Wow, Vanessa is so talented and she really performed this character to the best of her ability. She has grown so much as an ACTOR! She shined in this role.
I do like how Rizzo helps Sandy at the end instead of just Frenchie helping in the movie. Although Rizzo and Sandy weren’t the best of friends, it was nice to see them connect in this scene.
Rizzo is undoubtably the better role. You can't shine as Sandy, she's boring af and the fact that Julianne somehow didn't seem like a complete idiot means she already did well.

i think Olivia Newton John can sing better but the Live version of Grease is really cool! i do Grease as musical with my class because we're going to High School next year but the Grease Live is so good really much love for Grease!♡
Julianne is an amazing dancer. Olivia had such a pure clear innocent sounding voice which met with her character perfectly, but was also able to be sassy and sexy like for you’re the one that I want.

@@faith4disney But the thing is Sandy was fine with how she was before everyone (mainly the pink ladies) started harassing her for her innocence. Danny was fine with the way she was too and wasn’t pressuring her into sex because he respected her, something he didn’t show to any other girl or any of his friends. In reality Sandy didn’t change because she wanted too, she changed because she felt pressured to fit in. I also believe The Pink Ladies, especially Rizzo, where all jealous of Sandy at first because she had confidence in who she was and didn’t feel the need to drink, smoke, and have sex just because everyone else around her was doing it. Only when they completely broke Sandy and dragged her down to their own level did they finally except her, although they weren’t excepting the real Sandy, they were excepting the Sandy they had created.
I like julianne but she should of kept the Australian/English twang it added extra innocence to the character, I'm sure she could of done it. But that's my opinion.. I just think Olivia can never be out shined :)
I think they finally got the right replacement for Olivia N. John, but she needed a bit more help like her last scene...the moves were a little strange; she kept sticking her backside out in an awkward way like a cheap...she really could have used a little more direction there and again they minimized the best and last scene a little. You have to have the fun house. She was a good dancer but more like a gymnast which still worked. She's prettier than O.N.John which worked great but when you wear black spandex, you have do a hundred butt strengthening exercises everyday. . I actually perfer her over Olivia although Olivia's voice is better, she just needed some more coaching. John's last scene was perfect , it was the highlight of the movie and should always be followed to the T. Hough can do a little better. Riz was great. Danny was okay but you have to put a cool italian or Spanish guy in this role. It's the most important role for a cool guy. The name of the movie is Grease, not West Side Story. White nerdy looking guys can't be taught to be cool . He wasn't even good looking. Clearly , the casting director was white. I was surprised most times at how well the movie was made, and in good taste but something was missing; I found myself bored and grateful that it was over. The wow factor was missing? I don't know. I think maybe it was Danny - there was no cool guy.
