Had a golden in the early 80's; so sweet, so kind. She had a litter and I kept a puppy. She taught him well, never made a mess inside (well except when it was sick), never chewed anything up, just a wonderful pair. I think of them when I see this. Thanks!
That's heartwarming. Thank you for sharing this. I wish I could see what your Goldens were like. It's confusing how a dog's life is only as long as a fraction of a human's. I lost a dog 6 years ago and another one 3 months ago. Have 4 others. I often wonder what they'll mean to me several years later.

@@salonikamat9048 I bet you will remember them with love and fondness. I lost Carole in 1990 and Arthur, her son I kept, in 1997. And have always had dogs since. I love and remember them all and miss them terribly.

I lost my golden retriever last month. He passed away quickly. We were at his side, holding him. He was 13 years old . I took him from the shelter when he was 10 months old. He may have been 100% golden, but he was a thousand percent the best friend I ever had. Not a bad bone in his body. All he wanted to do was play and have fun , just like the goldens in this video. I am missing him more than I would have imagined. A family member that was a part of each of us. Now, he is apart from us. I feel the loss deep down. I hope these doggo pups find their "hoomans". Take it from me, the hoomans need them.

I’m so sorry for your loss. I lost my Golden Lucy 19 yrs ago and I still think about her almost everyday. The hurt gets better with time but it never completely leaves
My golden retriever passed away almost 20 years ago and I still think about her. Dogs are truly human's best friend.
@@vigorousboredom7016 I imagine I will, but I wish that it wasn't as painful as it is. I still look to fill the water bowl, at the spot where his bed was, etc. I guess it is habit.

My parents had a golden retriever. The unfortunate thing is we had to have her put down when I was three years old. According to my parents, she was a 70 pound puppy. I don't remember her very well, though, but according to photos, she was a beautiful doggo. I guess this is why I have a soft spot for retriever puppers. They're such adorable li'l tater tots!

Was at my vet once a mom and litter were being checked, there was pups all over napping in pairs in the hall and exam rooms. Neat how they paired up!
