Instead of only treating the symptom of team switching to attack, how about they put in the effort to make defense actually fun to play? I dont understand why they waste time on developing restrictions, when they could solve the problem at its core.
This game is a decent 6/10. It’s fun for a little while and then it stays on the shelf for a few months and then you can pick it up again for a little while.
When they will bring the Tenosia maps in the same map rotation as 64 players TO ? Why the hell make them separate in the first place ? When they hell will they fix the terrible team balance and team stack problem that seems to be getting worse lately ? Like last 2 weeks or so the team balance, especially numbers wise was bad. 1/4 or 1/3 of the match one team has like 5 players less vs a stacked team. Why bother making new maps if they dont add it to TO ? That is what most people play. I truly hope they manage to fix the team balance this patch. Seems to me a lot of new players from steam left, I keep getting into half full matches which take a bit to fill up proper and after one match, about half or 1/3 of players leave. Why is it so hard to make availabe the free cosmetics steam players got ? Why dont epic players deserve it after supporting the game for far longer ? Can we please try and make the heradly visible on all the armor sets ? What is even the point if I cant see my bling on my character ? How hard is it to modify some game textures ? Forget about new stuff. Fix the existing one.
I think the tenosian maps aren't 64 player because last gen consoles can't handle 64 players, and horses. Part of Jen's reasons for saying it's time to upgrade I'm assuming.

Or just limit them to 50 players but put them in the same rotation. Because lets face it, most players wont play the separate Tenosia mode as often, just for 3 maps. Its a stupid decision to have them separate, its only dividing the player base.

Same attack feints for console have been possible for months now I do them all the time on my PS5 version of the game, it’s harder & takes skill to do repeatedly which I like because it sets up a skill gap for the console player who knows what his doing & the console players whose just swinging wildly
@@nicccandussi865 I can consistently do them if I counter my opponents attack each time or land a hit, the most stamina it takes me to keep it up is small if I counter successfully since the stamina I used to do it gets replenished cause of the counter though If I get hit my stamina tanks badly if I try to do them again
i wish they’d actually put the issues they’re fixing in the “known issues” channel on their offical discord. like what’s even the point of it being there? there wasn’t a single day that went by without someone naming 4-6 of the issues they fixed in this update 🌵
for console in order to feint into slash from slash you had to press the guard button along with the slash button so sometimes you either successfully fiented or just went into block or did a counter which the last one isn't to bad if it matched the open yet attack

Maybe if he is experienced master of his craft, I would give that atleast few months on normal people and half year+ for newbies before they actually produce something worth releasing - and all that time they actually cost you resources and time because your current teammembers are now teaching them instead of doing work...

@@hernanperez5737 why would there be a difference? you just press L1 instead of R1 or R2. you can feint to same side by canceling with block and then input attack while still holding block but this is almost impossible to do on the fly when someone feints same attack at you.

Was really looking forward to this update. Now I'm kinda bummed and it really shows how the player base is declining as of lately.
The good stuff sounds cool But the other stuff just sounds so lame. Kinda sucks, wish TB would put priority on bug fixes and QOL instead of Tenosia content barely anyone will play. Katars sound badass though, i would have preferred an armored fist weapon though.

They basically took all the weapons that are the most nerfed and made them even more worse and then quoted that they are "balancing” those weapons just wow really but although they made this update an absolute blunder I still think that they can recover and they are really not in a bad position even though they blundered this update and still believe that they can make a really good update just as you said but because of this update I am a little concerned about it but not that much

It is. Higher FOV = you can see more = the game needs to render MORE on screen at once. Console (especially last gen) is specifically tailored for a set FOV to be able to run at a consistent FPS. Raising the FOV would impact performance negatively.
I fee like Chiv 2 really needs some time with this, I'm glad that they are taking the amount of time. In my opinion, the combat of Chivalry 2s combat is annoying to say the least
I can’t stand people getting mad about them dropping support for older consoles. Technology only evolves faster and faster. Decade old technology is not viable in brand new game development. As a series X owner, I’m constantly disappointed by games limiting their true potential and basically wasting my time due to old gen optimization. I understand not everyone can afford a new system, but there is a 10 thousand deep catalog of games you can still play that are optimized for the tech you are using.

It only swings too fast because accels don't have a cap on how fast you can accel. Fighting highland on a mouse vs one on a controller is a completely different experience.
Even if people had the money to buy a new console, which many do not, the availability of consoles is not exactly abundant. It's certainly better now but it wouldn't be too hard to find a store that doesn't a new-gen console.

@@kaworusilentpaw7246 a tv is very different to a computer, it does't compare, all a TV needs is a HDMI port and its good to go, i've had old TVs that still run but my 6 year old graphics card pretty much burned out, a computer degrades much faster

I tried it with controller on PC and it works but consumes like double stam for me.

it was always possible (and not too hard) to feint to same attack on console but it was basically impossible to counter a feint to the same attack.
It's the overheads that you really can't do in console stab and Slash you can do fine if you press the guard button at the same time

Spear is very good in 1v1s, can handle 1vX okay if you're really good and absolutely dominates any fight where you outnumber your opponent.
