  • This is indeed the tallest hotel in the western hemisphere. It's not the Westin Peachtree Plaza in Atlanta nor the Marriott at the Renaissance Center in Detroit just because it's got more floors than this one. This right here is the tallest all-hotel building in the western hemisphere and it's a duo-branded hotel. The low-rise elevators serve the Courtyard rooms, which are on floors 6 through 34 while the high-rise elevators serve the Residence Inn rooms on floors 36 through 65. Both banks serve floors 3, 4, 5, and 35. The low-rise elevators are keycarded off, but the high-rise ones are not.
    MY THOUGHTS:
From what it looks like overall, these seem to be pretty boring from the fixtures that seemed so familiar to the generic fixtures I've been finding all over NYC. The overall cab design looks pretty and it's pretty tall too for a fast elevator! I do like how it beeps when you press a button and how it beeps rapidly when you select a floor that is locked off. The low-rise elevators seem to run at an average speed from what it felt like, but the high-rise ones run super fast, even with the extremely smooth acceleration! Overall, these elevators are absolutely brilliant!

I remember this was the hotel another user was harassed at, & he was only able to film the low-rise I think. Lucky you were able to film the high-rise!

Yes he kinda was. Just because he didn’t belong there doesn’t mean he wasn’t harassed. And from what I could tell that wasn’t security. Unless if they were in disguise.

Are those Monitor TR buttons or not?

Yep. Modern Fujitec installations tend to have third-party fixtures like Monitor TR.
