Fun fact - His F4 animation in Sento stance is Takeda's F3 from MKX :D
That move on Takeda was so good to check people with in MKX. Specially at the start of the round if you knew the matchup and the opponent was impatient and you just mashed F3 on round 1 start. Lost count how many times i've stolen first hit props while playing Takeda xD

@@ChuckBassFGCI was testing Sub Zero vs Kenshi and even if I Set Sento to 2, F22(Kenshi) in a loop that frame traps where if I flawless block the first hit it negates all chip. Well I'm able to buffer Armored Slide through it between Sento and Kenshi.
Not even talking about B12 or B2(Hold R1) either just the F22 frame trap

Exactly. People need to use him more. I see so much work put into these gams just for people to play it 20 minutes then it's on to the next. No discipline to want to master a game like before

You can also get 141, Back Kano Kameo, Sento Call. If done fast enough Kano knives true strings from 141 and Sento 2 will meaty.

Hi, could u explain how u did this combo 19:00? I drop the combo when switching to the other side. The opponent falls fast and I can’t hit the sento move. I got the 42 before down but after that it drops
Try to delay the first sento 3 as much as u can before the opponent hits the ground. That way you will have more time to dash under and hit the 42

Sub zero kameo with kenshi is very good for negating projectiles, Lao kameo

Amazing guide, but I'm having trouble consistently getting sento's 3 (damaging heel I think it's called) to hit the opponent after the f4 at the end of the combo at 20:20. sometimes the sword hits just a foot away from the opponents head after the f4 and I don't know how to consistently get it to hit them.
Best tip I can say is after the low starter u should walk sento forward a little bit before the first sento 3. And delay the j2 as much as u can before the f4.

Thanks bro. Cyrax is Probbaly the best kameo for Kenshi in the mirror. Otherwise he’s pretty hard to use now, as most people will just run away from him

So i do my 2nd sento 3, after that j2, but i just cant connect it with f4

You need to try and delay the j2 as much as u can that way you will be closer to the ground and the f4 will hit more consistently. However I’m going to be making an updated short kameo guide with some Minor changes to combos so keep a look out for that.

Hi, for the string at 19:42, I'm having trouble with Sento keeping up with Kenshi. Like he's lagging in distance behind and i'm not sure how you're keeping Sento up with Kenshi. I understand holding the kameo button prevents Sento from attacking. Was wondering if you could help me fix my issue? Thanks.
Also, sometimes I can't help but throw in Kenshi attacks when attacking with Sento. Might need some help with that too.
Edit: I realized I see you holding guard. I thought that was r1 as in preventing Sento to attack, for some reason.
Yea it’s just an alternation between holding Block and moving sento forward then doing sento 2, and then Kenshi does f22, then hold block again and repeat. No need to hold Kameo button for the infinite block pressure. Hope that helped👍
Also regarding the throws, you should be throwing back only, and if the opponent is successfully blocking all ur mix then you should implement the throw game. Most likely even just doing one grab while Sento is out is gonna be enough to open them up when u go for a shimmy since Sento has like 4 different options
Thanks for the reply! And I by throws I meant that when I tried to attack with Sento, that Kenshi would attack with him too sometimes. I realized that it’s just a matter of timing my inputs properly to fix this issue.

Thanks again very much. You don’t have to do this, but I would really appreciate it if you could make a video on all of Kenshi’s optimal combos and block string inputs? Something I really struggle with is conversions with Kenshi, especially in base stance when I can’t control the distance between me and the opponent, and thus I have a hard time properly setting up Sento stance safely.

Sorry to bother you again, but can you help me on this combo? 20:15 its after the second sento 3. When you kick after landing, but I don’t land before the opponent and the kick drops before I get to finish the combo
This one’s a bit tricky, ur gonna wanna delay the j2 as much as possible before u land on the ground. That way you will have more time to hit the f4. Also moving Sento forward a little bit during successive Sento 3’s helps

Yea no need to press r1 if u are alternating between sento and Kenshi. Only press r1 if u want to delay the mix or go for a shimmy
Banger guide. Is there a reason why you prefer to let the opponent just fall before calling sento as opposed to B2 into calling sento
Yes, a lot of characters like raiden, mileena, etc have good backdashes. B2 into sento call doesn’t guarantee sento, most opponents can either back jump out or back dash out depending on how high u hit the b2 into sento. That’s why I don’t do b2 into sento
I can't figure out how to do air attacks. When I jump after launching the opponent I can't press anything at all. I try normal attacks in the air and nothing come out. Also, sometimes after launching my jump ends up delayed and I don't meet the opponent in the air. I have this problem with air attacks with several characters in this game. I see people do air combos very easy so I must be missing something.
So when the opponent is launched and lets say for example you launched the opponent with db2 amp, you do a j112 and nothing comes out in the air?
@@ChuckBassFGC Ok, I am sort of confused about the meterless launch. Do you have to meter burn the launch attack in order to allow you to fallow up with air combos? I though that meterless lauch attcks were valued because they allow you to launch into combos without using meter. If this is ture then why are there meterless launch moves that don't allow you to do anything else after.
@@ramboonacid8366 you have to meterburn the launcher to be allowed to use air attacks. Otherwise it’s just used as a combo ender.
@@ramboonacid8366 only normals that launch will allow u to do air combos. But special moves like Kenshies Rising Karma or Ashrashs launcher both need to be amplified so you can do air attacks.

Yea I found that out a few days after uploading this, Kenshi can still bait it so it’s no big deal for him
@@ChuckBassFGC yes, but it's mind game, if you expect armor from the opponent and hold block after sento 2, he can jump out and escape from pressure if sento standing behind opponent back
