    Hello Harry, it's always a pleasure to listen to your fabulous lessons. As for me, I've first listened to your podcasts while working out and now I often watch you on CZcams. The various subjects you deal with make my vocabulary more active ... and obviously I 'm not the only one ! Thank you again for that😊

    Hi Harry, I'm from Chinese, the English vocabulary is my weak point,. I have a question about how to remember words effectively? thank you

    • @LearnEnglishwithHarry
      @LearnEnglishwithHarry  Před 2 lety +1

      It is pointless just trying to select 10-20 words and memorize them it does not work. Select a handful of words check out the proper meaning in a quality dictionary. Look at the various uses of the word the adjective , noun, verb etc then practice putting them into sentences. Short sentences at first . You have got to feel the word .

    Hi Harry, I have a little question, do you use often "to wind down"? I've never heard it, I hear more "to rest, chill, relax". Have a nice day !

    • @sciavash
      @sciavash Před 2 lety

      Even though I'm not Harry ( obviously), nor am I a native English speaker, I understand phrasal verbs constitute ( or less formally MAKE UP) a large portion of informal and colloquial aspect of the language. That's why I mentioned 'make up' as opposed to 'constitute'. I hope I'm not wrong.

    What's the differences between going to do and going to be doing?
    Like I am going to do my homework and I am going to be doing my homework?
    Please give some examples.
