Father, if l would have been blessed to hear this seventy four years ago, l would still be married! I failed my husband miserably! Did not understand this, until hearing you explain how l should have helped my husband, what a fool l was! I ended up with bi-polar, and three more marriages! Each doomed to my illness! But hearing you explain a wife's responsibility, to her husband..WOW! I am going o listen on the many times in great hopes that at age eighty, l can "get right" with my Lord before I leave this world! Thank you so much!!!🙏🌹❤️

@@VO_JayRedding For many, that was certainly true. But because "authority" (both secular and spiritual) was so highly esteemed, we were expected to accept whatever we were taught, without question. Often, parish catechism classes were staffed by well-intentioned adults who had no background in Church history or religious instruction. So there were few opportunities for kids to ask questions, because many adults simply did not know how to teach or explain. For children to question any truth of the faith was often considered sinful. That, I think, is why so many rebelled. But following V2-- in spite of faithless clergy and bishops, and the watering-down or even corruption of religious instruction and observance-- we have had a revival of apologetics, revival of devotions and more public outreach like this talk by Father. And of course, many excellent books, magazines, websites and media that teach the true faith. So gradually Catholics have been able to learn not only the "how," but the "why". Now more of us are returning to an informed devotion to Sacred Tradition including love of the Latin Mass.

Many of us cradle Catholics, who were born and catechized after Vatican II, received very incomplete catechism. I highly encourage cradle Catholics enter RCIA. Even though we have had the sacraments. When we go through CCD as a child we learn the faith at the level of a child. When we receive the sacrament of confirmation in high school we still have a lot of things to learn. As we grow and mature we begin to form questions, notice things which don’t sync up with what we learned as children. Also, there is a HUGE amount of information we need to receive to be well-formed in our faith as adults.
Going through RCIA with new converts and those who haven’t completed their sacraments allows for the opportunity to fill in the blanks, so to speak, enriching our understanding, answering the why’s, how’s, etc. For me it was life changing. It has led me to my vocation.

I never fully understood how a person becomes born again and loses things like fear.
Recently i got on my knees sick and tired if being sick and tired of my life i repented genuinly, it was once that i started to repent sincerely is when it all clicked and i broke through. I lost all fear, laziness and insecurities over night. It was the most amazing and supernatural experience ive ever had. Its so surreal because it doesnt comprehend well with the avg persons perception of reality. I would even go play basketball and everytime i shoot my shots would go in because i did not have anymore hesitation even. So it went down to the smallest details, it all dissipated and I could tell my comprehension skills grew and developed even better and im in my mid 30s. That was just one out of so many gifts the Lord gave me. Im still in shock and people dont believe me when i give my testimonial because its not supposed to happen in the “real world”. Once you understand that God (Jesus) is all spiritual then you will start to further your relationship to a higher level. Even us christians reject anything that’s supernatural and spiritual because it starts to get into that new age, cultish type of genre, but just like Jesus told his disciples who could heal that man in the book of Matthew and so Jesus scolds them by saying what little faith you guys have being raised in a perverse generation….even his disciples lacked faith in many areas so of course the avg christian wilould too. Understandable but not acceptable so continue to evolve youe relationship with Jesus by continuing to come out of your comfort zone, dont quickly reject things, not ALL prophecies are lies, just because it might be difficult for you to comprehend or understand a supernatural event doesnt mean its fake or didnt happen.

Umm.... PLEASE TELL ME that you did not attempt to get your father to go to Communion after 20 years without first getting your father to go to Confession and to give a thorough confession that encompassed those entire 20 years, so that he could then receive Communion in a State of Grace and not Mortal Sin.
Because your father was in a deep, deep, deep state of Mortal Sin and cannot and must not receive Our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament in such a state of pitch black filth. Somebody who goes to Communion while not in a State of Grace is literally, literally torturing Our Lord by subjecting His purity to their filth. Doing so knowingly - or when one should reasonably know better - is one of the worst sacrileges and Mortal Sins one can commit. When you go to Communion while not in a State of Grace, you are pile driving yourself deeper into a lower level of Hell.
When I came back to the Church after having been away for 20 years, I went to Confession for 3 weeks in a row, trying to confess everything I remembered over the course of 20 years, before daring to receive Our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament.
I could be wrong, but I do not believe that you had such knowledge, faith, and obedience to Catholic Doctrine and such care for Our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament that you insisted upon your father thoroughly Confessing first and being in a State of Grace before receiving Communion. It sounds like you didn't care about that at all. In which case, it sounds like you are very probably also in a state of Mortal Sin.
And it sounds very much like Our Lord decided to prevent your father from receiving Communion in a state of Mortal Sin, which would have increased his punishment and your punishment in Hell.
You might not like what I'm saying, but I was right, wasn't I, that you didn't get your father to do a thorough Confession first. I was right. So forget for a second that you don't like what I'm saying and consider that I'm telling you the truth, for your benefit, out of concern. You and your father really need to get right with God via the Sacrament of Confession.

What we do know to be true is "That every word of God is true" and every word of God will be fulfilled. "Not one jot nor one tittle will be left unfulfilled". (Paraphrased). As one who has experienced grave disorders in his personal and Spiritual life, as well as family life, And now as a battered and bruised Catholic who is seeking to restore some form of order to all the chaos, and if all who watched this video for whatever reason, if we would band together in prayer praying for one another, I do believe we truly could be a positive influence in the lives and circumstances of all who watched this video. Please do pray for me and my family's restoration in our Catholic Faith. You all will be in my prayers daily. The world needs prayer warriors now more than ever. May God bless, protect, and deliver us all and may He grant us true Repentance and contrition.

Add fasting to your prayers. Remember what the bible says "some demons only cast out by prayer and fasting" whatever web of deception that the devil has cast in your familys minds you can start to break through it with your prayers and fasting so the Devine light of christ can shine through. Ralph Martin of Devine ministers had success with his own family when they strayed and he said once he started to fast and pray for their conversion they finally came back to the faith and started to live good catholic lives. The lord gave us all the weapons to fight in this spiritual war, we should use all of them. Prayer, mass, communion, confession, holy hour, offer up any and all suffering in return for the conversion of whom you want. In the spiritual economy God gives grace in return for sacrifice. Any thing we don't feel like doing but do it anyway is a sacrifice. Fasting can be taxing but when we deceplin ourselves to do it and add prayer to it and offer this act up to God for the conversion of another person, this is a powerful sacrifice one that God in return will bestow grace. Romans 12:1 "Therefore I urge you brothers and sisters to present your bodies as a living sacrifice holy and acceptable to God which is your reasonable service. Do not be conformed to this world but be transformed by the renual of your mind". "Trials and afflictions are sent our way to purify us of our sins" st. Gemma galgani. "There is no way to heaven except the way of the cross, i followed it first, you must know it is the shortest and surest way" Jesus to st.faustina. The crosses in our life have meaning, they are leading us home to heaven just like the cross Jesus carried led him home to heaven. pray the rosary every day and let the blessed virgin Mary guide you and teach you to become a more loyal, fearless woman of prayer that breaks through webs of deception that minds world wide are Trapped in. The devil fears the rosary and fears all those who pray it. "The rosary is the weapon for these times" st.padro pio. May God bless you and whom ever shall read these words.

I do see them as I can visit once a year - and one brings the kids here once a year- but I have a accepted that for me - God must want me to Himself as friends and support is so rare. Also the adult kids are neglecting to see their moral duty with their mother … my husband died last year - he also drank alcohol and was very violent . So I took the youngest kids and we lived as a single parent household . The church folk basically ignore me - Christian people from churches other than catholic do offer help at times . My own parish? No. I appreciate Fr Ripperger bringing up the lazy priest and bishop topic . Our lives as Catholics are needing an overhaul in so many ways . Wow! Fr was talking about things that were revealed to me thru prayer. Fasting is not that hard, I have been fasting for 10 years and lost 50 pounds. What is hard about fasting is starting and keeping it up until your body adjusts. You will become super healthy if you fast. I would start by cutting out carbs. Staying in a state of grace and meditating especially on Jesus' passion will help you grow spiritually. Also you have to go to confession regularly (monthly) and confess everything. Especially if you have a pet sin. Not confessing it is the way the demon controls you. You have to confess, no matter how embarassing it seems. If you pray and hour everyday minimum, you will be surpirsed how much the Holy Spirit will reveal and teach you. Thankyou Fr Chad for being a catholic priest. I wish we had more like you. You are clear and not afraid to speak the truth. You got guts. God Bless

Father, I had listened to your video on Gossip from 8 years ago this morning just before going out to grocery shop. I should mention I live in Israel so where I shop is a shopping center that surrounds a big open piazza. There are places to sit and have coffee or something to eat. I had gone to the supermarket and they deliver my stuff because i don't have a car. I went to another store a little further into the piazza and as I was walking out, I heard someone call me. I turned around and it was a woman from our little Hebrew speaking congregation that's attached to the larger church that is mostly Arab but they have English Mass too. Neither is strictly traditional but the Arabs are more so and I had been thinking of going there instead. I love our priest who is from Colombia and fairly young.
I'm old and this woman who called me is a bit older. I've always been a little put off by her. I've only been back in the Church for about a month. She started complaining about our priest's teaching and how she doesn't agree with everything, blah, blah, blah. Isn't that just like Satan to try to test what I had just listened to an hour earlier? I told her that Father is human and he's not the Pope. At first I tried to tell her what I thought he meant was you don't have to work for a Mercedes when a Honda, if not the bus, will get you there just as well, so she can disagree but we don't need to talk about him that way and I walked. My quandry now is, because I don't think she's alone, do I stay to show support or do I go where I get more spiritual feeding? BTW, the teaching she was complaining about was Father's idea that too many people work just to have more money. I happen to agree with him.
