My Son had his 17th Birthday yesterday while he is at his Father's house during his visitation time share. His Father forgot his Birthday (again) and my Son is both heartbroken and mad, understandably so. I fell in love with this song because of the lyrics. Maverick's voice and the overall feeling of the music makes it hit me at my hearts core. I sent this link to my Son and told him this is our song now. It says everything a Mom could say and feel for her Son. "I Got You" is the message I take away from this song.
