Emperor Grandfather Clock Westminister Chime

- This is an Emperor model 300M grandfather clock kit built in 1975. I bought this used for $75! (not working of course). I fixed it and it now works perfectly and sounds awesome. It has the triple chime selection and silent mode.
It seems as though a couple of the hammers are not hitting the rods propperly, but it is a very nice sounding chime!

Looks like my aunt’s grandfather clock there may be a difference on the case though.
Is that the original movement?
Yes it’s an urgos movement you can tell by how the hammers look and how big the chime barrel is and he posted about this clock on some website about how we repaired the movement so yes this is the original movement
I think the hammers are so close to the rod
Yeah I fixed that. Some others commented on that too. It sounds even better now.

He does seem to be active on his website as of 2024 just not on his CZcams I guess. you could go to his website and ask for a update
