It's always hard to get rid of plants. I, too, have cleared out some that no longer give me joy and constantly struggle. The whole purpose of growing plants, for me, is to give me joy and watch the plants thrive. I always try to rehab the struggling ones, but there comes a point when we just have to let them go.

The library boxes are so nice, some of our towns have them here. You have such tranquil walks. They look so peaceful but oh my goodness what a foggy ,cloudy ,day then the rain poured down. The birds are making some friends to you to get a treat. At least they’re not attacking you or Balu, just hanging back. Love the plant 🌱 propagation and will love to see the growth and your office will be a botanical garden. Your nook in your home looks so peaceful. Home is love and happiness. Use a warm damp cloth on the unfurl leaves and that will help them to open.
I know this trick, it's just too much work for me right now. Have very busy schedule at my 8-5 work. So deff looking into more easy plants 🪴 ☺️

The crows were hilarious, they probably watch for you and Balu now 🐦 I've also thinned out my plants getting rid of the ones that have been struggling. I'd love to bring some to my office but I don't have any windows where I sit. Try plastic cling-wrap the moss pole so moss will not dry out too quickly.
You could propagate the tradescantia and make it bushier. It would make it look healthier.

Svetlana, I loved the intro to the vlog, it reminds me of autumn, rain definitely helps after a heat wave. I read a lot also🤓If you feel overwhelmed with plants, I agree to try to rehome them or bring them to the plant swap, they are living things and it’s sad to just toss them, in my opinion😉. Yeah, can’t wait for the plant swap next month. Me personally I’m looking forward to fall. Here on Long Island NY, it’s been so hot and humid, and not much rain, so a change in weather to cooler temps will feel good.

Marantas are really tough. They are pest magnets and can’t be dried out. I lost my battle with thrips and finally got rid of my lemon lime maranta as well. And all the others I have tried I just can’t seem to keep alive 😢.
I'm so sorry again Natasha, but your mug is still my favorite along with other special things like make up or slippers and etc 🧡
Put a stick pole or something she can climb on and trust me she will grow fast and leaves will get huge iam talking about the silver sword.btw ola miss seeing ur vids here in Connecticut USA..

Wrap that silver sword, the opening leaf in a warm moist either paper towel or cloth, around the opening leaf and hold it there for a minute or two. It will ease it out in just few moments later. Life tried it.

I find marantas hard to keep happy. The only one I have ever kept happy is my variegated rabbit tracks maranta. I’m getting ready to propagate it to make it bushier.
So fun! I tend to keep them happy for half a year, and then it's always a downhill 😅🤔

Oh gosh, your weather has been a little crazy, and those birds are loving you treating them because that is how crows can be and they will follow you for a long time if you keep feeding them. My weather here in the US has been crazy, we get rain storms and really harsh wind. I am so happy that you have some plants at your work place and the ones you are taking care of at home are going to do better now that you are back from your honeymoon and sometimes plants can struggle when we are not around to take care of them.
