    Hi. By increasing the number of transistors, you will not get an increase in output power. The output power depends on the supply voltage and current, as well as the output voltage of the amplifier.

      Lets suppose he has a 70-0-70v 30 ampere transformer. It can run the 2 transistor board and will not burn it. In this case increasing the number of transistors will help, provided the driver transistors gives enough current to the base of the 5200/1943 transistors.

      ice cold hes using a very thin wire for the output it cant handle even a hundred watts how much more with a thousand.

      Yea. He said 50V. So it's completely voltage limited into 8ohm load. Even with 4ohm, it's only 300W.

      Well it would hav perfomed better if the extra transistors were driven by 5200 and 1943 from the driver board

    Looks good but I think the wire on the collectors is rather thin to carry 20 amps you may have a lot of voltage drop, It should be at least 1.5mm².You need also 20A secondary on transformer and a larger capacitor bank. I do not think now the base drive is enough for all those transistors.

      yeah man but adding more transistor is not suitable for every driver ,
      each driver carry its own min and max watt so you cant add more if driver made for only 300watt

    There a few issues with this
    Problem 1 transistors in this configuration have no voltage gain
    2 the driving board will have a current limit which you just exceeded
    3 the current capabilities of the transistor derates with voltage drop so increased supply voltage will decrease the availability of current without excessive heat
    4 the voltage gain is likely from an op-amp that has a maximum voltage supply

    Why add useless transistor? It doesn't mean more transistor = more power? You need to upgrade the power supply and some modifications to the driver stage for stable operation.

    Just sharing the heat, but the power output willnot increase. dangerous too for output transistor, you need to put base resistor each and so that driver transistor will not be overload.

    I seriously suggest you buy a fan and set up some type of fume extractor because you are going to have problems with your breathing if you breathe in too much solder fumes

    I would like to see the output on an oscilloscope, a 10 KHz sine wave would show a huge amount of crossover distortion because there's no biasing network.

    So there’s a 8 transistor versus one , but the capacitors kept the same in the drive unit. Seems fishy to me that it’s just this easy ....

    For 50V amp output you need 2.5 Ohms speakers to have 20A current. If speakers are only 4 Ohms, you get maximum 12.5A current and 625W power.

      Actually way less than that, amplifiers are rated in RMS, so with 50 volts p-p at the output, you have really only 17.675 volts rms/4 ohms=4.42 amps X 17.675 volts= 78 watts RMS

    It doesn't work like you think. The current at base will be divide to other transistor so you decrese the performance.

    It doesnt mean 50 x 20 = 1000 watts that your gonna get 1kw its more 900 watts or 850 cuz of the internal resistance of the transistors so if you want 1kw i recommend 75 0 75 volts 25 amps

    On porew amplifier you needest bigger ampere and tranzistor output its also need no modification of the original circuit driver resisotr. Power outage didoes clamp down to 4A menwelll power transformer CLIP dower so 4 tranzidstor output in 4 and 8 OHMS of 500W darlignton MOSFEPT cikruit.

    Those heat sinks are not big enough for 1000W To get more power you need a higher voltage
    +/- 70 volts min. you also have to drive the power transisters harder, more volts, heaver wire #12 or #10. There are more things that need to be done.

      no need to upgrade the pre-amp, upgrading the main drive or power amp is enough.

    It's having heat up on 12-0-12 5amp only . What the problem it is . Heat sink also connected and good quality and quantity

    with many pairs it improves the damping factor and the sound is more beautiful.
    the improvement is more evident by doubling the power capacitors.

      i have one question , since my system is for 200watt and there are 4 transistor ok
      so i dont mean to increase the i am not going to increase power
      only if i added 6 transistor means 4+2=6

    Hi
    I just build the same circuit based on the same diagram but I have a problem. I used the same components except the BD139 becouse I had only BD140 in stock.
    Could this be the reason that at low volume levels the amp distorts but at higher levels its playing fine?
    Please let me know if you have something in mind about that. Thanks

    Pero si el ingeniero hizo la placa para esos dos transistores. Como le vas a sumar más carga y voltajes?? Tenés que hacer todo de cero.adelas esos cablecitos no soportan la carga de 1000watt .se le ponen cables pijudos de 2 milímetros y tipo alambre para que no hagan resistencia en su trayecto

      Show us the drawing of the circuit..
      It sounds like you have put components in the wrong way ie small input pair or not correctly set up the biasing..

      Because this is not correct. This is not the way to increase power. Increase heat sure but you will need to look for another video that correctly shows how to achieve the goal that this video is saying it is achieving

    i have a question how low it can handle term of impedance of the load.
    he doesn't increase the voltage but the ampere is high if he is correct
    can he go at .25 ohms like 2 dual voice coil 1 ohms each coil

    i have my 200+200 watt board but after seeing you, your board is made for that much watt, man i can see each resistor is 2 or 1 watt ,
    but in my system there small watt resistense and also only three big transistor and remaining 7 transistor are so small and you have 7 big size , and also the size of capacitor is also big
    so i know you cant add more transistor in any board untill and unless we know the min and max watt capabilities of that particular board with input volt and amp

    He cannot achieve that desired power, because he uses small wires and the driver is original not an upgrade.

      A placa é um amplificador de 100w, o que ele está fazendo é um upgrade para 1000w acrescentado mais transistores (leia o título do vídeo), essa placa encontra-se até no mercado livre ou nesses sites chineses de compras. O projeto está finalizado, é só colocar a alimentação e falante.
