For me, learning Pandeiro or tabla would be cool.
I love the timbre of those instruments.
Playing the bagpipes is an excellent way to get to know your neighbors... In a 15 mile radius.. and see how they look when they are screaming at you to stop..
But hey, great way to start a party without needing to send invitations so not all bad
Oh god, my uncle always played this bagpipe cd when we'd go over to visit. Even worse, it was a greatest hits kind of thing and would have "Ave Maria" and "Country Roads" and other such songs that just should never have been adapted to bagpipe. I have a weird love/hate thing with it, too. I went to Edinburgh last year and heard them played live and there's something about the bagpipes in open air that makes it tolerable and maybe even enjoyable. Maybe.
I love that Andy thinks he'll have better lip strength and breath control in his golden years. LOL! Great question, btw.
Love the Tipitina's shirt Andy is wearing.
Nice spinal tap reference. This one goes to 11.
