Guys I think that even those who don't seem to like the movie which is their choice by the way, should at least respect their work and not be hateful and also be grateful that at least we got a Mortal Kombat related movie after 24 years.

I think the word "haters" is too overused for people who criticize something, so any valid criticism becomes "ur just a hater" and ur whole opinion gets dismissed on that basis. I would say I am delighted the movies coming out as a huge fan of the OG movies, i had them both on VHS as a kid. I would say, I dont like that they race swapped raiden (love the actor tho thats not the point) and mileena. I dont like that a total random (hopefully he turns out to be a character we know) is the protagonist. totally valid criticism in my opinion. I would also say, no1 is muscular lol, the 1995 liu kang was so perfect and this guy is so scrawny, same for the others they dont have that swole body. they are my gripes and criticisms of it. and I happen to think theyr all valid. basically casting LOL! in terms of race or body, just feels off. I predict a solid 6/10 movie, its gonna look amazing but be "just ok". and lead to a sequel where we get johnny cage. The irony will be, we get a new guy, cole young so that they can introduce people who dont know the game to whats going on (managed it with liu kang and cage in 95 didnt they? so its uneccessary to invent a new guy), and yet if the franchise didnt have the MK fans like me and whoever is reading this wanting to see the movie it would totally flop regardless of cole young so, hes uneccessary. you alienate 80% of your viewers for the sake of 20% lol. just my take and my opinion, i hope its great and if you made it to the end of my comment, have a fantastic day man ^^

The movie isn't even out yet. Yes, the costume designer is doing a decent job, but you can't say the director knows what he's doing without actually seeing the film. I mean for fuck's sake, the main character is an OC, which is usually a red flag for video game movies.
That was one of the many mistakes that they made with MK Annihilation...changing directors. I understand Paul Anderson turned it down due to lack of interest in the script (as did 90% of the original cast), but that should have been a big hint to the writers.

Being a old school MK fan and with Sub- Zero being my favorite character since the first game. I am very impress with the actor portraying him in this movie. This is how I would have picture him in real life.
