This is like the 5th inning. The same play with Belle happened in the third and Belle did nothing to break up the double play. So, he made up for it on this one! They threw at Belle in his next at bat! They hit him, he said nothing and went to first! Second baseman was interviewed after the game and said the hit was part of the game! It was back then! And so was the international HBP on Belle. That was the end of it.
That was uncalled for by the Yankees pitcher. Piazza didn’t mean for his broken bat to fire toward him.
And to make things worse, he said afterwards that he thought it was the ball.
@@ReeseDavidsonClemens was looking right at that piece of the bat before he threw it in Piazza's direction. He knew exactly that it wasn't a ball.
@@kevinstull8552 Even if it was the ball, it makes no sense that he would throw it at the runner. This isn't kickball.
😊
Clemens could never get Piazza out that's why he threw it. Dibble throwing at the runner, that was pretty low.
First baseman should have just looked at Dibble and said "You go get the ball"
McCann and Clemons both should have been tossed out.
The 2nd Baseman is still seeing a chiropractor after that hit.
Albert Belle is menace and I love it
Vina played by the rules and you hate it?
@@daBEAGLE1017 Someone reads into things too much.

as if freeman or mccann never pimped a home run
