What’s insane about this album is actually that Michael produced 90% of it and they released it independently. Their management BMG is only contributing to the release a bit. So this is a 100% 5SOS body of work. I am so so proud of them.
everytime blake is like "i want them to go bigger!" i get that! i think the reason they dont is cause they are holding some intensity back for tour/live shows to really make the songs go OFF. I saw them this summer and they are incredible and put on a fantastic show and everything live definitely hits harder. i hope blake and all the fellow subs gets to see 5sos live at some point.

I absolutely adore their entire discography but 5sos5 is definitely the album, which reflects their creativity and their mindset as one band the most. The fact they were finally able to find complete expression with no one interfering in the creative process of their music and the way they promote it, makes this album, hell, the entire era so much more special. No one noticed how bloodhound could be a play on bloodline from Luke’s solo album and Greyhound is from Ashton’s solo project. Possibly Combining two names and sounds.

After being dissapointed by recent releases of many of my favourite artists (twenty one pilots, Lorde, Ed Sheeran....), I was so apprehensive about 5SOS5. Especially since 5sos is easily one of my top 3. Thanks fuck it wasn't so. This album slaps!! Another no skip album from 5sos. I feel so happy but also relieved! Also been waiting so long for album reactions for it so that I can enjoy it again
Alot of people have tried to jump on this 5SOS reacting train after you started doing it. What I like about you though is: #1- I think you are a genuine fan of them, and don't just put it on to get clicks. #2- you have relevant, interesting information about the music to share. As someone who doesn't have that knowledge or skill, I really appreciate it.
I just know this album reaction would feel like a full circle for Blake since 5SOS was like if not the first few songs that Blake reacted to his channel and that was the start of this amazing journey that we got to experience with him.

i love that you also appreciate them sharing equal time on the record. that’s the main bit of magic with 5sos for me. the fact that it’s ALL them, not just one member with backing members. it’s all 4 of them, and i get excited when i hear them harmonizing together and switching off, it’s so good!

This is the first 5sos album since SGFG that I truly loved out of the gate. Youngblood & CALM are amazing albums but this one is just miles better and such a huge step up. You can feel the passion and the cohesiveness in this one (and in SGFG), and I feel like Youngblood & CALM lacked that. Im so proud of them.
Absolutly agree. This is the first album in a while where it feels like they are a real band. The other two felt like luke singing and some guy on the computer. I also like that they use real instruments for the most part
While I actually really like the way Youngblood flows as an album, I 100% agree that 5SOS5 just flows so much better, it just hits different. And yeah there might be a couple skips for me on Youngblood, but NO skips on this album for me! The strong cohesive creative direction of Mike is just all over this project, even on the songs he didn't produce exclusively. Huge career ahead for him as a producer, which is awesome!

When I heard COMPLETE MESS for the first time I knew this music was different (in the best way) and BOY did they live up to it! This album is so incredible and you’re reactions, iconic as always. In the bridge of Bloodhound when you thought it was Calum it was actually Ashton btw :) all of the guys did so fantastic on all aspects of this one and it’s so special to the band and the fans because of how much creative freedom and love went into it. King Michael Clifford producing more then half the songs and all of the guys writing so many of these tracks by themselves or with little help. Each album just gets better and better which is mind blowing. So much love for this band, this album, fandom and of course you Blake :)

so interesting at 29:55 during the take my hand bridge, where you say you want it to be big, with full roomy drums- as you mentionned before that you tell people who get into producing to kinda feel what theyre craving; that Big Moment in the TMH bridge is something i felt lacking even as i listened to the song the first few times! interestingly enough, they do have that moment i was craving in the live arrangement, which overall just goes way harder than the studio version lol. i think you’ll really enjoy hearing this one in the ONO show

Listen to Luke in Bloodline, and then you can definitely hear it. Calum sings the corus of Haze, You don't go to party's, and Bloodhound which is where his voice is clearest.

It was not. That is definitely Luke... maybe Calum together but Luke's voice is louder. Calum sings the chorus of Bloodhund not Flatline.
