EDIT: I typed this comment at the beginning of the vid, but had to add the fact that I need that size 13 you're showin' off. It's SO difficult to come across size 13 Dunk SBs for a decent price. Especially collabs...

@@lifewithjulez32 compared to other materials, these will get dogged incredibly quick. Great if you are one of the very very small percentage who gets a retail pair , not great if you’re shelling out $500 for them

Bro, you're the first one who mentioned the shoe creasing immediately when putting your foot in. Mine did the exact same thing. Looks fine without a foot in it, but there's almost like this bubble where it seems separated from the backing material when I put them on. Have yours still been doing it every time you put it on? Mine do
I just coped these on eBay size 13 for $550 all in. Obviously I didn’t want to spend that much but I had to have these. These are a must have in the collection. Too DOPE to pass on!!

Only canvas toe box i own is the union 4’s and they creased instantly and never changed. Leather toe boxes crease WAY better
Yeah, but canvas and cordura are similar but not the same. The toe box on these feels like nylon rather than regular canvas
I am fairly certain the City of Style dunk is turn and stitch. I've been skating my pair and the stitching is not splitting apart. The canvas is tearing away nicely and the gold lining around the stitching is scuffing, but no stitching issues 👌🏾

They release tomorrow so I’d say keep trying at retail until you can’t. I don’t know if any shoe is worth resell unless it’s special to the individual

Gorgeous shoe but they are made from the same toe box on my sf giants SB highs and they creased after 30min walking. It will be same as the futura as u see in that picture Dave showed in the beginning ugh

@@DavidBluetile I did watch the whole video and I saw that. I have no explanation for how that happened all I know is that I felt the materials on the futura and they are the same toe box material as my sf giants dunks and my creases never went away. They didn't gradually get worse after that first initial day but they are creased bad and that's a fact. I also paid $160 for them so it's not the end of the world but the futuras are reselling for damn near $700 already and id be pissed as hell if I paid that price and they looked bad after one walk in them. I will say that I never skated my shoes so idk 🤷
@@bigsherm887I get what you’re saying but can you really expect the quality of a 700 dollar sneaker from a shoe that goes for a retail price of 135? Waiting on my pair from goat now whatever happens happens . I see that material and knew it’s going to be tough to keep them in good shape . Hoping I hit a retail pair so I can wear one to the ground and keep another nice .

After more than 15 L’s on these , I have accepted I will never get them ( not much hope on the SNKRS release ) . And no way I am paying 350$ or more for shoes which are clearly average quality and uncomfortable. If I want to collect Futura’s art , I prefer to buy a print from him I guess …

@@DavidBluetile yes :) i have my eye on the classic green/black sb dunk for my next biking shoes and on the Trocadéro gardens for walking around . Both cool and I feel I could get both at retail :)
Commiserations, my man. I'm new to the sneaker game. These were my first serious shoes I actually tried to buy on the SNKRS website. Had 4 Mayes help me out. We managed to get a US11 so I'm stoked. Beginners luck. You've probably got much better shoes anyway. I've only got these which I plan to keep a while, but not a bad way to start. What would you recommend to invest in over the next few months. I'm now looking at sneakers at the $500-1000 mark to buy
@@slyarsenal my advice : don’t invest in sneakers because they are not a sound investment ( value going quite down these past 6 months ) and are made to be worn ( from my point of view). Buy some stocks or real estate if you want to invest ;)

I got pair from local skate shop thank you blue 💙 flowers 💐 I think I'm going to sell em just cause they are white and canvas and selling for boatload so makes no sense for me to keep. They look really nice new though
