Might be an unpopular opinion but I think there needs to be an entire episode dedicated to these two, in a room, drinking a bit and hashing all of it out, why he left, why he didn’t contact her, what SHE went through especially in the past 5 years, ALL of it, hell, make it 2 hours long ❤
There needs to be a conversation about what happened to her whilst he was away. She never told him what happened in the basement when she was undercover, she needs to tell him about William Lewis and everything else that has happened to her. She needs him more than she wants to admit 😊
I don’t care how closed off she can be it’s far too unrealistic 3 years into his return we haven’t heard these conversations yet. It’s beyond frustrating.
It may present itself to others as a lack of self love when in truth it’s that she’s been in love with the same man for 25 years and to him she’s “the one true love of his life” so I’m not sure what else to tell you.

I think that Elliot just seem to realize that how important she was to him even after 10 years apart. . It could also be because Elliot’s been married for over 30 to Kathy. He may not want to be alone.. and Olivia is just so cautious of who she introduces know it too and Elliot keeps inviting them out somewhere
