(ko-fi.com/pixi...)
So her son got sent to the tree plane, and spent his whole life looking for his mother, only to find her as a child, and get torn away from her again. Thatâs what I got from this.
Definitely!
Could you explain this for me?
Everett was still a fetus when he became an Absentee, I thought.
@@thundergunner4284 theory that the Everett that Virginia met when she was in "Wonderland" with all the special trees was actually her son, but grown up
@@softpiglet so, was Everett removed from reality in trade for her life? Since she no longer had Everett after âsinkingâ
Okay, ignoring how beautiful and emotional the rest of this short is, there's one thing that stuck out to me. While Virginia is in this place the special tree initially takes her, she describes the trees as extending infinitely in each direction, reversing itself every time, with the branches and stumps connecting onto each other. This might be a stretch, but given the shape of the special tree, it feels like these trees are meant to reflect that of the neurons in our brain. With each of the trees flashes being the neurons firing. To make an even larger stretch, considering that in ALCATRAZATTACK Alcatraz island is shown to be a living cell, it could be possible that these instances make up a larger organism.
The last episode of the series will just be the USA coming alive and destroying the world
The trees are probably scales from a giant snake that grew below USA and more probably grow below every country or continent
Good take! I didn't think of that
Iâm gonna be honest I think youâre not only onto something I think this is the best explanation of what the special tree even is since inter dimensional trees just doesnât make sense but a cosmic brain seems to fit a lot more with all of this only thing I canât figure out is what is the trees bending?
I like this one.
I like it a lot.
This is honestly really sad also I realized the reason the first lobotomy failed is probably because her brain was backwards like the rest of her organs
Oh shoot

That settles it. This is the most depressing episode yet.

I have a theory.
The baby powder is supposed to prevent trees from growing, considering the fact that the "powder" was what formed the barrier between each layer of trees. Maybe if that barrier is destroyed, all the dimmensions linked by the trees will merge.

Why is no one talking about how Virginia's son is named after Hugh Everett, a real-life physicist who developed the quantum theory of many worlds. Such great attention to details!
Because he probably isnât, thereâs a lot of people in history
My first thought was that it was a play on the word "ever". Like Virginia thought, there's this guy I'm spending literal forever with, I should name him something... EVERett. Idk why, but this makes so much sense to me. That's how a child's mind works. And it makes even more sense with the theory it's her child, and he's been spending his eternity in that plane. Of laughter, of love.
The music was a great choice for this one, it really sold that depressing nostalgia towards the end. Top notch.

people are pinning the lobotomyâs relative failure on her organs being reversed but honestly given what a lobotomy *is* i feel like even the wrong part of the brain would have a far more disastrous effect on her. IMO this, along with her date of death being two decades before her re-appearance at the washington monument, goes along with whatever the damn hell was going on with the washington monument in particular. It clearly did *something* to her and the others whoâd been âknocked downâ by its music, given she was kept conscious and bleeding out for several decades, and she described the others whoâd fallen as âalmost alive.â I feel like whatever changes the monument did to her also rendered her brain-body dichotomyâs relationship to human consciousness fundamentally different from a humans or at least made her brain-meat a whole lot harder to properly mutilate.
also iâm not certain on what reality she was given the lobotomy *in* because it kinda sounded like she made it back to âherâ reality? so unless the organ shifting was a product of tree-based âtravelâ rather than merely a difference of human anatomy between dimensions that doesnât sound quite rightâŠ
The difference in human anomtonomy between dimensions isn't a result of the trees. It's actually just a relatively common trope, at least in story's that deal with dimensional shifting. In my experience, every story that's involved shifting between alternative dimensions that are very similar to the characters own has used the difference of organs as the tell-tale sign that they're from another dimension that's similar yet not the same.
Interesting, tree based travel eh? I have been getting a lot of disclosure as of late to use the trees around me for portals. Still not sure I want to mess with that just yet if this is something similar to that.
@@lego007guym8 Yeah, thats the purpose of the second paragraph. My main issue is people assuming shes still got the brain durability of a normal human after being squashed between dimensions by the indestructible foliage twice, but its always a possibility it was either just regular medical screw-ups or a result specifically attributable to the organ thing (though⊠again, i got the impression she was lobotomized after being sent *back* which would make her organs the right way around again -or rather that the doctors would be trained with the matching organ layout- but Iâm actually pretty sure *Iâm* getting something wrong with that) and iâm just reading to much into this lmao
I think another important note is that its 2003, and they tried giving her a lobotomy, which adds to the fjcked up nature of the story as apparently they are still doing labotomies in this world so late.
I think it's safe to say she had the lobotomy in the Deanverse, there's no way she managed to travel using the trees *multiple times*

I hope this helps as Other theories in the comments are suggesting that from this line, is that Virginia's son Everett lives in the wonderland among the other special tress that she mentioned. It's even been assumed that the Everett she met has a child is the same person, her son, only now he is older and guides her through the wonderland. I am thinking He is not fully human because the parents are from different universes as well as being stuck in the wonderland must have changed him as well.
@@Sasu123456789x1 I came here to theorise that as well. I think the Everett she met in Wonderland is her son due to Tree shenanigans.
In some horrible sense, I was actually relieved when I heard she had a second lobotomy.
Imagine the guilt she constantly lived with for ruining the lives of her friends, for losing the man she loved + her baby all just to get back home and find out that her parents are dead.
Not to mention the trauma she must feel for having to wander through some indescribable horror for years to stumble across alternate worlds where she can never feel quite at home.
At least in her final moments, it seems like she was happy, drawing herself smiling and reunited with everyone she loved. Lobotomy is a terrible thing, but I imagine living with the constant guilt and trauma all your life would be even worse. In some strange way the lobotomy was the best thing to happen to her
This is the most fucking depressing episode of the series so far
Agreed
Throughout this video I realized something. You have done something that no other videos of your type has done. You have made me care for these characters. When rockefeller died I felt sad for him. And now when Virginia gone through all of this I felt sorry for her and want to help her. Incredible job!
Currently identified video discrepancies* I have been able to find:
0:28 - 0:33 The other parent seem to be crudely drawn, which is somewhat reasonable seeing as the drawings are childish, but the foster parents depiction does not look human at all.
2:15 The mention of baby power has been made a few times, most noticeably in Rushmore revenge.
2:24 Virginia states that there are lots of people and one says the trees are not trees. While the Washington wormhole is relevant here, what's interesting is that in Rockefeller tragedy this line is briefly seen in the subtitles but is redacted for an unexplained reason, yet here it goes into full detail. Who or what is being allowed access to such sensitive information? Or rather, Why is this more sensitive than anything else up to this point?
4:30 These "Climbers" seem to vaguely resemble what little of Virginia's foster parents we can see.
Something to note is that from the beginning up to this point, Virginia made sure to give her friends faces, then left them blank, then gave them scribbles for faces. In fact, almost everyone except for Everett seems to have no recognizable features other than Virginia. They are just blank outlines.
5:51 when you think about the previous information, there is something about the orphanage that must have happened involving the tree things.
6:34 When Virginia visits the tree on the Rockefeller tower, it does resemble a woman, and she appears to visit three times, possibly once a year. In Rockefeller tragedy, we can see a bolt of lighting emitting from the tree. What this means in relation to this video is up for debate.
8:45 What exactly Lennard is protecting her from is not stated, but given the previous information, it may be the climbers or the government itself.
10:23 This relates to Washington Wormhole's Washington Standard Operation. Interestingly, it would seem that the bodies and mechanisms were indeed serving a purpose relating to the disappearances, being a sort of "Fertilizer" for the tree. Who or what set this up is unknown, but seeing the trees are capable of apparently influencing people, it wouldn't be hard to believe the purpose of the monument WAS to do this exact thing. On a side note, this might have also been the purpose of the Giza towers?
12:07 If the Washington Wormholes disapearees are indeed the people who Virginia was with, that would explain the number going from 20 people to 19. Little Everette was 20. If he is the same Everette from earlier, he is searching for his mother, and may possibly be what Lennard was trying to protect her from. This has its own flaws, as while Maize states he is the 20th and inhabits the forest of the Washington zone, it would not explain how who ever found and documented this is aware of this, and why there is almost no mention of a forest of trees in any other video, let alone why they seem to be inactive.
13:33 Giza was also seen to have numerous trees rise out of the ground. Interestingly, this would imply that the mothership in Starry Sphinx possibly directly caused all the trees to start rising, not just in Egypt, but around the world.
13:54 The supposed date when she returns is also the same year the monument opens a side door to let something in/out, and the tree warps the tower to generate lightning.
14:26 Throughout the video, there is barley anything happening in the background, but here you can faintly hear the sound of what seems to be a vehicle nearby. However, based on what she is saying, it is possible that since she is backwards, not only was the lobotomy mentioned in the beginning not being effective as her biology was backwards, but it was part of a larger plan to keep her from doing something. She says for someone to remember her, implying that whoever it is that is trying to silence her is not only trying to get her to forget everything, but to get people to forget her as well.
14:55 Now, in the paintings of the right life, people have faces again. Everyone looks happy in all of them, but in together Virginia seems to be pondering. This might just be me though.
15:45 She is stated to have died in 1980 at the age of 59. She says the date was around or later than 2003 earlier. This could imply one of two things; One being that Virginia was indeed forgotten and had all of her life erased by whatever is trying to keep her silent by altering her death statement, or two; The tree, when not conducting lightning, in addition to sending you to the forest, also alters time and space to replace bodies with dead ones at a later date in time.
There may be other explanations, but that's what makes sense to me based on what I have observed. What do you think?
*Video Discrepancies: A personal term I use to refer to when, in analog horror type series, something happens that does not belong or should be with the presented content. IE Local 58's emergency broadcast hoax, Gemini Home entertainment's Games for children's section on feeding the woods, Monument Mythos Crown canyon's canyon crown appearance, etc.
Wait, im what video did the Maize thing happen? Was it the Maize one or another video where he shows up?
Theory: The government made those mechanism to take back people, because they said that everyone that she knew were dead and that she was in 2003 so she time traveled to her original timeline but to the future, the 1980 dead might be false

was not expecting to cry watching this, but the paintings at the end really got me
I think I have a good timelineâŠ
1921: Virginia is born
December of 1934: Virginia attempts to put the ornament/bear on the special tree, sending her to another dimension, and her parents abandoning her, forcing her to go to an orphanage
1939: Virginia leaves the orphanage and finds her parents separated, she goes to the Rockefeller Center for an answer from the tree, who tells her to come back in three years
1942, 1945, 1948: Virginia comes back to the tree every three years
1948: Virginia meets Leonard. They fall in love, and make Everett. She trades the unborn for a chance to go home.
1974: Virginia returns from her personal hell, and is given a lobotomy, which fails
1977: Virginia gets another lobotomy. After this, she never speaks again
1978: Virginia begins drawing in the last years of her life
1980: Virginia dies age 59
August 17, 2003: Virginiaâs perfectly intact body is found at the Washington Monument
There you go.
Remember that there is now the Washington zone. Special trees all around Washington DC so I presume that DC is now uninhabitable. Same with the area around the Sphinx and Mount Rushmore. The Alcatraz Zone has reached Texas and Canyoncrawlers roam the Grand Canyon.
And humanity is supposed to be a true force of mass destruction?
Given that Canyongalans where made because the US gave a sentient statue a magic sword and a hitlist, the Alcatraz Zone was caused by the island being turned into a rapidly replicating tumor by radiation treatments. Iâd reckon combine that with climate change and Mazieâs fuckery weâd qualify,at least insofar as we have a tendency to slam our collective dicks in the car door with anomalies.
Remember this is from the universe of the Monument mythos, *OUR* world might still be on grave danger because of those special trees.
My heart goes out to this fictitious character. Those paintings at the end, although childish, are crushing in the context of the series.
Virginia deserved that right life.
To me the "Special tree" seems more like a reference to branches of the tree of life found in most cultures. The "Trees" are banches that both hold up and extend into the realities they are connected to, and as such the branches connect to other realms/realities as well, and shaking one branch causes many do to so, resaulting in things like the "special tree incident"
These shakings are probably why this world seems so weird, as the interview said the line between each row of trees (what I am taking as multiple relams/realities) is very thin, so the shaking of the 'trees' disturbs these thin barriers, letting all sorts of odd things happen that just shouldn't.
Also this video implies some kind of infinite time loop, with a figure looking like one that tried to climb the trees while (what im calling) inbetween realms.
I dont know how it works, as it seems Virginia is stuck in a time loop herself, and not the world around her, yet it seems outside viewers are capable of noticing this time loop (the government starting to follow her), but the loops are not constant and only seem to begin when she goes near one of the 'trees'. Is it possible the 'trees' are trying to keep the girl away so that it does not get shaken again or to prevent another clashing of realms?
Its obvious that Virginia is not belonging to her world, with her able to perceive other realms and possibly even contact it, meaning she is bridging the thin layer between realities. almost seems as if the 'trees' or the world itself is trying to correct this mistake, but is unable to self actualize. Kind of like a error in a printer, now the world is being printed wrong and in broken bits.
Came back to edit this in-
What if the trees are people? Here me out here.
They seem sentient, the 'other world' or inbetween the people that tried to climb them would be morphed into being as long as the trees, and these being were later seen talking to Virginia and it seemingly had the power of the tree, the trees seem to sometimes 'speak' in a way and have a untirely unusual bark (the way its described honestly kind of sounds like very stretched and dried leather in a way) thats possibly human skin, The trees are seemingly fully flexible and can seemingly cause certain events or react to certain things at will (or atleast at the behest of another force), and finally Virginia seems speculative while at the same time suggesting that along with those who are stretched to match the 'tree' (maybe the trees take people as a form of bark?) Are those who are turned into the fine layer of dust between rows of 'trees'
This would help explain why the smell of the dust is at the same events where the 'trees'/their branches pop up, its all essentially made up of the same thing coming from the same place.
For every question there may be a answer to, a thousand more pop up.
With you saying the trees could be people, first look at the structure. They sing like humans, reach out with an arm and hand like a human, bend over like a human, and shake more by themselves like humans.
Not to mention what happened to the climbers. Notice how they look awfully "branchy"?
@Piotr NEVER!
it would also make sense with the freedom statue and how she was wearing the girls torso as like armor
The trees are most definitely people...right?? Evey time I think I am getting a grip on what's happening I watch the next video & am totally lost again lol...cant wait to finish season 2 so I can go watch Nexpo break it down for me
There's a lot to unpack in this video and a lot of connections to many other videos and new information too. The ending is a direct connection with the ending of the Washington Wormhole video. But I just wanna point out how good of a job the narrator does when retelling these events. The intonation, the pace, the appropriate emotion, it's perfect. She's a grown woman but the way she tells the story to me makes it sound like she's still a child, at least mentally, and that makes all these events so much more sad and horrible to me.
The Virginia who died in 1980 was the MM Virginia, who got mind swapped with the Virginia from our world. That means MM Virginia had our worldâs Virginiaâs baby Everett, hence the mentioning of Virginiaâs son as if he were already born. Our worldâs Virginia laid crying at the bottom of the Monument, while MM Virginia left and had Everett.
Mind swapped?
@@thejbo777 Yes, as in both Virginias travelled to the monument at the same time, fell from the elevator at the same time, and travelled between realities. That's what that entire bit about "leaving" her body and "moving through the ground" meant.
They werenât mind swapped they got switched with the kids rewatch Rockefeller tragedy because it tells you.
Here the thing, could the Everett is the Air Force One Angle?
Holy moly, Leonard was the "Senior Advisor" in the Lincolnlooker
@Bazukin Belyugovich Leonard also gives an interview in STARRYSPHINX.
@Bazukin Belyugovich Uh. Yeah, that's what the first guy said.
The Description DOES say that Everett Arnoldson isn't fully human. So maybe?
And Leonard being the Senior Advisor does track, at least to me.
I want to hug Virginia shes been through so much

now you can
So, the version of Everett she was with who took care of her was actually her own son? So, that explains what he meant by the phrase "you could be her. anyone could be her". Imagine how tired Everett must've been to have been there his whole life.
So if Everrett is a humanoid that lives in the Washington forest, does that mean that heâs part âspecial treeâ?
I think the man she named everett actually was her son who she named after the man she met in the forest, and she's just in some sort of loop
@@jonarhax3388 but the description specifically says humanoid, so heâs clearly not fully human.

im confused too so you get blasted into another world once for fall but are just "Dead"
@@Yungwolfo I think your body is dead, but you are still in it. Like total paralysis. True hell.
The tree told Virginia that she'd have to trade one life for her own. To me I thought that meant that she needed to bring someone to sacrifice to save her life. This would be similar to how the grand canyon guardians work where people are allowed to survive in exchange for bringing more people to die. I don't understand why Virginia didn't understand that and just kept going back alone, but it was only when she came with the baby that the tree told her what to do. It would seem obvious what was going to happen to the baby but that's only because we have the additional context that she wouldn't have had.
Given all that I would think that the other 18 people in the monument would have been people who were "traded" to the tree by someone else for something that they wanted.
@@corysmith9975 keep in mind, i think most of the finer details of her narration are muddled because she's already gone through a lobotomy at this point. She would've probably fleshed out the whole meeting Leonard and the talking Rockefeller tree ordeal better if she had all her mental faculties in working order.
@@corysmith9975 My interpretation, and since these Trees seem to be quite fucking cruel, is that "trade one life for your own" literally meant trading realities. To the Trees, a person's reality IS their "life"; Virginia was offered a chance to swap her current life with her boyfriend and child for her previous life back in the other/our reality.
That said, it doesn't explain why the Tree only helped when she was pregnant, but nor does your interpretation explain why 18 other people would willingly go into the Washington monument just because their friend asked. I'm assuming, based on the weird basket/external winch that in the other reality, there is no observation platform. (The real monument just has a regular elevator inside and on the top floor are windows looking out over DC).
This wasn't scary, that was just exceptionally depressing. It's not horror, it's tragedy in a world where interdimensional disasters are as common as natural one's. Just very very sad.
id argue two lobotomies against your will is true horror
Imagine if this whole thing ends with Alex saying that heâs sending all these tapes and videos to somewhere the government will never find, but everyone will be able to see it, and he sends them through a tree to our world
He kind of did....in the series finale. See for yourself.đ

So, looking back at this after ALCATRAZ ALWAYS, itâs heavily implied that one of the creatures (either the debate demon or the monument monster) became Tree and Serpent from MONUMENTMYTHOLOGY. Now, since one of these creatures turned into Tree, and Tree is the entity that talks to Virginia, it is possible that Modern Day Virginia (who turned into the Debate Demon) talked to herself from another universe. It could also just be Walt Disney (who I think is the Monument Monster) tho, idk.

@@brodiesmith4087 how interesting... The plot is growing
1980 is when she fell in the washington monument and was transported back to her own dimension. Who knows how long that took. And she says she lay in the monument for what felt like years. Maybe the 1980 death declaration is from the bizarro universe she was in
The Virginias were transported to alternate dimensions through the rockefeller tree, and then this one supposedly returned to her own world again, through the washington monument tree
This video is from the monument mythos universe, and so the world where this testimony was given, and where "Everett" is now, and where Virginia died in 1980, are also in that same universe
This could be a few things, and it's confusing to try and piece together, but I don't think the Virginia that gave this testimony is the one that lived in the MM universe, but was channeled into her mind after the 'failed' lobotomy

Ok so, I'll try to piece together what exactly happened to Virginia, the one that we get the story from.
I'll refer to the Virginia from the Nixonverse as VA and the one from the Deanverse as VB.
VA and VB go to Rockefeller center to hang up an ornament on the (special) Christmas tree, they then touch the tip
VA spends a long time in Wonderland and meets someone named Everett
VA is put into an orphanage until she turns 18 and leaves.
VA goes to the Washington monument at 27, pregnant with Leonard Morlin's child who she calls Everett, and when she's dropped her mind/soul eventually enters VB's body, with the baby seemingly disappearing.
VB's mind enters VA's body and goes on to possibly reunite with Leonard, then they have two children in the DV, Maya and Nathaniel, then dies naturally in 1980. One of her children may be the baby VA had with Leonard, or maybe that baby just disappeared.
VA is teleported out of the Washington Monument in 2003 with Everett still missing, then is lobotomized and recounts her life.
Notes:
1- Why was VA lobotomized in 2003? That seems too cruel for the Nixonverse but right in line with the Deanverse, even though she seemingly returned to her home dimension even if it was in the body of VB. Is it even possible to cross the dimensions if your copy has already died/doesn't exist anymore? Possibly she lay in VB's body for many years, before being teleported back into the DV and through time, like the Washington copy showing up in the Delaware River in 1976 while the original version was turned into the Horned Serpent, both in the DV.
2- What happened to the baby Everett? Did he eventually grow up as one of VB's kids, or was he lost to Wonderland and spent his entire life there, before managing to meet his mother when she first crossed over?
Oh, god, that hurts. Iâm gonna cry a little, I think. Lobotomy is something that freaks me out a lot and seeing Virginia have to go through that⊠god.
I was holding in tears at the end, jeez that was a long video, almost felt like 500 years.
It seems that the trees cause some sort of corruption to different dimensions, and take them over. Virginia likely was witnessing the beginning of this when she was taken in the helicopters. It could also be what's happening towards the end of Stary Sphynx
I wonder if 1980 and the Maize PC incident was a preview of that⊠and also if the Great Horned Serpent or the Alcatraz colossal single-celled organism had anything to do with it.
@@DARTHNECRION Great Horned Serpent? I think I may have missed that one.
Update, rewatched the Maize video and remember it now, never actually understood it was supposed to be an actual creature in universe.
The fact that Virginia kept away from telling her memories at the orphanage implies that beyond incomprehensible phenomena and perplexing events that changed her and the life of everybody around forever, human experience is still a different kind of evil considering that Virginia most likely was desolated from the "Normal" people of that alternate universe. The feels, man.

All in all, fantastic content, & I eagerly await your future uploads
This is the saddest thing you've made Alex, good job. I nearly shed a tear at the end.
There's a lot of analog horror out there of various qualities but you've taken it to another level. You're not just giving us an alternate reality but you're filling in the gaps about what exactly IS alternate about that reality. And, on top of that, you're giving us actual characters we can empathize with. This one is especially heartbreaking because horror movies are full of people making idiotic decisions but here we have Virginia who did something perfectly innocent and something any of us could have done and it shattered her life, and the lives of many others. Really, really well done, and this is one I've come to look forward to updates from.
I think at the Washington monument two Virginias switched bodies, the other one discovered Everett and named him Nathaniel, later had a second kid Maya. That is how she could had kids despite being lobotomized here. Not sure if the dates match though, and who was that Everett she met in wonderland?
But the real question is what is that music trees produce, seemingly at will, as it is not constant around them and is only present when they were first discovered by Rockefeller and in the Washington monument.
I think the Everett that she spends time in tree land is the same Everett that she sacrificed in the Washington monument as in the description it says that Everett inhabits the âWashington Zoneâ
I was thinking about the very same thing, it seems that in the mythos there are two main dimensions: The one which is completely alien to us (The one to which Virginia was spirited to, lets call it the Rockefeller President World) and one that is more akin to our own (Akin is used very loosely here, it seems that Rockefeller was an oil tycoon too, but lobotomies are not used anymore*) To which Virginia went back to.
*Lobotomies are in fact still used, but on extremely rare occasions: either to treat a rare and fatal form of epilepsy or as a very desperate last resort to treat some mental illness that don't respond to neither medication, electroshock or more humane forms of psychosurgeries AND the patients is an unavoidable danger to himself and others. Virginia seems to suffers from a deep depression, due to having outlasted everyone she cared for, blaming herself for the tree tragedy and killing Everett. Also, having the knowledge of the Rockefeller President World and to treat it as fact probably gave the idea she was also delusional.
What i meant to say with this long winded explanation that there is a probability that the lobotomy was not necessarily to silence her, but a form of last resort treatment for her: for starters, she was able to give and record an interview about her experiences, instead of it getting censored.
So, correct me if Iâm wrong but, hereâs my interpretation:

This video felt like it was 500 years long, in a good way. The depths of its sadness made it hard to believe its only 16 1/2 minutes long
I think I get it why in the washington monument that there was only 19 people were found because everett is still in the womb. My theory is that the baby did not get transported with her because it needs longer time to teleport because there was no alternate everet which was a baby so he needs to take a long time to respawn again
Remember that one line from the RUSHMOREREVENGE video? Where they refer to it smelling like baby powder after the incident being sprinkled on there ever so often?

"they told me it was 2003" but the end card says she died in 1980 what does this mean??
2003 was a big year in the monument mythos, i wouldn't be surprised
I'm thinking she was reported dead in 1980, then when she was found near the monument in 2003 it was kept a secret. So her death is officially 1980 as far as anyone outside of the government knows.
