It must be remembered that during the ATP Finals in Turin Sinner had the chance to eliminate Djokovic from the semi-final, it would have been enough for him to lose the last match against Rune for him and the Dane to qualify and leave the Serbian out. Many would have done so but he correctly did everything to win against Rune, and thus gave Djokovic the chance to continue in the tournament.
Sinner could have taken the easy way out, but he chose to give Djokovic a shot. Real sportsmanship!

Absolutely, time is undefeated and eventually catches up with everyone, even the greatest athletes like Novak.
Novak's still got it in him. Just an off day for the great. 28+ slams easily.
