Awesome to see that tech being used on a 3d printed motor, I assume that’s using field oriented control? If you ever have time a video about the controller would be awesome

      Hi,
You are correct motor is controlled by using FOC, there is also integrated magnet inside shaft which is read by using 16 bit incremental(3D printed blue piece in video). Combining FOC + Encoder it offers high positional accuracy and good zero speed torque. Are you interested to see more about this TMC4671 control and its initial setup?

@@simplecad7462 I would like to learn a bit more about the TMC4671, even if you could share a good learning resource on the internet that would be cool. I’ve only just come across field oriented control and it’s sparked my interest, so far I’ve only found the VESC, Odrive and the trinamic systems. Cool stuff!
