  • In this short video, I want to show you guys that my alocasia velvet has its first flowering. I was so excited, in the beginning it looks amazing. But the flower did not last long and the end it was kinda disappointing.
I hope you like it, and please remember to thumbs up and subscribe.

I was wondering what was happening with my Alocasia! It was fun then disappointing, but now that I understand better, I feel better about it!

My Alocasia 'Polly' started flowering about a week ago, and I'm really happy with it doing so. The flower itself looks like a discount version of a peace lilly flower 😉
It's like the plant puts all it's energy into the beautiful leaves, and then not much is left for the flower... Reminds me of Calatheas, stunning foilage but meh flowers

What should we do after it blooms its flower? Will it stop growing the leaves? I have a very2 big alocasia jacklyn that bloomed its flowers but i cut it off, now it stops growing leaves, the part of the flowers that I cut also starts to rot 😢 but the babies are starting to emerge. I'm so worried will it gonna be alright 🥲 may I know what's happening to your alocasia after it bloomed its flowers?

I can’t tell if my alocasia dragon scale is forming a new leaf or if it’s blooming a new flower.
