Yes,you'll fit fine on one..If you just wanna ride around like these guys do,a CR/RM/YZ 85 would be perfect and faster than a 125..If you plan on doing any kind of jumps,get a 125 because a little 85 can't handle jumps with a bigger rider..
Cr top speed is the fastest, yz feels the fastest and with a change to the gearing would be the fastest the kx runner up all categories. But all 3 fun af
@zoe-819 you would expect the 85s to be faster than the 80...but that all depends on the actual displacement. I remember a few of the 1980s 80cc bikes being 83 and 84cc...and you are right about the gearing. That yamaha is probably geared lower and quicker off the bottom...which is why it probably "feels faster". I had a 1990 CR250R that would smoke any other bike to the first turn...but wasn't fast top speed. It would scare you as you shifted through the gears though...and the front wheel would lift off the ground in 5th gear with the snap of the throttle. It was geared low for tight track The KX 80s back in 1982-1985 were the fastest minis on the track...seems like yamaha took over the best mini category from 2000 on though..
Why are they riding children`s bikes Should be using RM500, RN500,CR500,KX500. Edited Noticed year Maybe on 125 now some our good the Pursang 125 ,Rm125 ,CR125 ect anyway buy big more Fun only if have confidence. xbeast Flemix, I have a CR 85 and a YZ 85. both stock bikes, no upgrades nothing bone stock.. my my Honda is actually faster than my Yamaha. the Yamahas are actually a bit slower the Honda's. so don't give that bullshit line about Yamaha being faster. Yamahas are nice bikes I like them alot. but hate to tell you they won't beat the CR85. my Yamaha cant even pass my cr85.
