This attraction really should have deserved a DVD with additional opening and closing credits.
Agreed
Yes! I would have bought it in a heartbeat!
Animal PawPony agreed
Or at least be an extra on the movie DVD.
Surprisingly it hasn’t been. Perhaps some legal mumbo jumbo despite all of this content being owned by the same company
Thank god people record these things before they’re lost forever. Of course, this attraction is already gone.
Which is sad.
Damn I saw this when I was young age 11
I saw this back in 2015 when we went to Epcot for the first time it's sad that it's gone.
Pumpkin Patch they should've put this in front of the new lion king movie
and it's amazing it lasted as long as it did. Lion King was still relatively a brand new movie when this premiered at Epcot! didn't it just close in 2019? incredible run if you ask me.
I love that the first half was full of laughs...and then it got real dark and serious real fast. Sometimes you gotta scare kids...and maybe sometimes adults...to make an impact.
I agree 100%
That's how cartoons used to be
I couldn't agree with you more
Even it's qualified, correctly or incorrectly as fear mongering, it's gotta be done.
There is no "gotta".
Simba is right, we have to take care of our planet and the plants and animals that have learned to share this world with
AJ the Dragon Slayer yes he is right :) we need to help the planet Earth And Animals from bad things
Sadôg well I'm a carnivore sad to say, I hope you understand
Sadôg thank you I'll think about it
Gotta take pollution down to zero
We will!
It will take a long time, but that doesn't matter!
What matters is that does happen
It will happen! We will make it happen!
The world depends on it!
Simba: This is what happens when we forget how important the circle of life is to us all.
*Cuts to bad traffic, the summation of all human evil.*

Im not evil >:(
@@thephenom724 Its a joke, dude. I'm just amused that the first thing they showed was bad traffic.

This was caused everything we have done for destroying our nature
We will not do it again
I really wish they kept this. I actually liked this film.
I agree. Too bad it's all Disney CEO Bob Iger's fault that he had to get rid of it like that.
@@andyhirth2271 They Might Replace Lion King with Zootopia (MY ALL TIME FAVORITE!)
@@glh2000 Yep, but will the brand new Zootopia show have a lot to do with teaching people about how important the environment really is?
@@andyhirth2271 No, I Mean Rafiki's Planet watch might get replace with Zootopia Land.
I'll never understand why Cam Clarke voices Simba in every other animated media except The Lion Guard. Why didn't they just cast him instead of Matthew Broderick in the first place?
*humans are canon in the lion king*
Holy shit does that mean pride rock might have to deal with humans, tourists, hunters and poachers?
I flat out just thought that Humans weren’t canon in the first place.
Humans are extinct in TLK continuity, I think...
Christopher Robin Hake I agree that mufasa may have told simba about humans as if they were a long gone species
@Justin Miranda that show is irrelevant. its a damn little kids show that was made off a five dollar budget. were talking about the movies here.
@Justin Miranda if they were it would ruin everything. so its good they arent canon.

Pumbba:DAM!
Timón: HEY! Watch your language Pumbba!!
😂😂😂😂😂👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
I remember when my parents and I first saw that. My dad couldn't stop laughing at that line lol

Nor do I when I first saw this at EPCOT. Miss this ride.
I love that duo 😂😂😂😂
I bursted out laughing in the theater when I first heard this and people were looking at me. LOL
Obro Productions Same here
I love how they reproduced the original feel of the movie.... I'm looking at you Simba's Pride.
Simba's Pride made SImba even sexier... or so my friend says
Of course I'm right! Simba is damn sexy in the second movie!
Lion king 2 wasnt bad.
@@ilovelegos2000 It's a wonderful sequel.
I think the budget was the main reason for why the animation in the sequel is different from the original film.
Hearing that soundtrack just made me so emotional. All of those feelings rushing through me. The Lion King truly is a masterpiece. And this is why Simba is my favorite Disney character, he is so passionate, wise, and heartfelt, all from his Father who lives in him.
I'm a movie buff, disney fan and the Lion King is my favorite of them all...... How did I have no idea this existed?
omg ikr just found it now LOL
This actually makes me tear up, we need to help the earth or else in the future we won't have any earth left
We won't last another thousand years the way we're going.
@@bugloverspiderlover8490 Yah sadly ... we really won't because a lot of people don't care about the Earth
Cool
This takes taking care of the earth way to far
No matter what we do to the earth, it will still be here. It’s really ourselves we’re killing, along with many other species.
Cam Clarke and Matthew Broderick's voice sound exactly alike for Simba. You can't literally tell the difference. I don't know why they couldn't have Cam Clarke voice Simba in the Lion Guard, but yet he voiced one of the birds in the show.
That always bugged me too. They brought in of all people, Rob Lowe to voice him. Now, I'm sure he's a good actor, he was in shows like The West Wing. But his voice just doesn't fit Simba AT ALL.
@@BlazeHeartPanther Sheesh.
My god does this video make me wanna cry or what?? Some of these clips played with emotional and epic background music just makes ME feel emotional 😢 ☺️
But on the other hand, simba somehow knows a lot about people..😕 how does he know about people all of a sudden?🤔😳😅
Hazel Blaze A.k.a: Jasmine Pattwell Well at the time the Timon and Pumbaa series was probably considered canon which had lots of humans
Maybe he learned about humans from his father before Scar killed him.
Hazel Blaze A.k.a: Jasmine Pattwell I always get goosebumps. Also it could’ve been the same magic that makes mufasa appear in the clouds
It's Disney logic lol
Heard this was taken out
Pumbaa: Dam!
Timon: Hey! Watch your language, Pumbaa.
Kathleen Dalton (Laughing)🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣.
I busted a gut laughing at that line!
I also can't believe they actually made that joke. XD
Oh my that was my favorite part too
XD
Pumbaa: No timon look.
Timon: Wow!, Pumbaa we gotta think way BIGGER.
Future generations should learn from this video so that they too can make a change to protect and preserve the earth and the Circle of Life for many generations to see and experience as well. While we in the present are still playing our part in preserving nature, we still want to teach it to our children. Then their children, and their children's children. So that life on this beautiful earth can still he around and be awed by many generations to come.
So what happened in Sonic SatAM and Sonic Underground (Robotnik taking over) never happens on OUR Earth.
The more better we live the less we die and more of us will come more human mean more ground to build on
What we need is to advanced our technology to space and find a earth like planet to preserve the animals without humans
When Simba roared to get Timon and Pumbaa’s attention, he got the audience’s attention also. It was akin to Bill Nye the Science Guy on the John Oliver show cussing up a storm, telling people to wake up and smell the climate change.
The sad reality of our world😔😞😩😫
Rise up gang weed gamers
Broken Matt Hardy [#DELETE] But even then, we try to make a difference in the world!
If we don't save our world then the planet Earth will be doom for us all
yes and we should stop using cars that pollute the atmosphere
Damn
I miss hearing Matthew Broderick as the voice of Simba.
Yeah, his voice was just magic😻🥰🔥💕✨
SuperSonicWarrior93 I think that’s Cam Clarke.
Corey Lucas If that's the case, he does a great job of sounding like Matthew.
The same guy who played in another masterpiece: Inspector Gadget the Movie
Well G'98 killed his career
This film is a little ironic coming from Disney...who destroyed miles of habitats for Disney world.
Disney don’t give a shit. They make money off oblivious people who just come in and think “wow Disney cares”. It’s just the tip of the iceberg. :(
Also it was only a few miles of dense empty swamp which there is an abundance of in Florida. And Disney like almost all companies dont care about anything but making profit and they typically hide that restless greed by trying to actively show how socially, politically, and ecologically righteous they are.
Yeah, kinda messed up to be telling people who can't afford anything to "start helping out more" when the company who dropped the million dollars to make the film didn't do jack shit for the environment they're promoting.
still less worse than nestle
or people that have 5 children pluss
or companys that build on new land instad of renovating old buildings
i dont say its good that they build parks
but in the bic picture its just a small thing
war traveling and plastic have the bigest impact
if the disney parks only would be reached by train and if they would use no plastic strafs and reduce it where ever possible ..that would help a lot in the end cause the time people are there they dont would use any cars and use less plastic than normally
they weren't habitats they where orange tree groves
Man seeing that beautiful majestic Bald Eagle take flight like that still gets to me to this day man it was heart touching and awesome and this film just shows how important the planet is to us.
I guess Simba learned about humans from his father before he was killed by Scar. Even though he never got to see them.
Kathryn Hill, well he did encounter a poacher in Timon and Puumba.
They did? I’ve never heard of Timon and Pumbba.
Nani Foa'ii, yeah, I believe they even had a comic based on the show. Rafiki had a nephew that hated chores. Timon and Puumba were always being hunted by some human named Quint. It came out in the 1990s, there were even some cheetahs named Cheetoh and I forget the other. Timon even got turned into a bug in one episode.
The hyenas also made an appearance as did Simba himself. Quint who has several cameos appeared as a Roman king or something and threw Simba against a Scar-looking lion.
Ok thank you! I hadn’t heard of it because I was born 2003
Nani Foa'ii, the series is out there for a Lion King property. In this clip, according to the description, Quint or the red nosed human gets tricked by Puumba and Timon who are dressed up like a princess. It is their take on Robin Hood. czcams.com/video/U96AHfCKOzs/video.html
I can't believe how dumb Quint is.

I'm 21 years old and have never been to Disney World, the Lion King is my favorite Disney film of all time so to watch this was a real treat. I never knew it was made and as far as I know, they've never showed it at Disneyland so I didn't know I missed anything. 2020 I'm definitely going to Disney World.
Me too!
Sadly this attraction has just recently been retired... :(
Which sucks! It's still an important message that needs to be shared from generation to generation - totally undisney related but, at the end of that movie Ferngully: The Last Rainforest, when it says "For our children and our children's children" THAT MEANS PASS IT ON FROM GENERATION TO GENERATION! I'm sure a lot of classic Disney fans as well as new ones haven't seen it ESPECIALLY if they haven't been to DisneyWorld. I live in Southern California, and my UC is 20 minutes away from Disneyland. I have gone 5-6 times and they have never played this @ the park. Thank God for CZcams but, I need to hurry up and get my butt to DisneyWorld. I've never been and they are already retiring attractions I know nothing about! :(
This was mostly played in Epcot.
I saw this at age 10 or 11 .I was lucky to see Disney world/Epcot when I was young
This was great because not only did it not paint humans as irredeemable polution makers but actually says we learned our lesson and this movie is here to remind us of that lesson. Now that's what i call Disney.
Omg my simba!!!!!!!!! He looks just like his daddy! I'm so jealous I wanted to go but couldn't! Sweet animation! I absolutley love matthew broderick
This isn't Matthew Broderick. It's Cam Clarke.
OMG that was cam clarke!!?!?!? He's amazing
Wrong actor voicing Simba
Cam Clarke
I know right his dad has taught him well

Screw a large sum of what those critics say about environmental films being preachy, we need to encourage others(especially kids) to care about the environment and preserve and protect endangered species
Timon: We are NOTHING like humans!
No offense Sora.
Sora: None taken. We just won’t include your world in Kingdom Hearts III.

@@BG_NC Thank you.
@Anders Borgman What do you mean?
They meant that since no studio really uses 2 D anymore, the movie probably wouldn’t be as successful as you’d need it to be. But I’d DEFINITELY go see a movie with animation like that. I miss the 2D animation a lot.
Plus love your profile pic
Being given a moral speech by Best Boy Simba somehow makes it feel better
Never thought I would see Simba roaring at Timun

Why does Simba look so much like his father omg XD
Kiara LionessTM {Kiara Fray Fairchild} well he is his son so he would look like his dad.
A son that looks like his father. What a coincidence!
Genetic
Everybody trying to be a comedic smart ass in this comment section but, obviously Kiara Lioness TM is pointing out they drew him more majestically. My mom has always said she's always loved Mufasa's animated build than Simba's because they drew him more majestic & powerful - He looks like the King. To me Simba looks more like his father in this short than in the animated film! This opinion was brought to you by a Lion King Lover since 1996.
I see Sarabi in him too.

Sometimes I wish people could take these messages to heart, especially the powerful and rich folks.
You, know one of these days. If humans cannot save the Earth or bother they can be sure to damn well Avenge it, then The Great Titan will tip the scales to balance himself, if he collects all six Infinity Stones.
He shall make the Earth perfectly balanced, as all things should be.
This is the planet of the sun. We have to make sure that no species or resources get wiped out.
@@fredv6237 Yes, maybe thanos was doing the right thing after all.
disney needs to release this on youtube or disney+ or something
I propose two methods on how this attraction should be brought back:
1) Design a theater area at Rafiki's Planet Watch in Disney's Animal Kingdom & show it here (A slim argument could also be made that you could show it inside the Tree of Life by alternating it with It's Tough to Be A Bug)
2) Include the show as a DVD extra feature on any future re-releases of The Lion King (or Sequels, Spin-Offs, Remake, etc.)
Removing this really shows how much Disney Corp just doesn't care anymore. It seems money is all that matters to them. Sigh. I wish Walt and Roy lived to stop the evil their company became.
Also. They need to bring back 21st Century Fox and Lucasfilm into non-Disney owned companies again.
Walt is alive just frozen
I mean they still have rides like this for example living with the land and the audio that plays on rafki's conversation center

The lion king teaches such an important lesson, don't take more than you need.
I get how Simba might know about the early history of mankind, but how does he know about more recent human activity? As far as we know there are no humans anywhere near the Pridelands.
The animation in this is so damn good I wish lion king 2 and lion guard had this animation.
If it was Kimba/Leo explaining about the human it will make sense.
This is more like a nature document than a movie
It was an attraction at Epcot in Disney World and it was intended to teach people about conservation and the consequences of our choices even if we don't see them.
May be overly preachy but I still loved this film plus the environment & animals are important to protect. It's a shame they had to get rid of this film but if they decide to bring it back, why not at Rafiki's Planet Watch at Disney's Animal Kingdom?
