Great vid! I think the main issue is that the stock sticks are Happ Ultimates, which are among the cheaper sticks happ offers. Happ has a supposedly much higher quality offering, called Happ Competition sticks, which I guess only cost slightly more than the ultimates. So a lot of folks are upset with 1up because they think, again, 1up decided to be cheapskates. Btw, how is the sound. Since you played the original KI machine back in the day, would you say it sounds as good (or almost as good) as the original machine?? I really need to know this because KI has an awesome soundtrack l!

If you're not having any issues with the controls then I agree there's no need to upgrade. From Shelion's video the issues with the lower grade joysticks seem to be mostly a manufacturing defect, so she probably got a lemon and you didn't. Lucky. If you're going to play Riptor then you're going to want to master her Tail Flip (DF, D, DB, any K). This move can be done while grounded (best as a combo linker) and in the air (like a dive kick).
I am enjoying my killer instinct pro cabinet, i got #157 , as far as the sticks and buttons , I'm going to keep them the same , I'm just not experienced with a fight pad I always used a controller, it's going to take some practice to nailed the moves and combos from a fight pad stand point, great video
Well...I hate my sticks and one was defective where I couldn't jump...after fixing that issue with the pin contact they still were horrible. I can easily do Saberwolfs Ultra...couldn't do it a single time. Dropped in ILs and flawless. I could do it easily on standard cabinet sticks too. But not this stock pro junk. The dead space in diagonal directions is BAAAAD. Glad yours work. Mine do after swap.
No. I hear nothing from my speakers cause they do not work. I just got an email from Arcade1up that they are looking into the speaker popping issue. Also, addressing the controls that the springs just need to be broken in if people are having problems with the joystick (I don’t think that will help with other people’s joystick problems).
My speakers pop. They do it once when I turn the unit on, then it sometimes happens once in a blue moon while the game is playing. It's really concerning.
Mine does not pop when I turn it on but it does pop from time to time. I changed the sticks (under $50 if I remember correctly) and it’s night and day. I like my cab but I don’t love it. Art work even the marquee not clear and I wish they finally get rid of the deck protector like iircade. The artwork should be like iircade instead of the cheap way they print on wood. And the speakers for as big is they are sound like tweeters only. So sad. Wanted to love it.
448 here, I can do the 236 and the 623 motions fine, but the 4(hold)6 and 6(hold)4 keep giving me false inputs. On mine it seems to be to do it properly you have hold the stick high of neutral resting position for those motions. I have no issues on my MSHCE cabinet which is Sanwa sticks and buttons (stock), granted I don't normally play charge characters on it so I drop combos with Hulk, but no issue executing his Gamma Charge whatsoever.
I hate the square gate feeling of the joystick and you have to use more force for the joystick to perform moves efficiently.The bottoms are fine but the joystick sucks😂

Most likely she probably did get a lemon. Hmmmm. Tiptoe’s tail flip is an overhead or only on a jump?

I’m glad you are liking KI!!!! Yup. It takes practice the get the combos and moves, esp. while playing online.
