IT dept is delaying the processing of returns where there is no payment due, no refund. Their priority is to process only return with refund and nil returns where the tds matches the tax due. Wherever there is no tax due and Adv tax and Self accessment tax paid, they have put the returns on hold even if it is ITR1 and there is no defect and nothing wrong in that. May be we have rise the grivence to ask them to complete the processing.

I want to tell categorically that IT deptt is working very smoothly and ITRs are getting processed perfectly well and smoothly in time except those segregated as defective or under observation. Your description in video frightens us. Pl stop these descriptions. Thanks.
