King James Brown enlightened me as a child in the 70's to be Black And Proud and to make sure that I don't want nobody to giving me nothing, open up the door huh, I'll get myself! King James Brown will remain in my soul and life till I die! RIP King James!!! Lastly...I remember watching him introduce her on Soul Train and she kept saying "Yes Sir"! He raised her very well! She danced her tiny little cute self off! We are so Proud of her and his Legacy!

I saw James Brown when I was in the 8th grade. He shook my hand and when I got home, I told my parents I was never washing dishes again😂 He is my favorite male entertainer, I had a major crush on him😂 My dad let me go 2 days without washing dishes. On the 3rd day, he grabbed my hand and wiped away the James Brown touch and said you are going to wash dishes around here, Connie. i cried and my mom told that he was wrong for doing that😂
