Watching Paul Delay at the Eugene Hotel where there was such great Blues players passing thru in the late 70's, then being on the same line up with him at a Harp Blow out in Portland helping him haul his amp to his car him offering a bit of helpful criticism of a high end riff I used I mean that was 6 sets before his, and he could tell me what I did wrong! Incredible ears. He was just great. And, I believe he got a bad deal in what happened to him later. Set up as an example I've been told. He was really funny as well.
Hey, come on, I spent 29 years, 3 months driving a Fedex Express (not Ground, as shown) truck, ie. like helping somebody move everyday1 Anyway Ronnie, I appreciate your style of teaching and song selection as I try to reacquaint myself with this small instrument that I quit playing for many a year. If you take requests for teaching lessons, I've have always liked the harmonica solo in Roy Orbison's "Candy Man." I think it is done by Charlie McCoy.. Thanks for your help.
