Her raw stat is great especially on FP with fleet and correct buff it can go like 500ish but then
Helena RNG Proc radar scan is still the best of term for dmg buff afterall 40% dmg increase still a very massive and its good in bossing
But yes hindenburg is underated and that FP stat is disgustingly high... Althou to be fair the PR6 have a pretty decent ship to choose too alongside the BBV which get voiced by bochi...

Well she got me because I am developing KMS Hidenburg first as my first PR6 ship to be in my dock! So excited to unlock her and have her as a future oath!
Kearsarge might be the best ship (in theory) but there's already A LOT of options for backline compositions, almost every UR event ship is a backliner. that's why I chose to do Hindenburg first.
I'm looking forward to trying her. At the moment, the vanguard are basically glorified buffbots for the mainfleet (someone tanky and 2 mainship dps increases like Helena/Bristol). I'd love to see her take back a spot as pure raw dps.
I want the venguard ship, so that’s what influenced my decision this time around.
Who knows, though. I started with Brest for PR5, and she ended up as my last ship to lv30.

that ship will have even higher FP stats wiht full gear also she can get like 40% more dmg when you count all buffs you can give her Insane

WW1 Iron Blood ship (like Elbing or Seydlitz) already have the option to either equip an AA gun or another main gun... so Hindenburg certainly not the 1st ship that have that option...

you should of seen hindeburg when she firsrt came to WOWS, she was god tier, even Battleships feared her cause of her raw DPM
I did the math, with bismarck zwei + emden + herself buff= 40% extra fp, 320 + 40%= 448 + 130 fp of the two UR CA guns= 578 + FuMO= 610 raw FP its insane, not counting the extra FP of technology or the stats of the oath.
Is the math correct? Based on the formular you would count all the flat buffs together and then multiply them by the FP boost. Also don't forget that she can put on the Great Sword augment that can give her another 25 FP.
I think the actually number with your gear would be:
320+130+32 = 482 x 1.4 = 674.8 FP, so it would be even more
If I add the Augment and my Fleet tech (22FP) and oath her on top (338 FP), I would sit at:
338+130+25+32+22 = 547 x 1.4 = 765.8 FP
@@meto9552She has no need for the fumo. What she needs is reload to make full use of her 3 guns and their nasty modifiers. Goldburn is a given, gotta see if autoloader fits. Also even more reload from Bismarck 1, Jesus Christ, it gets scarier every day…

I don't understand why you said Hidenburg will strip out all of Drake's guns. Why not use her own rainbow 203mm skc gun? It has a better modifier and faster reload, too
Because the PR6 rainbow gun modifiers on normal and heavy is trash. Only good on medium armor. Whereas Drake's gun only loses 5% effectiveness on medium, but gains 30% on normal and 10% on heavy armor compared to the PR6 gun.

Also, Hiden gun shoot much faster than drake gun which mean she can proc her AoA much often, and it's an AP, it can penetrate enemy. Unlike normal, AP can do collateral dmg. No doubt Hiden gun is the best heavy gun in the game
no point using drake guns anymore, hinden's gun deals better damage on medium but will probably deal more on other armor types as well cause of better shooting angle.
Drakes gun is better on Roon than the Hindenburg gun is.

I’m done with the first mil xp for Kear but Hindenburg looking pretty tasty. Although I only have one drake gun 😢. I was focused on getting a second tenrai for Hakuryu and Plymouths gun.

dont have even 1 Drake gun. time to start and replacing Ägir. but first i complete my second Plymouth gun. as a 16month old account its hard to farm everything missing. focussing on BS fleet, i dont even have a half decent CV fleet
i will agree that she is a good ship, as for fillin that 3rd slot, i dont think she is as safe as we think. if u doing single fleet setup, with helena on 20sec CD with BB, then she is a good consideration. if u doing a BB set up in OpSi and helena is with ur Carrier or another fleet and ur running BB fleet with 457s, roon muse will give her a run for her money. consider roon muse does pretty good dmg herself and benefit from all teh iron blood buffers as well, all u really have to consider is roon 10% dmg buff and see if that is better or is the dmg from a extra gun better. roon buff on 15 sec CD last 6sec. 457 is about 17sec, with most BB reload buff, it probably 16.5 or so. which line 457 really good with roon muse 10% buff. aigir main gun is on 7.8sec CD so she also line up with roon buffs too. in a boss fight with one target that 3sec freeze can be taken in consideration. then roon shield every 30sec.
ship to ship, hinderburg strongest heavy cruiser so far, but in a fleet comp, tough to said, have to wait til we get dev30 on her and see her ful damage output to see how she does.
One Question: Isnt Leipzig better than Emden? Emden gives 10% FP but Leipzig 10% FP, TRP and RLD?
Emden buffs all FP therefore main fleet as well which is why she is better.

Its not really a problem since you won't run two heavy cruisers in the same fleet anyways. It doesn't really matter what gun anchorage has and Hindenburg is a direct upgrade over Drake, so there really isn't an issue besides maps that require more than one fleet and wont let you change equipment.

Drake just too bad. Her gun is good thou. I believe that during her design, drake stats supposed to be par with all CA but with her skill which give 15% both FP and EVA and 20% RLD make her busted to some extent. So manjuu decided to nerf her. Her RLD stats so bad that par with 3rd rated CA even thou she is a DR/UR class.
So, IMO Hidenburg pretty good IMO but CA is bad in general after CB introduction. So so tankiness, so so FP and meh HP. Not as high as CB but not as low as LC.

fr. when I started playing during the Inverted Orthant rerun I knew I wanted to play a specific faction. me being german and a lot of the IB designs being cool as fuck that was like an obvious choice. and then I watched a whole bunch of older guides on the factions and stuff and with them being older everyone said that IB is kinda bad cuz every good thing is event related and without events its super hard to properly get going. and here we are now. pure IB faction fleets make for very strong fleets and I'd argue even if you didnt catch the last events as a future IB main you can still get stuff done.
also AL has proven to me to be worth playing simply just because it is so super new comer and f2p friendly. I started during Inverted Orthant rerun and I still got all the ships from that event.
