Monsters resetting hp when they’re out of combat would kill flinching methods. This could be easily fixed by making it so the monster has to be out of combat for, say, 30 seconds or so before the reset occurs.
It only happens if no one is in the area. I hope it will be long enough so it doesnt affect corp soloing. But probably like after one or two minutes I guess. I think if a player is in the area they never reset.
It also just seems unnecessary, even as someone who plays an iron monsters being half-dead has never been that big of an issue as it is rare and usually only impacts 1-2 mobs.

Honestly removing restrictions from certain builds would just make those builds less interesting imo, cause the whole point of them is their restrictions.
@@xSetkux they honestly should just combine the other lower lvl’d melee prayers into one instead of removing the 65 defence requirement from Chivalry, and for the lamps, it’s not as bad but it would mean 1 defence accounts with Barrows gloves instead of Mithril, and it’ll give them access to dragon slayer 2, which in turn also gives them access to Ava’s Assembler, those are just 2 things which’ll upturn the meta.
this. im honestly tired of restricted builds complaining about their self imposed restrictions. its like starting an iron and complaining you have to collect everything yourself.
Bingo board sounds great for the more dedicated teams, but for the casual folks maybe consider allowing board setups/goals to be imported from popular ones. It'd boost the adoption rate for the feature quite a bit.

Ever since combat achievements came out I've always wanted them to do something similar with the collection log, amazing to see them actually do it. Also, as someone who doesn't sort my bank at ALL, the new bank QoL changes would be huge for me.
so stupid that they want "manually banking efficiently" to be a way to express player skill? think its a weak excuse they just didnt want to say "rs3 has bank loadouts that function correctly but our spaghetti code and servers would not handle that so this is the best we can do"

@sabokizi This is like something that RS3 lets you do. One click = fully re-geared. It’s awesome, but I don’t think it’ll also affect your inventory like in RS3….just your actual gear.
To be fair they already tried to give chivalry to pures with the pvp arena rewards along with a bunch of cool armor that wouldve brang life to all new account builds. Sadly every reward was spite voted and none of it passed and now we are stuck with the abysmal rewards from the arena now which makes its completely dead content besides imbue boosting.
I like the sound of the npc behavior update, except it also sounds like it would kill the flinching mechanic from the way he described it. Npcs resetting once registered as out of combat. That is how flinching works in the first place, waiting until the hp bar disappears, so the player can get the first hit again before getting back to a safe spot.
I think the NPC reset behavior only works if both the player and NPC become unaggressive, most common situation would be if a player teleports away. Flinching usually means that NPC is still aggrod towards you.
Jagex now recognizes 1 def accounts with their own high scores. It’s about time they start allowing updates for us, and not leaving it up to the community. We can’t do hallowed sepulcher because some random pre-quest to sins gives a little def exp as a reward. We can’t mount a damn KQ head in our house because it randomly gives 200 def exp. Couldn’t go back to the monkey madness island after completion for 15 years until they finally made a change. These are completely random, pointless restrictions to accounts like ours that jagex shouldn’t allow the community to spite vote no on.

Or why we should be limited from Sins of the Father because of a defense XP reward from sub quest a mod made in 2006 on RS2? The Chivalry and the Xp lamp ones are both fucking stupid imo, chivalry especially, if you want access to the prayer, train your defence, however I wouldn't be against combining the 3 lower lvl prayers into one.

Aint no way they would just leave it at a few quests, i kinda get them trying to balance out pures in wildy but i dont think making _every_ quest give out xp lamp rewards from now on / changing how old quests work is that great of an idea.
@@thelegacyofgaming2928 HAving the quest xp reward be separate from the actual completion makes it so you can do certain quests on accounts you couldntbefore because you would get xp in a skill you dont want. So no it would not be the same.
Part of the charm of restricted accounts is navigating the game despite the roadblocks. If your restricted account cant use a piece of gear or do a quest that's part of the alternate experience. The more jagex removes roadblocks from alternate accounts the less interesting it becomes. Pures especially could be reduced to noob ragging accounts (Which a lot already are) which is bad for the game
I like the bank loadout idea, I'd like to see it come to light. I also really like the bank category idea. I do, however, think that the game shouldn't cater to pures and people who want to willingly restrict themselves from actually playing the game
I like both OSRS and RS 3 and it is good that both games learns form each othe. RS3 got ironmen, and OSRS is getting loadouts which RS3 has for ages. Glad to see the games are labs for each other:)
I always wanted bank loadouts like how they have them I'm private servers it's so quick and easy in private servers.. I hate banking and gearing for bosses it sucks when you forget an item .
C LOG UPDATES, IT'S A YES FROM ME I've always thought the collection log could do with some additional information, but was met with negative feedback when I took the idea to Reddit some years back. I love looking at my own personal data ranging all the way back to the day I made the account. I would like knowing how many Dragon spears I have got from all the monsters that drop them, and it not just stating that i've got 12 all from 1 boss.. because that isn't the case at all. I also find it an incredibly wasted opportunity for some extra specifics that when I click on an item in my monster log, it'll say in the chat how many of that item I have got, even though i'm literally looking at it on the screen. Instead that's where the more specific data can come in. It could say which monster dropped it, how many I have got now from said monster. It could say the killcount at which I got it. It could even say what slayer level I was when I got it(if it was a slayer monster) and it could also say the date/time. Now when 2 people are talking about going dry on an item, they don't just have to rough guess and say "yeah i haven't had one in years" they could instead say "I haven't had that drop for ages man... since 95 slayer (or since XP) and that was July the 10th, 2023!!". "Oh shit man, you are 1 year dry today, congrats! =D"... Maybe I just love OSRS log data more than most. But I think extra information in the log would be really cool
All sounds pretty good but the health reset on npcs sucks imo ik it helps irons but like think about people trying to solo corp or idk tabbing out to get spec for a boss so many scenarios where that makes no sense
Bank presets should be signed into law it is insane we still don't have that feature in osrs. Collection log rework with highscores is really neat. The rest of it is either way too niche to be worth any time or problematic in some ways.
The thing I dislike is having gilded tier after dragon feels so so off. You don't progress from dragon to gilded, it should get named either Bandos, Barrows, 3rd age or crystal tier.
It feels a little weird but I get it conceptually I suppose, you’re normally going to fill rune items -> dragon items -> gilded items in the log, plus if you have gilded last then you get a nice golden staff

The staffs look dumb and the book is held improperly (at the bottom like a weiro) I've been wanting to see a powerful rewards system for collection log tiers A staff and book that change slightly at tiers is silly compared to combat achievement rewards.
These are not guaranteed to make it into the game. Game jam is just about Jagex devs working on passion projects and if enough people like it, they might add it in.

It's game jam, dude. They let the devs work on things they want to for ONE week, per year. And these are the results shown for the majority of the video. As for the 1 defense stuff... are you truly that worried about a 1 def pure steamrolling you because of the Perilous Moon armor change? Which, btw, you have to get an item from PM in order to downgrade the armor to make it wearable for 1 defense builds. It comes standard as it is, but can be DOWNGRADED, not upgraded like most other items (Masori, Torva, and Trident of the seas to name a few). I don't understand why that worries or upsets you. Seriously, let the devs have their fun, and quit whining about things that help accounts that you shouldn't worry about. As an ironman, and someone who has had complaints about how easy they've made the ironman early game and midgame, and also made changes that really only cater to non-irons, I've had to learn to just move on and accept that things that help the game grow and thrive are better overall, rather than my own opinions on how fucky some of the changes were.
another update that canges the game forever? every fucken month with this bs at this rate i will not be able to come back to the game ever.... after every single major update we have to wait MONTHS for them to fix everything and they constantly change how things work after adding said content to the game....

The xp lmap update would be so dumb, it would ruin every "unique" low lvl / pure account

These are not guaranteed to make it into the game. Game jam is just about Jagex devs working on passion projects and if enough people like it, they might add it in.

I'm not a big fan of most of the stuff being as it looks to me Like they're catering towards Specific build types I think the game should be catered towards regular accounts I don't want to have to have to waste A reward from perilous moons so that I can get something that Make it so i Can now use their armor well I just get screwed out of what could've been an armor Peace The game creators need to stop wasting their time catering to small groups of people Who like special builds I'm not against You guys doing your bills But I am again Giving up My reward slots so that you can be more entitled
It's game jam, dude. They let the devs work on things they want to for ONE week, per year. And these are the results shown for the majority of the video.
As for the 1 defense stuff... are you truly that worried about a 1 def pure steamrolling you because of the Perilous Moon armor change? Which, btw, you have to get an item from PM in order to downgrade the armor to make it wearable for 1 defense builds. It comes standard as it is, but can be DOWNGRADED, not upgraded like most other items (Masori, Torva, and Trident of the seas to name a few). I don't understand why that worries or upsets you.
Seriously, let the devs have their fun, and quit whining about things that help accounts that you shouldn't worry about. As an ironman, and someone who has had complaints about how easy they've made the ironman early game and midgame, and also made changes that really only cater to non-irons, I've had to learn to just move on and accept that things that help the game grow and thrive are better overall, rather than my own opinions on how fucky some of the changes were.
Or, or, OR; you could just go back to the game y’all already ruined, RS3, and leave OSRS alone.
