Louise always been truly amazing singer, it was so sad when she stepped away from music she always shines like a true star.
Sometimes we get so lost in a marriage we forget who we really are. It doesn't mean you love your family any less. Its just a shame you couldn't have the best of both, but been married to another celebrity must be difficult. It's obvious how much in love you were. You were so devoted to each other and still are to your wonderful boy's. Louise I'm so glad your back , I'm just sorry you've had so much heartache to be you again.

This is an entirely different approach. Esther is Esther - nobody's stupid enough to compete. Louise is all about the jazzy lightness and she suits this well.

Holtham01 she never fitted in with them. I think she's better solo. She always stood out from eternal, nothing to do with skin colour, you could see there was a huge split.

Loved their gospel singing they could all sing so well.
She was never utilised enough in Eternal! She's a great singer and there was basically one lead singer in Eternal (can't remember which of the two sisters) and the other three were basically backing singers/ dancers. Looking back I love their music still but just can't believe they never made more use of the other singers in the band

Esther was always the loud shouty one with all the limelight. This is a more mellow jazzy version, nice. Maybe you should of took the lead in the old days, if you dared to lou!

This was sung live vs the studio version everyone's referencing and Louise's vocals are not the same as Easther's,she'd be mad to try and do a straight copy besides the original had a studio arrangement and who knows what enhancements,if Easther sang Louise's songs like this they'd sound equally altered or not the same as the studio version.
Her voice is too tame, to give this ballad justice.

Cute. A nice rendition, but Esther's lead vocal is still the trump card here. I wonder what she is doing these days? It is such a sin that talented singers like her, Dina Carroll, Pauline Henry, Heather Small, etc. should remain without working on continuous projects.

The pitch and depth of her vocals are nowhere near Easther’s, the backing singers are carrying everything on this one. I’ve heard better cabaret versions on a solo piano!

Easther's style was more gospel Louise's style and cadence to be fair isn't,and if anyone sang this song bearing in mind of the last 30 years of the studio arrangement that this performance is being judged on, you'd have to belt the vocals out of the park like Celine Dion in her prime to stand a chance of equalling the original vocals...
