IMO im just buying all 4
im too 🤣
Lol yep I pre-ordered them for 130 so not awful
A lot of people are saying R\G Bello is the best deck. It just runs people over. And it’s difficult to deal with. The enchantments just trample and smash, while also having killer triggered effects
Yeah my friend got it without modifications and I struggle so much with my shorikai upgraded... I'm happy to hear that from another person, yes it does snowball very fast with mana snowball, very strong creatures and enchantments that boost everything plus attacking with indestructible...
3:28 Counterpoint: Why yes I would like to Offspring evoke costs
Why, yes, I would like to Offspring the most rude etbs ever
I wouldn't be too worried about the prices right now; the set hasn't actually come out yet and Amazon currently has Squirreled Away at the pre - sale price of $50.
U can not order it at that price tho (at least in Germany)
Glad I preordered Squirreled Away prior to the price increase!
Im new to magic and picked up all gor pre cons as my first commander decks. I did ot mostly for thr awesome art, but it seems like they are actually awesome precons to boot!
this set is cute and all, but it DOES allow you to enlist child soldiers with the offspring mechanic. which is arguably more morbid then everything seen in the phyrexia sets.
🤔 😆
I strongly disagree with Zinnia being 3rd, in all test plays it was consistently the strongest deck out of all. It is the biggest threat out of all 4 commanders.
Agreed. Jeskai colors and 2 mana to duplicate etb, and give a 1/1 body seems rather slept on. That’s before a flying commander that gets boosted by the 1/1 bodies.
@@WizAquila that 2 mana etb, extra creature adds +1 to yout commanders power as well
..2 mana for +1 power, extra etb, and a 1/1 body is a lot
Also agreed, Zinnia can rather easily smash face with flying evasion and win through commander damage too, in addition to going wide, which I don't think was mentioned in the power potential section. It was rated 1st with all the categories factored in though lol.
How do you know playtest data?
They probably have not playtested it themselves. Its all theorycrafting.
Bloodroot Apothecary keeps your opponents from being able to use more than 5 treasures while it's in play and could discourage even that many on the off-chance you or any opponent is running proliferate or infect. With how insanely common treasure tokens are, I'd argue it can fit in a decent amount of decks.
@@PerpetuallyTiredMillennial it can fit in every green colored deck as a sort of silver bullet. Almost every build use treasure and stuff. There are many shells heavy oriented on tokens and this guy alone should wreck their strategy.
This card seems an antisquirrel precon card and it's a squirrel too, but included in another deck! Oh, the irony...
Fisher's Talent is a 4 Mana Phyraxian Arena without life loss. At worst!
I think the reason they made it sorcery-speed is so you can't give your squirrels Vigilance, swing in with 20 squirrels, then tap them all during combat to give everyone +40/+40.
Don’t see how animated army was the worst, Just seen commander at home last vid and Kibler went off with that deck
Tbf kibler can go off with a ham sandwich
The deck is unfocused and Bello can be stopped super quickly and then all of your enchantments and artifacts stop being creatures. Also the 4/4s don’t have any evasion so it can be hard to get through to draw a card and do damage
I got Squirreled Away for $46 on pre-order … GO SQUIRRELS!!
Me too 💪💪💪💪
Let's squir....rel together 😂
Same. Soon as I saw chatterfang on the commander deck I bought it at $45. Now it’s already at $60 and probably more
Yup, got mine at 48, so pumped. Already ordered all the singles for upgrades.
Bought mine for 50 I'm not looking to sell cards I just wanted to play the deck and I'm glad that I'm not gonna have to spend the 70 to do it
Price shouldn't be included. You can get all 4 on tcg player for $130.
I've been waiting for the right squirrel tribal deck pieces to come along for a while to make a true squirrel tribal deck. Chatterfang was great, but it still felt like they weren't squirrel tribal enough to build (more just tokens and aristocrats). I think with the cards in this precon, all the pieces I want are there. Fear my tree rats and their bounty of nuts.
Heck yea
Weird i find the perch protection is a better version of teferi's protection aslong as you have the mana, you weaponize your opponent's resources and make it so they cant affect you, i just wish it did goad their creatures. but most the time there will be atleast 1 player who you can use to attack the others
As a Jeskai Player, who enjoys Creature Token decks, I must buy the bird.
He doesn’t like Bloodroot because he loves treasures. It’s a great treasure hate piece.
with the raccoon, wouldn't it apply to enchantment creatures? not just regular enchantments that were not auras
Your correct. Also, the raccoon is one of the strongest decks in this precon.
@@stevolam182what creatures you create from artifacts and enchantment are already going to gain indestructible. you could throw in hexproofing for all your creatures, thereby effectively removing single target removal threats like path to exile.
One creature specifically makes all your creatures hexproof and there's an enchantment that cost six mana which does the same thing.
you could cherry pick the best enchantments that fit that CMC requirement and artifacts as well. this is what makes the raccoon deck so incredibly strong. what you can actually do with it. now what is actually in their presently. though, there's some really good pieces in there, don't get me wrong.
however, the biggest problem with animate army is keeping your commander on the field. once they figure out that getting rid of your commander will make those indestructible creatures destructible, you haven't got a chance.
I am excited for the Squirreled Away Precon Deck, I already know how I am going to upgrade it, it is going to be a deck that has two functions to it, the first one is obvious make tokens and the second is utilizing those tokens into creating mana to cast giant X Spells. Which is why I am going to put in Unbound Flourishing into the deck. The reason why I am going with this route is because it is also utilizing Hazel's first ability that would create me a ton of mana and then with Unbound Flourishing i can cast giant X Spells, I am going to include the Growing Rites of Itlimoc in the deck for the backside of the card and try to get my hands on a copy of Three Tree City so I can create more mana. It is going to be NUTS!!!! (pun intended) LOL 🤣🤣🤣
There’s videos out there saying family matters won 3/4 games they played.
Arthur could be fun with etb triggers could be fun
I think pretty clear the price disparity was what knocked squirrel away off the top. Hopefully folks can find it at retail price.
Yeah like most will be able to get it at around 50 dollars, presale prices are always much higher
Sanctum weaver and gauntlets of light with 2 more enchantments on board can make infinite mana as well. So mrs bumbleflower could take advantage off that
Was thinking of ways to improve Bello, the raccoon commander.
Something like: non-equipment artifacts and non-aura enhancements you control are also creatures with power/toughness X/X, where X is their CMc, indestructible, haste, and whenever this creature deals damage to a player, draw a card.
Obviously there’s no real point to wondering much about something that different, but it feels like it could play a lot more aggressively and low to the board, instead of having to ramp into big enchantments/artifacts
I imagine you could probably rebuild it into an enchantress deck. maybe something like enduring enchantments from Commander Masters.
Bello was actually very strong. I've playtested them all and Bello is brutal and constantly strong
@@ryanfeery7361 I learned a lesson with creative energy period you can't pay attention to what the packaging or general opinions suggests. That deck wasn't about energy, it was about creating token copies. It only used energy for either combat payoffs or to facilitate the function of creating token copies. Pretty much it.
With this one however... Animated army is about putting big stuff onto the field and protecting them on your turn then making them even stronger.
I have this stack coming in the mail. My upgrade pass will be replacing the vehicles and some artifacts with strong enchantments while replacing some creatures with some in my collection.
It is my hope that this upgrade path upgrades the card draw engine. Making it far more efficient for my needs.
That commander is going to need protection. So one card that definitely gets thrown in? Archetype of endurance. Absolute hexproofing.
I'm actually really excited for Bloomburrow. MH3 drafts were getting a little old and pricey. Although I enjoyed the hell out of it.
With Ms. Bumbleflower, since you have to draw two cards and your opponent only draws one, wouldn't you mill yourself out before your opponent??
If you target the same opponent no, they’ll be drawing the same if not more then you
Um. What about chatterfang as the alt commander for Squirreled away?
Hazel with Helm of the Host is funny
Aggravated assault is a really good enchantment to use
@@brandonperrott9861 i'd like to add it in gruul deck but it doesn't work with Bello, still a strong option.
Bought the 4 for 140 $ am keeping the squirrel i sold the other for 45, fk the profit i just got my deck for free and 3 ppl are gonna be happy
Zinniandeq easy upgrade is soulkindler and/or skashima
Brambles was made for a mox deck
Zinnia at 3rd? I'm seeing so many people and channels saying its the best of the four.
What? He placed it at number 1.
@@el_james1254 talking about out of the box in the beginning
Eh, I want Ms.Bumbleflower for group hug. Not combo break.
she is a ninja commander and the guys of a group hug commander. getting stronger in the shadows while group hugging everybody else.
@@Gershelf you should play it the way you like most. It's a combo machine but I think it's really nice to play as pure group hug deck.
@@nontinteressamki419 I agree. I am not saying that folks shouldn't play her combo. All the power to folks, to play it as they see fit. Long as they aren't the sorta combo players who take 25 minute turns to show off their combo, before saying it's infinite. :)
@@Gershelf i'm not into combo but I'd fit more wincon in the group hug deck, no infinite combo. I'll go through the game giving gift and making my opponents draw a ton of cards... perhaps till decked out :D
I just want all of the frogs!
Value Packs were enough for me to pass Bloomburrow. Shame, it looks like it would have been fun too. Especially, as this set has the best Magic Intellectual Property in years! But falsely advertising "value" to vulnerable (under-aged) customers is criminal.
I've bought the squirrel terror deck 😂
Mirror box and anylegend rule doesn't apply to you cards are NASTY in Zinnia, paying 2 for a 2nd Elesh Norn, grand cenobite is just nasty
Golgari eating good 💚🖤💚🖤 gotta run Hazel
Bro was way to dismissive on Bello. He's gonna be a powerhouse, just you see.
Getting all 4 for $130! Looking forward to upgrading!!
where did you got the deal?
@@SeniorAdriangame nerdz (or Maybe gamernerdz?) I forget the exact name, but I preordered the fallout decks there and they were also cheap and came on time/well packaged. I've found they often have the lowest prices out there
it's crazy how pushed is the squirrel, thankfully i didn't preorder noone or I would have cancelled it
Ms. Bumbleflower force you to draw 2 cards once it triggers more than once per turn. So you would mill out yourself before anyone else. Am i missing something?
No, that only happens on the second time a spell is cast. After that, the first ability only triggers continuously. The first one triggers every time, second one only on the second spell basically
damm, i love the raccon, but i dont now how to do a best deck now u.u
Just because it may be the weakest of the precons doesn't mean its bad, there are plenty of ways to build it to get powerful fast, it jjust might take a bit more work and time than the other deckks
Molten echos, Roxanne, multiple combats and things that like when creatures etb for draw is gonna be a fair threat. Ramp shouldn't be too much of an issue. I still think it could be extremely strong but not Cedh
My pod preordered 4 of them, I chose Animated Army simply because I love raccoons lmfao
Squirrel!
Squirrels all the way
Given that the Squirrel precon is the main one being scalped, I’m sure it’s safe to say that one.
It's either that or the offspring one
I think it's more expensive because MTG players have a lore with loving squirrels it seems.
@@arkboy4everalso they shoved so much value into it for no reason. The value of that deck is more then double the rest of the decks
Zinnia is the strongest deck out of all of these in all test plays, the group hug deck had been the worst from what ive seen.
How do you know playtest data?
@@idontcarewhatname123 LGS
Lol we all know you just hate letting your opponents draw cards.
