As a fan of KSI, I feel sorry for him but, this is a classic case of when somebody gets so cocky about their chances of winning. When he mocked Jake Paul for losing to fury, that was one of the worst things he has done because it just made losing to Fury so much more embarrassing and humiliating.
He showed he’s a terrible boxer but still better than Jake, if a lifelong professional boxer from a fighting family can’t deal with KSI style Jake will do worse and 0 people said Jake got robbed he lost clearly KSI was a lot closer and controversial decision (I think he lost 57-56)

People being over critical of Tommy's performance do not understand the sport of boxing. Ksi was literally swinging, missing and then charging into Fury to avoid any counters in the clinch. In the end it wasn't pretty but Tommy used his experience to do what he needed to do to win. In no way at all was it a robbery, especially given that all the judges were on KSI's payroll
Ksi is a CZcamsr that has been boxing for under 3 years. Tommy fury is a professional boxer who’s been doing it his whole life. The fact that it was a close fight is absolutely embarrassing for Tommy and the fact your trying to defend Tommy is making you look like a fool
judges weren't on ksi's payroll, ksi owns misfits, not the pba, the fights were judged by the pba. second, his plan and performance in that fight was terrible. most of the significant strikes were ksi's and tommy was initiating 90% of the clinches which made this fight a hugfest. what experience did he use to win? every proper boxer would break ksi's style in seconds while tommy looked like an absolute novice. he didn't deserve that win and he can forget about the world title. he's found his level
I thought ksi was swinging was honestly landing almost the whole of the first 3 rounds, he landed the cleaner punches by far and with that strange bouncy style that he clearly got from mvp that Tommy couldn’t get till around round 4 Tommy threw next to no jabs and did next to nothing at range there’s a whole boxing style around boxing off the back foot and clinching to mitigate your opponent’s counters I’ll admit it wasn’t one sided it was close but ksi should’ve gotten the nod or a draw at the very least Tommy got VERY lucky majority of the people being "over critical” of his performance are avid boxing fans through and through he claims to be a real deal boxer that has been training all his life yet ksi has just picked it up within the last what 3 years? Tommy lacked any form of boxing fundamentals now don’t get me wrong I wanted him to win but if we’re going on fairness he shouldn’t have his brother has nothing good to say about his performance either.
Tommy was saying for months that KSI's awkward fighting style would get easily picked apart and get knocked out by a real boxer. Tommy came no where near knocking KSI out. Looking at the fight realistically, there's no way that giving round 2 to Tommy makes any sense at all, let alone both 5 and 6. Not a robbery, but just fishy scoring

Outworked him in the clinch most of the fight, he also outlanded Tommy in 3/6 of the rounds, 1 2 and 5, Timmy Fumbles got humbled by KSI

This "fight" was a pantomime disguised as a boxing match. Tommy is a halfway decent boxer but KSI had a smart team who knew KSI wasn't good but unorthodox so the game plan was to duck under any offence 🫂 throw a shot 🫂. In a professionally sanctioned boxing match, KSI would've been disqualified for unsportsmanlike conduct for not engaging and clinching so much. The ref, crowd, and commentary were all on KSIs side I'm glad the judges were unbiased and scored it correctly Tommy landed the cleaner shots, pushed the pace, and activity looked to engage throughout. The right man won.
Definitely, atleast the judges have a clean concience.
I was watching it live at the arena and I was in a crowd of people who were shouting KSI meanwhile I was shouting Tommy louder and longer 🤣😂

KSI spoiled this fight in the main. He literally did nothing but run, grab and throw the occasional wild right hand. Where Tommy went wrong is he was conscious that the overhand right was his only weapon and he was staying out of range of that, but he wasn't big enough to hurt tommy. He should've walked through the overhands with his guard up and used the jab. He tried too hard for the ko

Fury out-landed KSI in the third, fourth and sixth round, but was deducted a point for hitting the back of KSI’s head in the second round. Despite the deduction, the judges awarded Fury the decision.

Tommy is such a class act. If I had to deal with that referee I would have gone off the rails. Tommy stayed cool and collected and succeeded even through injustice.
He kept hitting him in the back of the head and had a point deducted. The ref should’ve been tougher on both of theM for the clinches. U know nothing. That’s is clear

at least 90% of the clinching and that's a conservative estimate.
The reason Tommy hit KSI in the back of the head was not intentional on Tommy's part. Rather it was because KSI would clinch then duck his head down and throw punches at him. There was no place on the head left to hit. Also multiple times he turns into the punches.
In a 12 round match (twice as long as they fought) Generally, 15 clinches warrants a deduction, 30 warrants a second and so on. You could argue that it should be double the points since the fight is half as long. So potential 4 deductions Over 40 clinches were done in only 6 rounds. It was a complete clown show.

@@gaiseric9518 I agree it was left to go on far too long but you are allowed to fight from the clinch, it's just subjective on how much is too much and don't forget KSI was landing some great shots in that position. Tommy was almost solely to blame as he didn't have the skill to get out of the way, he had no answer whatsoever which is frightening considering he wants to become a world champion!
It was not a robbery. It was a close fight that could have been 3-3 or 4-2 which would have been a win for either Tommy or KSI. I personally had KSI winning but I can totally see both sides. People got to stop saying that the judges are rigged. The ref defo could be for not break up the clinches faster. We have to realise that Tommy is younger, heavier, more reach, taller, and has more experience than JJ. With all that he barely won a close fight. I really though Tommy was going to jab and counter JJ's head off, but his ability to adjust wasn't there. Viddal would smoke Tommy in a fight.

He is only 24 years old that is young, and considering that the average age of boxers to retire is about 37 years old, and if we push it too 40 years old then he still has 16 years that is a long time. However, it is not mainly just age that boxers retire, it is mostly the build of injury over the years. The point I am making he is not retiring anytime soon.

For sure that ref was payed by KSI. Tommy hit KSI twice in the back of his head and ref took 1 point from him. KSI hit Tommy 5 times and ref doesnt even look at it. I dont ven talk about the 50 hugs from KSI...

I think some ppl dont understand how boxing is scored entirely (Aka 12 yr old KSI fans) and that the judges will not score u as highly if ur whole game plan is to clinch and hope for ur opponent to accidentally hit u on the back of the head to draw a point deduction, because ur not being as aggressive or enforcing and controlling the fight which r judging factors

22 KSI fan that's also a boxer here, KSI although unorthodox and not traditional in the art of the sweet science did in fact win that fight, watched it over many times now and KSI clearly landed the harder punches in the clinch and the moments when it came to them exchanging before getting into clinches funny enough showed KSI being more accurate which really surprised me seeing as Tommy's meant to be the accurate 81 inch jab your head off type boxer.

Tommy is a really good lad and I hope the comments aren’t too tough on him.
However… all credit goes to KSI. A kid who played fifa, who had 1 pro boxing bout before taking a 3 year break, stepped in the ring with a guy from a fighting family, who has over 15 amateur fights and 9 pro bouts. And KSI arguably won. He landed the more shots and the cleaner shots outside of the clinch, then proceeded avoid being hit as much. Wasn’t a pretty fight, but I don’t think you could give the fight CLEARLY in favour of either man without slight bias.

Just to let many know that Tommy Fury stated before this fight that if he got anything like a decision win over KSI he would be deeply upset and would consider it a loss... that fact he cried and is so proud of the win of this win 24 hour despite all the criticism from his own family such as his Uncle, just leaves me and many dumbfounded

The only reason it ended up in a clinch fest each time KSI came in was because Tommy didn't have the experience or fight IQ to be able to use his footwork to get out of the way so they both ended up hugging instead. You can't blame ksi as he isn't the pro boxer and he did precisely what his coaches told him to do, Tommy should know how to circle out but he had no answer for him whatsoever, it was extremely embarrassing! Ksi team said their gameplan was to keep a distance so tommy won't use his jab. All ksi gameplan was that he had to hop up and down, spam overhands which majority didn't even land and clinch whenever tommy tried to throw a combo. BOTH fighters fought horribly but I do see where tommy is coming from

I was looking forward to seeing that fight KSI Vs Tommy but what we got was a hugging match. There was so much "hugging" that it should have be changed from boxing to hugging.
Tommy talking as if he has an option to go up to top level boxing, the lad barely scrapes wins from non-boxers/CZcamsrs. If he can't say anything else, he should thank Jake Paul and KSI for allowing him to be a bread winner in his household instead of his wife, each time he fought.
He talks about finishing them both like it's some achievement for a Pro Boxer, but he'll be back for more since he's not cut out for top tier boxing.

As someone who has competed, you’ve got to understand when your up against an individual who’s sole purpose is to be unorthodox and awkward because they know they can’t outbox you, it’s difficult. What Ksi did won’t win fights. And a lot of his shots were hard to even score, simply because they weren’t clean and mostly coming from when he was clinching Tommy. Regardless Tommy won in my eyes. Boxing won! I don’t particularly like either man but Tommy was the obvious winner. JJ was on the back foot, was initiating consistent clinches was throwing wildly without any consideration of where his shots were going to land. And was literally in a karate stance doing literal star jumps. Tommy isn’t trash in fact he’s not even prime him yet. The man had 12 amateur fights most of which as a young teen. He started pro boxing with a limited amateur background hence his padded record at the moment. Once he has experience which he will gain from more bouts from tougher opponents then we can judge. He’s 24 most boxers don’t retire until 40 and most aren’t in there prime until late 20s and early 30s. Good luck tommy

KSI never claimed to be a pro, he just said he was the best in the CZcams space
Can't lie, i was rooting for JJ to win.. but there wasn't much to watch. I agree with the statement tommy made when he said it made him look bad, i agree.. made you look terrible. Im sure youve got a boatload of talent to show but neither party was given the opportunity to show it.
Tommy looked really good in his fight with Jake. I think he needs better trainers, I like John fury but you hav to admit that he is a bafoon.

Jake Paul got a knockdown against Fury and lost by Split decision. While KSI lost by majority decision and didnt get a knockdown on Fury. So Jake Paul is definitely winning this one at the moment.

That was a terrible fight, KSI probably won a world record for most hugs/ clinching, disgraceful. Suprised that he wasnt disqualified for being unsporting. Tommy is right KSI didn't want to fight, he came to run around give Tommy a hug instead and do star jumps.... every time I thought a fight was about to start. Tommy goes in for the jab, KSI gets scared and hugs him.. what a joke this was.. KSI had no chance of being competitive at all with that awful performance.
JJ threw 124 punches to TF 159, had his hands down majority of the fight, landed more accurately than TF with less punches (38 KSI 39 TF) landed more power shots, negated Tommys jab (only 12 jabs landed from Fury the whole fight), made Tommy play JJs game and brawl instead of box. Outworked him in the clinch most of the fight, he also outlanded Tommy in 3/6 of the rounds, 1 2 and 5, Timmy Fumbles got humbled by KSI
@@xeiphous.go look at the video where KSI coaches told him to just clinch for the remainder of the match. They really thought KSI would win of points. So yes KSI wasn’t boxing, he was on survival mode.

All honestly, it should've been a draw. JJ landed more punches, he even kept hitting while Tommy kept hugging him - VERY boring fight btw only huggy hug hugs. Tommy is the professional though, once i saw his style and stance I KNEW he really was IT. He did hit KSI on the back of his neck a few times, should've been minus points. Judges were unprofessional though, they can't even do basic addition.

Considering Tommy has being boxing since he was 6 and is a pro, it's embarrassing for him how close it was. If he's as good as he says, he should have won by a landslide or KO, but he didn't.
If these two had a rematch in two years, pretty sure KSI would win, as I doubt Tommy would improve at all, and KSI would improve a lot. 5 years of boxing experience vs 18 years of boxing experience, yeah, Tommy should be ashamed. Especially since he was saying before the match that he wouldn't be happy at all if he got a decision win, and the fact he has family members that are disappointed in him...yet he's still happy with the win and gloating?
I don't think it matter who officially won or lost in this fight, the fact it was so close is a win for JJ by default considering Tommy has over a decade more of experience.

@@MrYinkster Naah but I do believe that the referee was paid off by KSI's team. He gave Tommy little to no warnings and took a point off for shots to the back of the head even though KSI did it right before Tommy did it. Also KSI should have lost a point for spam clinching but for whatever reason he got multiple warning and never got a point taken off. Horrible referee.

Tommy fury blaming everything on KSI when he says that he didn’t want to fight I’m not a professional but Tommy did not do great in this fight and the hugging part was on both I mean he rested in the end on KSIs Brest and shoulder like a pillow witch is smart to gain energy but dum because you look like a beginner and the punches was on point but a bit few and not backing up a single time in close quarters is not great when he said that he wanted to box if he knew that KSI was trying to hug him why not at lest try to avoid it maybe I’m just being biest.

Like most people I thought Tommy fury was going to destroy KSI but I was not expecting how bad he was treating the fight. I sounds like he is facing a kid and KSI may not be a great boxer but he has definitely been in fights I don’t care really if you disagree with this because I’m just talking from experience.🤕
