Bayonetta 2 - Chapter XIII Pure Platinum with Rosa (∞ Climax No Accessories or Umbran Climax)

- Grace and Glory are still cancer. You can juggle them with air combos, but they can block and dodge on the ground.
You have to fight six of them in Verse 7, but you can just focus on one type to make it easier. Only one of each type will spawn at a time. You can hit Beloved in the orb on their back for double damage, but this is easier said than done at times.
You can find some of the old school angel arms in Chapter XIII and XV. Some of these are still extremely powerful.. The fire claws are decent but the bow and spinning staff are just broken. You can also grab Thunder Claws and the tuba cannon. You don't get the giant laser tuba.. Some of the old weapons are missing from this game.
There's a few tricky platforming sections and Fortitudo just keeps attacking after his health is depleted.. This chapter can be a bit cheap at times. You can shred Fortitudos health in a second with the angel arm but his final attack is very difficult to avoid. You can get around this by leaving him with a bit of health, he should land on the stage normally where you can finish him off.
Oh and for some reason PPPPP does more damage in the air with Rosa... every punch does 12 damage, so it actually adds up to a pretty significant amount. Doing an Afterburner Kick into aerial PPPPPK is an easy way to deal with Grace and Glory and most other medium sized angels. Some of the Demons can break out of air combos.. Angels are pretty helpless in the air.

Her healthbar didn't decrease, so she didn't actually get hit.
This makes me think of how many times vigrid was rebuild bc we see it get destroyed multiple times

Destruction of Vigrid in Bayo 2 which was repaired by humans and then was made setting in Bayo 1 and thrn destroyed by the volcano(iirc when i played the city was literally full of lava triggered by that fortitudo the later chapters, again iirc). Dunno if it was repaired again after, if it was that makes twice.
If we take into account the loop Loptr-Balder that was created? I'd say more than we can count. Only "FOR THEM" though. The remembrance of time from the 1st game started to make sense becoz of this.
@@rin8310 Considering the Ithavolt group, who was behind modern Virgrid, likely disbanded after the event of the first game, I wouldn't be surprised if the city were abandoned, with the few remaining citizen fleeing and becoming refugees in Spain and France.
Just finished Chapter XVI. I'll be starting the Switch version tonight, the next few weeks will be focusing on Bayonetta.
I'll probably do Pure Platinum runs without commentary, but I'm working on some guides and strategy videos as well. I'm also starting Xenoblade Chronicles 2.. There will be a lot of uploads. I'll try linking the playlists in videos but I upload Chapters in order.

I'm such a scrub at this game, I don't think I'll EVER be doing this difficulty! Besides, it just doesn't feel right seeing the cutscenes with Bayonetta's voice coming from Jeanne or Rosa. I mean, Rosa is fine, whatever, but Jeanne's voice is COMPLETELY DIFFERENT!

Now that I think, after the battle with alraune, we don't know if Rodin came back to the gates of hell, and in the end we only see Enzo flying in the plane, maybe some powerful demon attacked him and after that he was possed
Rodin as at the end of the game. After Bayonetta says "theres only one way to ring in the new year" and you fight all of those quick battles with the credits rolling you see him beside the plane lighting a cigar next to Bayonetta.
