  • In this video we demonstrate how you can stop showing those annoying NULLs at the start of your table calculation - when calculating year over year growth using a table calculation, the first year is always NULL because there's no prior year in the data with which to calculate the growth. Hiding the NULLs saves space and cleans up the look of your visualization and dashboard. We demonstrate how to do this using a simple filter on the measure, and also using a more complex level of detail calculation to lock to a specific time frame and give you a header that will help the right data show, and irrelevant data stay hidden.

Let’s say you have two columns 2018 and 2019. You have sales for both time periods. You want to calculate the difference using the table calculation. You want to keep the sales data for both years. How do you hide the 2018 difference column without hiding the 2018 sales column. Thanks in advance,

Hello, thanks for the video, one question, is there any way to replace 0 with nulls? I want to get the average of sale by hotels and there are some hotels without sales and as the value of sale is 0, is affecting to the average so what I want to do is to replace 0 with nulls. Thanks in advance

The part with code too small and quick. There were a lot of clicking that as a novice I could not follow, although I paused and rewinded frequently. So can do method 1 and 2 but not 3.
