All of these songs could have been released 30 years ago or 30 years in the future, this is the definition of timeless music. So grateful that these were all recorded with real instruments in a studio, it makes all the difference.
Exactly, I remember watching an interview where Aly explained that with their new music they wanted to cover that aspect of timeless. Their aim is to write music that would not be just a song but a timeless song that when you look back it would still be a bop.
As a musician I have to say the musicianship of these new songs are incredible! I love how all the textures of the instruments mesh together so well.

I knew this album was going to be incredible following the two EPs and singles, but wow...it’s shaping up to be one of my favorite albums in the last few years. A&A’s songwriting is so exquisite, and when you add in the nostalgic sound, instrumentation and melodies, it is such an experience. :’)
