I got teary seeing how lost he was without Sherpa. Glad the old boy is okay.
The look in Jamie's eyes right after the nurse took Sherpa. You are right, deblgus.
What happened??
Me as well
They "live" with you, they are part of your everyday life. A most pleasant part. And, they miss you when you "disappear.
Yeh. He lit a candle for Sherpa. God bless them.
It looks like it was much tougher on daddy than Sherpa. Here's to a quick and healthy recovery.
Good sherpa
Good boy Sherps was tough having to wait whilst he was at the vets we all love you Sherpa x x
So glad it all went well :)
Poor fluffy Sherpa. I Hope he will ok and happy as before.
@@markusmichaelsen7359 please have some respect! ,,,đ
I hate to see Sherpa go through thisâŠ
Hard day
Sherps and Key đđđ
Makes you realise how empty the house, van, everything feels without Sherpa.
"Not worried" but like a good loving Dad he is 100% worried â€
âșđ
1000% and trying to convince us, otherwise...
Aww, the fact that Sherps had fans that recognized his vehicle and was waiting for him to come out.....That was so sweet.
Haha that was a little mad haha.
I'd have waited too!
He had a reception due to a Lord.
You can just see the love Jamie has for Sherpa.. when he goes for a Hi 5 when Sherpa not there.. Dogs bring the best out of humans. Unconditional love they give us.. So glad Sherpa doing well...
Lighting a candle for Sherpa is the BEST, Jamie. I keep a Saint Francis medal on my girlâs collar. â„ïž
Look at how Sherpa comes out as happy when you turn up to see him
So cute wasn't it đ
@@Sherpas_vanlife yeah
I actually teared up as the nurse was walking him out.
The very best part for me was when you went to Church and lit a candle and prayed for Sherps. My respect for you just went through the roof, Mr. J. You're the best doggie Dad ever. Love you, Sherpa đ¶â€ïžđ§
Thankyou Dennis đ
After seeing Jamie's face while Sherpa was in at the vet's all I can do is wish Sherpa a LONG happy life. đđđ
I know. He was so nervous
i wished that every dog had an owner who loved them as much as Jamie does Sherpa x
Not having Sherpa around was kind of sad even for that small amount of timeâŠI missed himâŠIâm glad his ok â€ïž
Yay, Sherpa is such a fit boy he was probably talking the vetâs ear off after his procedure bragging the tooth fairy was going to bring him chicken balls. The other dogs were like âyo youâre Sherpa, do you really know Batdog? Let him know I have a zombie problem at mine, I can use his help. Iâll use my hoomanâs credit card to pay his petrol.â So glad heâs up & around ready to go on his next adventure. When Jamie was going to pick him up he has the same excited expression as Sarah, really cute trait dad & daughter share.
Lol...so true!
You are so right! Jamie and Sarah do have the same expression! đ„° I love your story you made up too, LOL! đ€Łđ So glad Sherpa is doing well!

I LOVE THAT!!! âIâve just had a call from the vet⊠5 minutes agoâ⊠papaâs already on the road to get his boy! đ„°
Awe....so sad when the dynamic duo were shortly apart. I love that his thought was to light a candle for Sherps recovery. Yay baby Doggo.
This made me a bit emotional đ itâs very touching to see just how much you care about Sherpa đ€ heâs just the sweetest boy ever, thank you for sharing him with us! Sending lots of love to you both today â€ïž
Aw thanks Moly đ
I agree with all of that!
Jamie is an awesome dad

You hid your anxiety from Sherpa so nicely. When he came back into the van the relief on your face was so genuine, I felt it. Iâm so happy Sherpa did well! Heâs an excellent boy! Bless you both â€ïž
Carpenter needed to build Sherpa a stand for his food and water bowls. Text me with the bill after delivery. ty
I can sympathize with the extreme worry and the delicious relief. Each sedation for them is like we get the adrenaline medicine filled with dreadjuice. Your face throughout said it all, including the 'I'm trying to be brave" face. I'm soo happy he and you are OK.
Good boy Lord Sherpa, and Commoner Jamie. đ
It melts my heart seeing daddy Jamie so worried about his boy Sherpy . I'm so relieved he is doing well after his surgery . Those two have such a special daddy / son bond .
Sherpa: "The vet promised he would demonstrate how the thermometer is used on pops during our next visit...looking forward to that!"đđđ

I really felt how Daddy missed Sherp during the walk around town. It was soooo quiet when he entered the church. If Sherp had been there, he would've ANNOUNCED his arrival with a side bonus of why isn't there a welcoming committee of admirers to greet him. đđ
So happy you are doing great! đ„°đ€©đ
Such a relief seeing Sherp almost himself. A little quiet, but safe healthy and home! Now all you both need is an adventure! đđ€©
It's nice that Sherpa is back home. Now the big boy is really spoiled by dad đ. Have a nice weekend both of youđâ€ïž
This is so touching. It's so obvious how much Jamie loves Sherpa and how precious that bond is. Sherpa is older now, and surgery is riskier. As our furry companions age, we worry more about everything associated with them. It's hard, but it's also beautiful the attachment we form in our lives with them.
It was so strange without him đđ
@@Sherpas_vanlife what was the surgery for? Was it anything to do with that plastic and sausage he ate the other day?
Never seen Jamie so worried, what a great Dad đ So happy Sherpa is doing wonderful & all went well. đ
Love that you lit a candle and said a prayer for Sherpa AND picked up some treats for him as well. Life suspended until you knew he was ok. That's genuine love and devotion. They are our family after all. Love and best wishes to Sherpa and his Dad from Australia.
Jamie! You are making me sad when you try to call Sherpie in the van and no head comes poking out. đ
Horrible wasn't it đ«
@@Sherpas_vanlife it was
Awwww this video is proof that Jamie needs Sherpa and Sherpa needs Jamie to be complete! They are a team and that bond is so, SO healing! A little dad and Sherpa cuddle and all is right with the world again! Every hooman that has been adopted by a dog knows this! I never felt better than when Harlowe's emergency surgery was done and she could come home with me and cuddle!
So true... True Love đđđ Love them both too đđđđđ
Unlike Jamie I was a bit of a mess. I didn't want her put under so I stayed, went into the room and held her while they did all the cutting and draining. She was so brave and I hugged and kissed her the whole time! When we got home we cuddled and watched Sherpa, Batdog, Jamie, K'eyush and Jodi which made her happy and just feeling her breath next to me was the best feeling ever!
Oh Jamie your face said it all when he went in! Like when you leave a child in hospital. Lighting the candle for him was so nice . I said a prayer for him! The relief for you when he came outđđđ. Such a good brave boy. Well done dad as well đ
Oh, Jamie! You big softy. You missed him so much, and you were so worried about him. Iâm so glad everything went well. Sherpa seemed totally unfazed by the whole process. Heâs such an easygoing dog. Love to you both. đ
I'm so happy Sherpa did well for the surgery. He's such a good boy, I think a lot of us were worried for him
Your love for Sherpa made me cry. You have a big heart. Sherpa is a lucky dog. Love from Norway
Jaime, waiting is the hardest part when your best friend is having any procedure. He'll be fine because he's strong. You keep him that way. You're one of the best pet dads I've ever seen. â€ïž Just in case I'll be saying prayers for him đđđđđ¶đŸâŁïž
I like how Sherpa kept his bandage on his leg after his operation so that everyone would know he'd been a brave boy whilst at the vet's and give him even more fuss than usual!
See how Sherps canât even exit the vet without having fans waiting there for him! đ¶đ€Ł Hope he is going well Jamie. đ
Look at the smiley faces of Sherpa and Jamie, that's what we needed to see!âșïžđ
For the last few days, Ive been keeping thinking about you, Jamie. While I prayed for Sherpa, a mere thought of how anxious and scared you must have been made me feel awful. Waiting in a vet can be very tough, I couldn't shake the feeling of my heart sinking when our animal family is poorly.
We all know Sherpa's got the best dad possible, you two deserve all the congrats and celebration there are in the world.đđ
Aw thankyou so much âșđ
@bravepoodle I can't agree more with what you said. Only people who treat their animals the same as children have such a great feeling of care and fear. We are everything to them and they believe that we will do the best we can for them.
And Jamie fully justifies Sherpa's trust. The best dad ever.
@@Sherpas_vanlife A hug for both of you.â„

Sure happy to see him out and happy. He is eating and no loss of appetite. He brings such joy and gives such love. Canât help but love him back. Cheers Jamie! He is loved and so are you. Stay safe my mates!đđđ·
It can be terrifying when our animal is at the vets for treatment of any kind. It's genuinely the sweetest thing to see you both being so happy after reuniting đđ
I'm so glad that all went well. I love that you lit a candle for Sherp; how sweet. Bless you both.
That was beautiful.
I have been so worried of how âourâ boy has been. Jamie your eyes said just what the fluff monster is to you, so happy and relieved that he is okay. God bless and stay safe x
So glad everything went well. Poor, poor Jamie! So worried, but Sherpa is just like 'sup, Dad, I had good sleep. Chicken balls please'. Our furry friends just bounce back and live in the moment while their guardian's are nervous wrecks. What the vets and their teams do for our furry friends can not be praised high enough. I'm looking forward to more adventures with our fluffy boi and his obedient servant. đ
I love watching the interaction between Jamie and Sherpa! I wish every dog and their owner had a special relationship like these two. God bless you both.
So glad he's okay - He's a happy Boy now and so are you.

Lonely and worried Jamie, that makes me sad.
It was so weird and horrible
Watching you wait was nerve wracking! You didn't fool us and you can't fool Sherpa. Daddy was well and truly worried. So happy all went well and that he's home and on the mend.đđ€đŸ
Probably my favorite Sherpie video. Every true dog lover will relate to the emotions Sherpaâs hooman was going through during his ordeal. As I get older everything is relative to my âMaxâ. Outings, snacks, vacations, friends. We love our doggies and rightfully so ~ itâs a bit selfish really isnât it? We receive so much more in return. Thank you for sharing. This one brought tears as you were leaving your little guy at the Vet.
I could see the joy in your face as you were driving to get him! So happy you guys are back together!!

Working as a vet tech this makes me feel so sad to know some elderly dogs never come back.... there are huge risks with surgery and to know how odd you felt with him gone just a few hours, breaks my heart. Good news is, usually when you do a dental on an elderly dog, you don't have to do another one, you just judge there quality of life as those last few years pass... He's such a good boy I have no doubt he will hVe many more years to enjoy!
