Nice looking chipper. I got one, of a similar size, last month, and it does great work around the farm. It, and the 22 ton log splitter, make for an unbeatable team, especially when a chainsaw joins the crew :) . The only thing that I wood change on mine is to make it a tool free system, so I can clear those pesky log jams without having to run off for the tool box :) .
Thanks, yeah was thinking about making something for both chutes as well as the draw bar which I remove to get closer to the trailer, so many projects so little,,,,,,,,, cheers
@@whathappensintheshed they are a great machine for the price. I put some big hinges and 2 over centre latches on the exit shute on mine, makes a huge difference when there is a blockage.
@@whathappensintheshed I went the other way and mounted mine on a small boat trailer so I can tow it on the road, I turned the outlet to the side so I can chip into a bulky bag or spray it everywhere.

I think a chunker would be better for your gasifier. There are lots of plans available. Fines will foul the gasifier.
Yeah, the chipper isn't for the gasifier, we use it to make mulch, just wanted to try it out, plan a is to build a chopper of sorts, cheers
What are you going to do when the blades need replacing? Are replacements available ?
Not sure, hope to sharpen both cutting edges a few times, the blades are reversible, then will have a look around, cheers
