I'm an infant toddler teacher, and I understand exactly what dad is talking about how he has always spoken to his son by speaking correctly, and like he's older. Being an educator, I have been taught that you should (NEVER) speak baby talk, or babbling to an infant or toddler. You should speak normally as if they understand. And believe it or not, they do understand. As he said in this interview that if his son points to something and babbles, he just says what he thinks his son means. Anyway, I hear a lot of people use the word (are) instead of (our). If you are referring to a group of people would you say, "Here is (our) team over here. Or would you say, "Here is (are) team over here? I hear the word are used incorrectly all the time by soooooo many people of all races. I hear it on TV, the news, and everywhere. It has become one of my biggest pet peeves lol😂. So if our is are, what is are? Please don't be upset. I'm not attacking you. This is just my teacher moment🤗🤗

This is what being genuine and loving parent can get you. This father is just being a father and spending time with his son. Fathers you all are so much more important than some of you realize.
