I got the Gen 7 pro, and after some runnings and testing i decided to turn it better with some "essential" upgrades, so i'll share my experience with you: - Full Upgrades list: 1 - The stock Interco tires suck a bit in wet terrain and wet rocks, so i bougth some nice Proline Hyrax 1,9 tires ( excelent grip in all terrain ) 2 - The Gen 7 pro its very top heavy so its prone to turnovers, removing the roof spare tire and installing some nice wideners on the wheels are a godsend 3 - I added weigth on the wheels ( 250 gr on front and 235 gr on back ), in conjunction with the hyrax, he turned into a Spider, can climb almost everything. 4 - Bougth 4 aluminium bedlock wheels to replace the plastic ones, in the long run your vehicle becomes more reliable and the added weigth its a benefit. 5 -The stock skid plate doesnt have crossed linkage like the other brands ( links screwed to the inside of chassis rather than outside ), so i purchased a new skid plate in order to force the linkage to screw themselves inside the chassis, so i can mitigate the Torque Twist and prevent turnovers. 6 - I Purchased a cheap chinese 25 kilo waterproof servo, because the stock one isnt waterproof. 7 - Ill buy the Portal axles ( not mandatory ) in the future, just to complete my rig, to avoid the nuissance of small rocks scraping the punpkins 8 - ( Cosmetic ): i have a roof light bar, lights on front and back, scale acessories ( medkits and expedition box ) to replace the spare tire, and i dediced to grab a knife and cut the front sticker grille and replace it with a real palstic grille. 9: My Gen 7 truck worths a 535 Euros now ( 600 USD ), but its behaviour its completely different than the stock one. Its up to you if you want to spend all that money, or purchase something else ( Like the TRX 4 Sport ), its all a matter of personal opinion and personal taste. Even with the upgrades my Gen 7 manages to be cheaper ( at least in my country ) and better than a stock Traxxas TRX 4. My cousin has a Heavily modified Traxxas Trx-4 ( same upgrades as me, but more weigth ) and my Gen 7 its allways on his tail with no problems at all, no matter the terrain. Kuddos and i hope i helped

Your still running the 3000. battery. I researched several different Crawlers before purchase. And performance of the Pro was running right along with Crawlers twice the cost. Any recommendations on what parts to keep and eye on. Thanks, Craig
Perfect spot nice truck got my black pro few days ago putting portals on now change the pinion and spur gear to Traxxas 32 pitch then a 3s and a mambo kit I'm done lol. Stiffened up that left rear spring to keep that torque twist down just a little bit cuz it'll gets twisted on steep rock inclines. I'm hoping it can hydroplane over water about 30 40 ft like a like I seen a guy do with the same setup shallow water like few inches. Anyways thanks for the video and enjoy your truck peace I got some videos I just got on CZcams few days ago trying to figure it out.

Have you tried running it without the tire and accessories on the roof rack (and without a roof rack)?? I'm curious to know how much it would improve steep angle performance with less weight on top.
I have the Gen7 Pro and got the E10 for my wife. The E 10 is very slloowww. And i didn't like it at first. Then i started to try it out. It's slow but even with the 2200 battery the run was at 30 minutes. Is this normal.
Is was amazed. Been out of the RCs for years. My last road car was a TR4. 20 years ago. Hard to believe that much time has passed. I want to upgrade the batteries on both. 4400 to 5800. Nimh. Is Lipo worth the price? Any battery recommends would be appreciated. And other upgrades. Only had them a few weeks. Thanks guy's. Craig
원래 들어 있는 서보가 그렇게 좋은 것은 아닙니다만... 그렇다고 그렇게 빨리 고장나지도 않습니다. 지금은 다른 서보를 사용중인데 고장나서 교체한 것이 아니고 힘이 없어서 더 힘센 서보로 교체했습니다. 서보는 소모품으로 생각하셔야 맘이 편합니다^^ 저도 산길이나 바위 탈 때 항상 여분의 서보를 가지고 다닙니다~ㅎㅎ

젠7/젠8은 기본적으로 방수 작업이 되어져 나오므로 그냥 물에 들어가도 되긴 됩니다~^^
하지만 베어링이나 구동계에 녹스는것은 감수 하셔야 하고 정비를 아주 꼼꼼히 하셔야 합니다~

Lipos are worth it. Way more power and run time.
And to start go on Amazon an get some zeee powered lipos , 38 bucks for two and there great batterys
