Violent death in a police officer’s family needs always to be investigated by someone who doesn’t work with the officer. Even better, by someone who hasn’t even met the officer. Same for domestic violence in a police officer’s family. Get an outsider to investigate.
I'm from the area. He was convicted 3-2023 and sentenced to life. He was having an affair (of course) and didn't want to share his pension with his wife. Took 5 effing years to convict him. Massachusetts is not known for the most upstanding, honest cops ( it is getting better) but from the beginning, everyone suspected him and his computer searches (like how dumb is this guy) helped convict him.
For some, they will believe that their leadership position makes them clever and smarter than everyone around them. Which is why their choice negative behaviors never change. As a detective, you would think he would have done otherwise.......pretty much came up with an idea that wouldn't have exposed his true intelligence. Instead he banked on everyone to ignore what happened to his wife and exclude him because he's well respected for his title.
Well it didnt take "5 effing years" because of dishonest cops. Those two investigators were impartial and conducted it like any other investigation - which is tough to do when its one of your own. So those two, and others involved, are to be commended. The evidence was circumstantial even though we all knew he was guilty from the get-go. The conflicting opinions of the experts opinion, multiple explanations on how it could have happened this way or that - I can understand why it took so long. There is a lot of elements juries have to consider and even if they feel the defendant is guilty, they acquit if the prosecution fails to meet required criteria. But they stuck to it with this case, and everyone worked diligently to ensure Amy finally got justice. So quit your b**ch'n, Sue. ROFL!! Im just kidding!
@@telluryeSomething tells me you’re a cops wife from Massachusetts…..5 years….dude, get a clue. This should never have taken 5 years boo. Go tell someone else that bs story.
The first thing that came to mind is why are officers that know and probably worked with the victims husband investigating the scene. That should have never happened.
Nope, it shouldn't have. This is why have a rule of never date cops or military. They all know each other and are highly likey to cover for each other just because of the solidarity the uniform represents.
I just got thru watching this on 48 hours. It’s a shame that all of Amy’s family (except one of her sister’s) sided with Brian & signed a statement saying Any killed herself. How low is that for your own family to do. Brian screamed guilty from day 1. Glad he was found guilty.
You did a good job that deserves a file out. Stay happy and healthy the great awakening is coming this November GESARA NESARA The greatest time to be alive people just don’t know it yet watching the cartoon show. Awesomeness ahead
What is it, religious week⁉️ Every other true crime show lately is about “good christians” and pastors or is filled with religious families. It’s like watching the Christian Broadcasting Service 🤢🙄🤦🏻♀️

I wonder if anywhere has good cops. It seems most of the departments have bad cops.

Ow okay 👍
That house looks beautiful outside, inside is like one house from Tyumen, Siberia.
Yes. The inside of the house is a total mismatched mess. Awful taste.
Strange, I live just 15 Mi away and never heard about this story
Easily predictable. One would have been hysterical with 911, not the first word being "Hi,..." and so calm. Not upset whatsoever. 3:12
Why does it sound like he’s practically chuckling when he says “she’s dead” 😒
Ouuu..Massachusetts ‼️ can’t wait to watch the full episode!
