Mr. Powell, Braxton Turner here. I went and saw A Quiet Place: Day one, while I was out if power due to Mrs. Beryl. I’d have to say, the film exceeded my expectations for a couple of reasons. As you mentioned in the beginning it time, our class, until this video had released, the importance of sound design can carry and enhance a story so well. Mrs or ms. Lupita really stole the show, her non verbal communication with her body language to help convey what she’s feeling is awesome. Just like you mentioned that your wife made noise with her cup
there were kids in this movie, with their continuous erupt laughter and I was wanted to say, “sssh,” so bad because in my mind the aliens were coming. Anyway, I can rave about this film all day, but I enjoyed it. I want to believe that I enjoyed this more than the other two iterations of the franchise.

I didn’t love it as much as Part 1 or 2 but as a survival thriller with aliens, I really enjoyed my time. The characters were enjoyable and Lupita Nyong’o and Joseph Quinn were excellent together. Great review
