As a series 1 owner, the only reason to buy a newer version would be to access the additional +50HP power. Very little has changed on these boats over the years with the design. I see a mix of good and bad small changes on the 2024 model. The biggest flaw on this boat because of its size is the toilet - it is suitable for children only! They would be better having an under seat toilet without a tiny cabin and some kind of privacy curtain by the helm.
The cockpit shade design isn't too clever from what I see. The starboard side deck to the bow will always be in use for anchoring and so people will have to shimmy between the strap that is holding the frame in place. A telescopic solution would be much better - I've seen kits that mount to the roof handrails for £1k.
For the asking price I'd consider a 2016/17 Axopar 28 instead.
