I have 3 of the large of the 1973 Mountie quarters. 2 were in a roll i picked up for my son to use the pop machine at school and the other in change at Wal-mart about 6 months ago. How do I know if I have the better ones?

I have saved every one that I have come across. So I had a lot of them. But I only found four that are truly large bust ones.
Can't wait to get them back from having them graded.
How's the best way to get them graded and sell them The mounty quarters and any other coins
I heard about the 1973 Mountie quaters back in the late 70's, but forgot exactly what the difference was. So, every one I found, I kept. 13 - 14 years go by, I have hundreds of them and then my place got broken into and the entire lot vanished.

How do you know large bust from small?
I think I have 3 now if I'm right about lge bust.
I got a 73 LB in a DD set once. Sold it for $225, paid $20.
I searched about 15,000 Pennies and found a lovely specimen 2006 No Mint, Magnetic.
I would like to get it graded, but hear that it's a big hassle, memberships etc.
I am in Canada. I also have a big trunk of unchecked US/CA cents.
Also got some rolls of nickels from 40's-50's from an Estate Sale that was using them for making change. I couldn't believe the coins I got at face value. I still have unsnecked rolls.
Make friends with an antique dealer who does coins

On the 73 quarter large bust. What is the best way to tell? Do you have to count the dots? Or is their a easier diagnostic?

The beads are very close to the rim on the large bust and fairly easy to distinguish this way. I also tend to keep any quarter from 68-72 handy as it is the same bust on those quarters as the large bust on the 73. My father passed in 2019 and my mom is just getting around to his coin collection and what to do with it. It’s quite large (I think, lol) but who can ever tell these days, maybe 5000 coins????? Cat got into kitchen drawer in my 1933 old house, pulled out bottom drawer and there's a 1953, 1940, 1920, 2-1918, 1915,1910, 1859 Canadian Penny's, large cents 1920 round nickel (mint error), 1960 beaver 12side nickel, 1920, 1919, 1918, 1913 5¢(tiny), 1919 dime. All Canadian. & 1942, 1867 half penny(British). all while getting cat out. (I'm in US)
