Possibly the best budget Multi-Scale Guitar for "Djent" or Modern Metal in general.
with 27' scale length on lower string to keep the tension tight.

it didn't use pitch shifting nor change the string that came with this guitar and it holds pretty well,

Thanks man! The pickup is surprisingly great for the price, not the hottest one but you can make great tone out of it. The nut I think is a plastic

I'm totally confused between kx307 and the x300.… Saving up currently for an efficient guitar.
The x300 purple is so beautiful and is comes with EMG pickups by default. But it's a 6 string.
And the kx307 got the 7th string. I guess pickups ain't a issue on the kx307 if other peripherals are good enough to bring out the tone.
I m a casual weekend bedroom guitar player. Mostly would be doing snippet guitar covers of various songs and random jams to online backing tracks. I'm not a pro by any means.
What would you suggest to buy between the two? Any guidance would be hugely appreciated man.
i think if you going to play lower tuning and familiar with 7 string guitar you should go with kx 307ms, you can swap the pickups to EMG 808.
but i agreed the x300 finish look so good.

Thanks! This one is what came with the guitar and i think it was 10-58, its a bit loose for my liking tuning this to F# so maybe not that pleasant to play on E.
.70 is the perfect gauge for the low E on this guitar

yes you can, but its an 8string slot actually because it slanted so it'll be the 808.

This guitar hold low tunings pretty well and the pickups doesn’t get muddy with such low tuning, would definitely recommend it

Right now I am thinking about buying one of these, how is the fret acess on the 24th fret on the lowest strings?
It's pretty accessable, there's a slight curve in the neck joint. Actually i have a demo video coming up where i played some low 24th

actually on this video i didn't change the strings that came with it, so it sure totally can tuned to drop A

Unfortunately not on this one, the other series have one.
How was the fret out of the box?
the fret work is good, no sharp edges or tool marks. out of the box, there was a bit fretting problem but after tiny adjustment on the truss rod and string saddle its totally fine.
How's the tuning stability on this one?
it's great, even in this low tuning, it's barely detuned

Btw, mau tanya juga ane ada rencana ganti pickup tapi entah kenapa ini kok ukurannya pickupnya gak kayak 7 string gitu jadinya ragu. Kx507 pake fishman fluence yang 7 string sih. Menurut anda ini yang cocok ganti pickup yang gimana?
Setauku ini ni pakai pickups 8string, krna kulihat build ny sama banget sama Ibanez RGIF7 yg pake emg 808X. Dan udh smpet ku bandingin juga sama emg 707 emang panjangan ini. Jdi mungkin kalo mo gnti mesti yg 8 deh, dan kalo aktif mesti bor compartment buat battery ny

yes, as former ibanez owner i can say it's identical to ibanez neck

How is the feel of the guitar?
never had a multi-scale guitar, transition from normal fret to fanned fret guitar feel bit weird at first , but after couple hours of noodling around it feels comfy enough.
the extra scale length hold that low tuning pretty good consider its thin gauge. and most importantly its sounds impressive for its price.

is it really true that the 7th string is too bright?
not really in my opinion, it sit right in mid area. this pickups not that "hot" in terms of sound

How's this guitar? I'm planning to get one
It's quite good, decent build quality, not the hottest pickups but still sounds great for its price, and you can easily upgrade it to emg/fishman fluence
@@Zainmhz how's the clean tone? Does it also fit for emo/mathrock kinda stuffs? I play emo and djent. So looking for a good guitar for it.
@@aaronjohn1952 IMO the clean tone might not the best for emo/math rock , but it decent enough if paired with good amps/fx.
and for djent, i think it's best budget guitar on this price range

@@aaronjohn1952 played one, i would say it might be close comparison soundwise, with 26,5 scale length it's decent for low tuning stuff, and the price pretty much the same (at least in my country) .
But i'm not a big fan on schecter looks, kinda "too metal" for me haha
