Also a Mexican checo fan. While not gonna jinx it, I’m here after Hungary Grand Prix. While he did crash at Q1 😬, he made it up finally up to 7th. While he fumbled qualifying he made up for it unlike other times where he just crashes for the heck of it. Hopefully this means something good.😅

Being Max's teammate is demoralizing. He is THAT good, and it gets in your head. Checo pushes harder because he doesn't know where to find that extra time in a lap, and he ends up hurting his race.
What happened in Red Bull Ring with George snatching the win is what RedBull wants Checo to do. But sure, he is in a slump right now and it is not looking good for him at all
I was joking around with a friend before qualifying in Hungary that Checo would be knocked out in Q1 again. I wasn't very happy that it really turned out that way...
Seeing Checo honestly, wholeheartedly, think he could challenge Max for the WDC is like watching the wholesome friend everyone loves asking out someone way out of his league. You want him to succeed, but at the same time there's just no way it won't end in tears, embarassment and catastrophe. I don't think anyone hates Perez as a person, and we all want him to succeed in F1. But the objective truth is - whether it's his fault or external factors, he's been woeful, and he needs to lose his seat. *Stroll obviously deserves to lose his seat and has done for about 4 years, but that won't be happening so I won't even bother discussing that.
I feel like Checo is the same driver he's always been. He's never been consistent imo. He was just a mid-fielder so no one had expectations for him. We just remember his highlights and glaze over the lows and mids. Last year his car was so good the lows were kinda masked by the car's performance.
@@Alessandro14014 that was also the year where Racing Points car was a carbon copy of the Mercedes car from the year before, arguably one of the fastest cars on the grid.

As a fan of him It hurts. When the annoucement of his contract renew came out i was angry, i dont want. I really want for him a change of team 😢 for his mental health and carrer. All he hate he recieve is horrible 😢
It's so bittersweet seeing him in that 2020 RP and that win, knowing that he was that good, and looking at him now every weekend is depressing. I was hoping he would call it at red bull and go to audi, or straight up retire, and when I saw he signed again with Red Bull was crushing cause I knew things were going to be worse.
149 Point gap is not bad. 20 1-2s, and you get a 140 point difference. They don't want him to take points away from Max and give their competitors a chance. That season was exactly what Red Bull wanted. Easy WDC for Max, easy Constructor's championship for the team. Last season and this season he started to get worse though.
Oh look another delusional "they don't want him to take points from max" crazy person. HOW HARD IT IS TO JUST KEEP FINISHING 2ND and GRAB 1st WHENEVER MAX DNF'd.
They 149 would probably be acceptable. Bottas had similar gaps in the Mercedes era too, and nobody really questioned if he is good enough for a number 2 there (although he was a lot closer in a number of years, especially 2017 and 2019). The problem is a 290 point deficit, and a 137 point one, halfway through the season (like right now).
I just remember checo at goodwood this year and while max is being interviewed perez is behind one of pillers so the crowd cant see him looking like a prime depressed leclerc while Karun has his back turned to him 😢
Equal machinery? Ricc is gonna set up that car so differently that it's not the same car anymore. Remember when he was teammates with Norris and kept moaning about the car set up?
I agree, the Miami destruction really mentally broke him. Perez was and never will be the same again. On older tires Verstappen drove circles around Checo.
Hello brother, this video is amazing. Recently, something bad has been going on in my life, which is why I am not watching your video. I love your content, please make more like this.
I think it's all Checo's head. I mean after Miami when Max destroyed whole field and Checo himself something broke in his mind. He was still fighting (lol) for championship. Later He developed medical issue which some drivers had: EuroPerez and the rest is history...
Missing to mention that the sub championship in 2022 Max didn’t support checo and caused furry and individualism till now a days, but indeed the Miami race was the game changer also the famous Mexican box fighter Canelo Alvarez mention in a presentation that hopefully he wins Miami but didn’t happen very well so that was the main catalyst 😢
As a perez fan i really wanted to see him become world champion and watch movie like rush (2013) on him played by Tom cruise but with current performances from perez, we sadly we may never goings see it.
@@omargodinez7256I'm not denying that the pecularities of the RBR car design are probably uniquely suited to Max over Checo, but dear God, the man is fighting with the Haas drivers and getting overtaken. It's clear Checo needs to figure something out becajse even the two-year extension didn't solve the European slump he's had since last year. I wish the best for him but there is no dismissing that Checo is not in top form when arguably worse cars are next to him in the race.
Great video - I really quite like Checo, so I don’t like to see him (or anyone else for that matter) struggle, but he’s a loooong way back. I feel for his fans, nothing worse than not being able to get away from headlines and opinions that the driver you follow is washed.
To be honest, I would say that Perez has been mediocre for his entire Red Bull stint. Two races in which he defended against Hamilton does not change the fact that he scored only 5 podiums in a 2021 championship-winning car. 2022 was probably the only season in his Red Bull stint that I would describe as moderately acceptable for a number two driver. It's disappointing, as although I feel like your praise of Checo at the beginning of the video was a little too generous, I would say that he was very good in the midfield and his 8 podiums that he achieved in midfield cars was an illustration of how he was able to consistently put himself in situations where he would be able to take advantage of top teams getting it wrong, which is why I thought he would have made for a very solid number two. Unfortunately, we find ourselves talking about the Red Bull second seat, AGAIN. I'm getting extremely bored of this talking point which has been a thing since Ricciardo left the team in 2018. I wonder how much of it is Max making his teammates look worse than they actually are, but to be fair, Perez isn't just losing to his teammate, he is losing to a bundle of cars that should not be in front of him.
Checo is talented he not the best but not the worst he is good in midfield cars not top tier also everyone ignores that facts he atleast had a few wins not like Gasly or Albon
@@BLEON94 Gasly had only 12 races in a Red Bull that was nowhere near as good as the 2019 Mercedes (or the illegal 2019 Ferrari engine) and Albon had a Red Bull for 17 races that had to go up against the W11, and a car that was basically a copy of the 2019 Mercedes. Not to mention that they were both inexperienced young drivers at the time they were in the Red Bull. It was understandable for them to not win races. I'm not justifying their poor performances (especially Gasly), but winning races was not a priority for them. Checo has had 3.5 seasons of having either an extremely dominant car or a championship-winning car, not to mention his 10 years of experience before he even got the seat, so to only win 5 races, as well as long streaks of not even finishing on the podium is just not good enough for a top team, tbh. Gasly and Albon were fired for underperformance, and Checo has had similar levels, sometimes even worse levels of underperformance (in a better car) for a longer period of time now. Again, I'm bored of seeing more discussions about that Red Bull second seat and I don't understand why since Ricciardo left in 2018, they have struggled to find a driver to fit that seat, but I think it's time to put someone else in there. I'm sure that Checo isn't as bad as this. He was great in the midfield. I just don't think he is suitable for a top team.
@@SURGASURGE12 you coudve just said that Gasly and Albon car were crap and the last part than saying an essay but Ricciardo was in Red Bull for a long time and only managed to get 7 wins is also not enough
@@BLEON94 Again, Ricciardo never had a Red Bull car as good as Checo (in fact his stint was against prime Mercedes dominance as well as Ferrari's best effort in the hybrid era) and he still managed to win more races than Checo has done in Red Bulll's most dominant era.
Honestly, even in 2021 the writing was on the wall. Red Bull had a legitimate chance of winning the constructors title if he didn't bin it at multiple occasions, with Imola & Belgium being particularly notable. Not to mention, he just generally did not get the best out of the car with low points finishes in most of the races he finished. It is disappointing to see a driver with such talent just not perform. Old F1 heads remember his valiant effort in the 2012 Malaysian Grand Prix, where he was catching Fernando Alonso's Ferrari in a Sauber (Yes, they were good at one point!).
Verstappen is an absolute animal. He humiliated checo in 2023. He heard Perez yapping about a title and thought naw fuck that you ain't getting it and proceeded to win every single race bar singapore. Verstappen ended checos career

Also a Mexican checo fan. While not gonna jinx it, I’m here after Hungary Grand Prix. While he did crash at Q1 😬, he made it up finally up to 7th. While he fumbled qualifying he made up for it unlike other times where he just crashes for the heck of it. Hopefully this means something good.😅
@@karlaromero2390 I know! My mom and me were devastated after the crash but I’m so happy he actually recovered with a very decent strategy
And OSCAR WON HELL YEAAAAAHHHHH
that pretty much sums up my situation funny that you wrote it down perfectly🥲
Idk but I saw his racing point force India drives and became a fan
He was driving avg cars and making most out of them and now he's just 😢
Even today he fumbled badly
Perez' season 2023 was exactly the same as 2024. In 2023 he started strong but since Miami it went downhill. This year we see the EXACT same thing!
I honestly don't think a 13 yr career is collapsing. He's in his twilight yrs and there's sth about being a Max teammate. Remember Daniel Ricciardo.
Being Max's teammate is demoralizing. He is THAT good, and it gets in your head. Checo pushes harder because he doesn't know where to find that extra time in a lap, and he ends up hurting his race.
@@ToyotaMotorola yep, perez is good but working with max must be a nightmare
I thought it is a fresh video but it was released even before the Hungary quali.
Wouldn’t surprise me if Max naturally started wanting to beat Checo after Checo said he wanted to fight for the title.
What happened in Red Bull Ring with George snatching the win is what RedBull wants Checo to do. But sure, he is in a slump right now and it is not looking good for him at all
Saying "yes" when Red Bull offers you a seat is a career destroyer; especially since Max came in.
this editing is mad man keep it up! Feel like I'm watching a serious yapping movie love it.
I was joking around with a friend before qualifying in Hungary that Checo would be knocked out in Q1 again. I wasn't very happy that it really turned out that way...
Please talk about Hulkenburg's recent p6 quali's in a frickin Haas!😭
That Haas is not a slow Haas anymore. It’s the best of the rest car
"And let's not forget the British grand prix, in qualifying Perez gets stuck like he's playing step sister on Brazzers " 💀💀😂
Bro why would he say that 💀💀
@@keitv4519 That shit got me dying of laughter 😂
💀💀💀
The fact that Logan beat checo in a Williams is crazy 💀💀
Be specific
I feel like Checo is the same driver he's always been. He's never been consistent imo. He was just a mid-fielder so no one had expectations for him. We just remember his highlights and glaze over the lows and mids. Last year his car was so good the lows were kinda masked by the car's performance.
I mean, he was great in 2020, 4th in driver standings with a racing point, maybe he isn't made for a high-tier team like red bull
@@Alessandro14014 that was also the year where Racing Points car was a carbon copy of the Mercedes car from the year before, arguably one of the fastest cars on the grid.

Guess what….he crashed in Q1 today
I lowkey feel bad for him bru😞 Checo I will never forgot about the racing point era😤
As much of a Checo fan I am, I need him to get his shit together cuz it's getting so hard rn 😭
Dude fr. I’m also a Checo fan but this man has to lock in before the rumor is true of him being replaced
Not easy when you have Max as a teammate 😂
Nah fr cuz otherwise he might get kicked out😭😭 like wtf
Today he crashed in Q1 in Hungary, so he proofs everything you said.
Well watching this Video today after qualifying was very fitting
someone turned off all the assists on his controller to troll him
out of all the countless channels posting about perez and his seat, this is hands down the best video about it, cheers
As a fan of him It hurts.
When the annoucement of his contract renew came out i was angry, i dont want. I really want for him a change of team 😢 for his mental health and carrer. All he hate he recieve is horrible 😢
Well done video on Checo. You've managed to capture the emotion I feel on this matter. That's a fully earned sub/like!
That "Losing His Seat" song is like, SO GOOD. Sure wouldn't mind knowing who made it.
Gib title pls 👀
Its from Half Life "Triange at Dawn"
@@RicksF1Addiction Muchos Garcias, boss. And I have the audacity to call myself a gamer LOL.
Whos here after his quali crash?
Still consistent even in Hungary. Not jinxed this time.
man he crashed again in hungary qualifing😂😂
What if he win hungary 💀 as Rick's prediction always cause opposite action
Verstappen after baku said smth like "i will never loose to
him again" and then miami happened
only got worse in Spa. Qualified 2nd (smoehow), was given a good strategy, but still finishes 7th, beaten by his teammate who stared 11th.
Couldn't ignore the song choices here. Great playlist buddy
Who's here after Hungary Qualifying?
Finally, rick uploaded a new video 🎉🎉🎉🎉, I've been waiting man 😊
i find it pretty funny how many chances have been given to perez when every driver before him have been kicked out after a couple of mistakes
Ngl id love to see him in another f1 team to prove us wrong by coming 2nd in like an alpine of haas or smth
I always knew that he could never be better than Sargeant 💀

Yall I’m chillin 😭 I was just on my period
I just remember checo at goodwood this year and while max is being interviewed perez is behind one of pillers so the crowd cant see him looking like a prime depressed leclerc while Karun has his back turned to him 😢
When you get out qualified by Sargeant in a Williams, you're doing something wrong
Are we going to get Daniel ricciardo in equal machinery as max verstappen pt 2?👀👀
Equal machinery? Ricc is gonna set up that car so differently that it's not the same car anymore. Remember when he was teammates with Norris and kept moaning about the car set up?
This first age well after Hungary
I agree, the Miami destruction really mentally broke him. Perez was and never will be the same again. On older tires Verstappen drove circles around Checo.
Hello brother, this video is amazing. Recently, something bad has been going on in my life, which is why I am not watching your video. I love your content, please make more like this.
Whos here after he crashed in quali for hungarian grand prix
Me
P16 to P7
I think it's all Checo's head. I mean after Miami when Max destroyed whole field and Checo himself something broke in his mind. He was still fighting (lol) for championship. Later He developed medical issue which some drivers had: EuroPerez and the rest is history...
This video reminds me of the Rocket Powered Mohawk cinematic masterpiece
….because it’s a thinly-veiled ripoff of said masterpiece (and RPM in general)?
That Half Life Soundtrack in the end hit different and fit so well. Love it.
Can you tell me what that was? Tried to find it on Itunes. No luck. Loved it.
1st, love your vids, keep up!
Thank you !!
He just crashed.
I really wish to see Perez preforming amazingly like in his pre redbull era
Watching this today after his Hungarian crash lollll
I got exams but fck it lets roll
Crazy to think that he never crashed a car, to now seemingly doing so every single race.
Red bull 2nd seat curse
As a perez fan i really wanted to see him become world champion and watch movie like rush (2013) on him played by Tom cruise but with current performances from perez, we sadly we may never goings see it.
Babe Wake Up!! Rick just posted a banger Vid !!!!

You can do this with any F1 driver. Little Ricky has a personal prob with Checo
Yeah, it's pretty clear at this point it isn't even the same car
Could Logan Sargeant outqualify Logan Sargeant 7 times too?
@@omargodinez7256I'm not denying that the pecularities of the RBR car design are probably uniquely suited to Max over Checo, but dear God, the man is fighting with the Haas drivers and getting overtaken. It's clear Checo needs to figure something out becajse even the two-year extension didn't solve the European slump he's had since last year. I wish the best for him but there is no dismissing that Checo is not in top form when arguably worse cars are next to him in the race.
Well well well
Charles having to explain to the crowd that he couldn't go anywhere in Mexico 🤣🤣

As i said it could be worse, like a México 2023
@@brod2321it could had been worse. But he can still give points to RB.
Great video - I really quite like Checo, so I don’t like to see him (or anyone else for that matter) struggle, but he’s a loooong way back. I feel for his fans, nothing worse than not being able to get away from headlines and opinions that the driver you follow is washed.
No you can also follow the Dani Ricciardo formula too. He would love to be Checo right now.
Idiot Mercedes were faster than red bull in 2021 he still managed to win a race Bottas was behind Latifi in a mercedes mate
OH MY LORD CHECO VIDEO!!!!
That "EMPTI" inside the pic is crazy and I liked the videos before watching it... 12:03 Loving it so far..
WE GETTING TO THE BACK OF THE GRID WITH THIS ONE 🗣️🗣️🗣️🔥🔥🔥💯💯💯
Perez is destroying his career faster than I clicked on and liked this video
Perez’s mechanic and team must be feeling the pain rn 😭
We want carlos to be in that seat
Honestly, even in 2021 the writing was on the wall. Red Bull had a legitimate chance of winning the constructors title if he didn't bin it at multiple occasions, with Imola & Belgium being particularly notable. Not to mention, he just generally did not get the best out of the car with low points finishes in most of the races he finished.
It is disappointing to see a driver with such talent just not perform. Old F1 heads remember his valiant effort in the 2012 Malaysian Grand Prix, where he was catching Fernando Alonso's Ferrari in a Sauber (Yes, they were good at one point!).
Interesting thing is he kinda botched that Malaysia thing as well maybe. Win was on the cards untill he span on admittebly wet track lol
The defending for verstappen in abu Dhabi destroyed the car
Verstappen is an absolute animal. He humiliated checo in 2023. He heard Perez yapping about a title and thought naw fuck that you ain't getting it and proceeded to win every single race bar singapore. Verstappen ended checos career
The worst thing that can happen to an F1 driver is having Max as your teammate
