Hi Coach Javi, is it necessary to go to a college ID camp for the recruitment process? Would a highlight video and asking the coaches to attend the showcases be enough to be recruited? I play for an Academy club team but I don’t know how the college process works once I’ll have coaches to notice me. I also don’t have the money to attend to those ID camps because of the cost for my Academy team and traveling around for practice and games(hotels, air travel,etc) are expensive. Hence that’s why I’m playing for Academy because I thought that if college coaches are interested in me, and “invites” me but I have to pay, then what’s the point of all this. Thank you for taking your time reading this.
Im at that same level and honestly ID camps aren't worth it unless it's a private workout. Keep college coaches updated on ur schedule and where you're traveling to so they can go see you. A good highlight tape would keep them intrested.

So my I’ll be playing my striker good through balls but he isn’t a solid striker and a lot of times doesn’t get the ball in the back of the net, though should I use footage of my through balls even though he doesn’t score?

Is it okay if clips are 2 years old? For my case, Im in my second year of community college wanting ti transfer out to a d1 but I haven’t played college ball, and my last highlights are some I found from my last senior year of high school and club ball. Not sure if thats okay but because I also have people that can vouch (esteemed coahces)for me that I’ve gotten better. I never used these clips to apply before as I never had support and never reached out to a college when I was a senior. Do I have a chance? People I know have connections with the d1 coaches is why I’m asking to make it easier for me.

Haha, i have been watching so many highlight videos now, i was all nervous, but man, the quality of players are so bad🙈 Like at one point he fake shots away from the goal and the defender goes for a block but away from the ball🙈 No hate tho, im just glad that the average collage footballer is bad❤️
