Brooke, you KNOW those kitties will get up on the fridge and over onto the top of that cabinet…so hopefully they don’t get aggressive with that milk pump from up there! Great project tho! I always feel an extra degree of satisfaction when I am able to ‘rescue’ a treasure and reuse it.
That was my concern too! Cats can find their way up on anything!
Yes, my cat used to jump up on the counter, from there, up on the fridge, from there, up on the top of my kitchen cabinets. He would knock everything over up there( I had a lot of brass decorations up there) and just make a mes. I'd have to get my little ladder to get up there to fix things. He was just a pain in my behind. Unfortunately, he got a mass in his belly and when the vet opened him up, he was full of cancer, so we had to put him down while he was under. I still miss him and his antics terribly.

Brooke, I wish I could be half as creative as you. My mind just doesn’t work that way. I’m sure I’ve passed up lots of roadside items that you could pick up & turn into something beautiful. But my mind just calls it junk. God didn’t give me a creative mind. I couldn’t begin to turn that old cabinet into the beauty you did. That corner by the frig is just the ideal place for it & it’s doing a great job keeping your milk room clean. You’re going to enjoy having it for a long time. And Biscuit is going to continue enjoying her Mason jar box for a long time, too. ♥️♥️♥️

Same here! I take a couple medications that make me even more heat- sensitive than I already was, so summer is REALLY hard. I live in Minnesota so we get hard winters, but I still prefer them to even the 90-95 degree temps we get in summer!
