The cast breaking made that sketch funny. Without them breaking, I don't think it would have been as good
True, but whatever works. That's why it's live
I think that's the big thing. I felt the country song parody this week was like a far more solid "joke".
No one told Heidi & Kenan HOW Mikey & Ryan were going to look.
I disagree would have been better if cast hadn't broke as bad,a
all I know is I started laughing the moment I saw Beavis and then him looking side to side when Keenan said there was Beavis and then the “oh my God” to Butthead. Heidi cracking up only made it more funny and wouldn’t have been funny if I wasn’t laughing hard already.
I’ve watched it about 20 times! I don’t know how the “audience members” kept from laughing! Everyone was great ♥♥
I think some of them were tryhards trying to "make it big" thinking their whole careers rely on not breaking character lol, that's my theory anyway
My favorite sketch in a long time. I have watched it so many times already. So funny.
The way Mikey zeroes in on Heidi when she looks around 😆
Hysterical . I love Ryan Gosling. He always cracks up and really enjoys himself. One of the funniest S&L since the old days..and I’ve seen them from the beginning!
Back in the old days when it was easy to find a Savings & Loan??
Gosling and McKinnon and their alien abduction skits are classics in their own right!
This was so freakin' funny. even funnier that the actors broke character as it makes it priceless!!!! Well done guys!
That sketch was HILARIOUS! I watched it like 10 times!
THEY NEED TO MAKE A MOVIE WITH THESE TWO!!!!!!!!
Mikey Day as Butthead is the funniest thing since David Pumpkins
David S. Pumpkins
@davidp5947 yes, he does have a middle initial 🤭
I can't even look at him without becoming hysterical ...when Kenan says "exposed gums...."
heidi is freakin beautiful
Absolutely
Heck yeah she is.
she's freaking taken!!
She's a 3 and she's taken
Ryan fits so well with snl cast very refreshing.
He always does. He was killing me this time though, cuz he kept starting to laugh in every skit. I couldn't stop laughing 😂😂😂😂😂 my cat kept looking at me like mom, wth is wrong with you lol, for laughing so hard out loud lol
@@nickynseabass hahah poor kitty
@@AvreeL89 lol 😆
PHYSICAL HUMOR!! That’s what’s been missing
The thing that was funny, was good makeup? Pllleeeezzee
I remember when my 1st husband and I used to watch that show, and it was the funniest damn show around!!!
You got that right ---they really need more physical humor!
I have watched this a billion times. It's an instant classic. I have never laughed so hard in my life
A Billion times? Really
And you have NEVER laughed this hard in your whole life?
@@Lasthour123This wasn't the least bit funny imo. I didn't laugh even a little. ☹️
Me too.
Sorry to hear that.
I've seen this so many times now but I'm still laughing uncontrollably right now as I try to type.
Jumanji from the last episode was one of the best in recent memory, that and Nate Bargatze as George Washington.
Nate Bargatze masterchef skit was comedy Gold.
Definitely thr George Washington sket
One of the funniest episodes of television in recent memory!! They were firing on all cylinders!!
So right!
I died laughing when I first saw it and still do. Pure magic!
It's a bad skit. But it imploded genuinely spectacularly wonderfully.
Yup, I was around for the first SNL. This has to be one of the very best. Thanks
The best SNL skits alwaya include the cast losing their sht.
This will be added to the list with Brenden Faser's Xena skit (Jesus, I'm dyeing thinking about it), and Chris Farley doing Matt Foley, as well as more than a few Weekend Updates with Norm MacDonald.
Nope,I would say the 20 best include zero breaking. That's what makes it a legitimate aketch.
I’d still put this one up there with the Julianna Margulies bird feeding sketch.
This is one of the funniest SNL skits I've seen in years! In the same class as The Californians!
Ryan is so bad at keeping it together 😂 he breaks in every sketch
Haha and that's what makes it funnier because most people can't help but laugh when someone else is laughing on this show.
@@androgynylunacy haha yeah!!
And this is what make everything funny because he is not a comedian.
@@phenbuz yeah 😆
This scene is honestly what elevated the show from great to extraordinary
We might see a reboot of them too lol
"I heard rumblings " is one of the funniest things ever. You know they didn't show the cast the make up for these two.
Agreed. Funniest bit in a long time. Poor Heidi got blind-sided. Pretty sure Gosling and Day weren't in character at dress. Hilarious.
This probably *is* the best SNL sketch in years. And there was nothing vulgar or political about it, it was just really goofy and funny to watch. I hope they keep B&B as a recurring sketch...it connected so well with both the audience and the actors, there could be a lot of potential for more comedy.
Papyrus part 2 wasn’t a slouch either. Gosling killing it as always
Ryan IS Beavis!!! This genius sketch does not work if Keenan doesn't hold it together!!! Best in years!!
As sight gags go, it was pretty frickin epic. Lmao.😂🤣😂🤣😂
When Keenan looked over and squinted at the disbelief Butthead was also there made me lose it
Kenan is a brilliant performer...he can do no wrong
I loved it so much I downloaded it so Ill have it forever.
that skit was probably the funniest thing I have seen in decades, not just from SNL but like in my life
How were the extras able to keep their composure?
You know the comments down here saying g this isn't funny? It's those people that get hired to playbthe extras. 😂 they already don't find it funny.
The world needs a real live action movie of Beavis and Butthead. 😂
I think those two should make a new Beavis and Butthead movie. ☮️🙂
You could show the iconic laughs, the best part.
The best thing about that was no politics
It was an awesome sketch...and I have watched it a dozen time. Chucklefest every time.
Not since, cowbell baby!😂😂😂
It was hilarious. One of the best sketches in a long time.
I agree. Very funny skit, my face hurt from laughing!
That was the best show I have seen in a long time enjoyed it
Mike Judge approves of that sketch, I’m sure!
Of course it was the funniest SNL sketch in years! It was referencing the best TV Show ever made...Beavis and Butt-head!!! Winner winner chicken dinner!
Excellent I laughed my hinnie off 😆
I laugh each time I see this as if it were the very first time. It is by far the funniest skit I have ever seen!!!
I lost it when Heidi lost it !!!😂
That was so funny I might actually start watching SNL again.. lol
100% Agreed it is the funniest this year so far! 😂
I can't believe you cut out the bit where Gosling says I lead a very busy life. That lie was honestly the funniest bit I've seen and it made it the more ridiculous.
They should do this again, I watched this laughed so hard 😂
I love it when people on SNL break character. It makes me laugh so hard 😂😂😂
Ryan Gosling looks like Alex Baldwin dressing like Beavis.
I wouldn't call it THE funniest, that would be the first Lisa from Temecula sketch. But this was hilarious, especially because Heidi lost it which made it so great
Best SNL sketch in years! Hope Mike Judge gets some royalties! Lol
Kudos to the Extras for holding their laugh without farting.
After watching this sketch a bunch of times, I'm convinced the extras are fined heavily for breaking lol.
it s matt gaetz and jim jordan
Loved this skit
That could be the first step towards a Beavis & Butt-Head movie in the not so distant future!
Is Mikey D playing Matt geatz!?!😂😂 OMG Matt G is his doppelganger!! To the T
Watched 4 or 5 times. Too funny Uh-huh-huh-huh
anyone could of played Beavis!, but, it was that Butthead?, that MADE THAT SKETCH!.
That was probably the funniest since the cow bells!
Crazy thing is she had seen them before in dress rehearsal and had the same reactions.
They didn't have the gum prop in rehearsal.
They definitely weren’t in full costume for that. This was the first time she saw them like this.
They definitely didn’t show her b and b in dress before those moments lol
It was Heidi Gardner laughing that made the sketch funnier than it was..All the credit should go to her. Ryan just acted his part, nothing special
Hilarious! 😂
Finnaly very funny skit after a while
Its a great skit.
I wish that Gosling did Cornholio
I think it just seemed to be funny because the entire cast was having a great time. Ryan seems like a guy that laughs at himself and people find that rare and amusing.
Sounds like Brad Taste in Music who is voicing the video lol
If I were a producer on the show and someone showed me the script, I would have shot it down. And I would have been wrong. It ended up being hilarious.
This one and the Bill Hater / Cecily Strong, Cialis sketch.
They were in their makeup for the dress rehearsal, and Heidi did break some. But then they made some touch-ups//improvements to the makeup for the live show, and it obviously was too much for her to handle. I rank this right up there with Tim Conway's elephant stories from Carol Burnett Show and Vicky Lawrence's ultimate revenge on him for making them all lose control. :-)
I’ve heard rumblings…
SNL Live action movie of Beavis and Butthead using both actors? 😂
Live action film PLEASE😂😂😂
Remember 2020? None or not enough TP for the bunghole. Judge knew a crisis over TP was real and its mental affect. The Cornholio Effect. Remember the movie Contagion? Etc., Etc. A fine line between reality and fiction.
It was great. I just wish I would have heard them talking like the cartoon.
Beavis and Butthead live action movie anyone?
Really? I saw that. Clever premise; amazing makeup. It's just that the regulars kind of manage to mangle the execution. They over-emphasize the joke rather than tryin'a sell us on the idea that two men's style choices are disrupting an academic presentation.
The funniest in recent memory is Washington's dream...
I thought the engagement sketch was the funniest.
Very funny. But it’s not even the funnier Ryan Gosling bit. That would be the UFO abduction. And the Nate Bergatze George Washington was probably the funniest one in years.
This was a classic but The please don’t destroy skits are just as if not funnier!
Hopefully SNL takes notes on this. They have been producing garbage for a couple decades now. Finally something actually funny!😂
Sketch is about a cartoon that was popular in 1993. What!?!?!?
So, who wrote it?
Nah... should be Luke Bryan as Butthead and Neil Patrick Harris as Bevis.
BEAVIS AND BUTTHEAD live action movie .make it happen
It's true. LMHO
I see movie . Plz
it was alright... tbh the funniest in a long time was Mikey standing in for a 'sick' Chappelle
Yeah it was pretty funny and the costumes were excellent and I love Heidi but but I don't know did it really need its own critical video breaking it down? Probably not. I think Ariana grande and Justin Timberlake have both done some of the funniest skits on SNL.
it was really good, but it was the cast reaction what made it this popular.
... yet this is nowhere near as funny as many others, Like Telenovela with Bad Bunny, Pedro Pascal's hispanic mom or Undercover Boss - Star Wars edition with Adam Driver
Great now they will try to figure out the key factor that made it so funny and repoduce it but will eventually fail and just end up beating the dead horse
49 years of being funny.
If they weren't they would have been canceled.
