- I managed to learn the fakie a couple of weeks ago and I didn't want it to be the only one that I ever do so we decided to head to the local skatepark and see if it was possible for me to do it again. However it didn't quite so as planned and I had a little crash which knocked my confidence but do I finally manage to land it again?
I hope you enjoy this video!
Kara :)

Never underestimate how useful a bunny hop or a trackstand really is! Both are well worth practicing over and over.......along with tying your shoelaces! 😂
Very true!
Kara like your perseverance, and Tom's coaching
Thank you ☺️
Love the video. We bruise, we hurt, but we never give up learning the bike tricks . The satisfactiion we get from learning a new trick is worth it all!! I am going thro the same steps for every new trick... and its been years
You will have it soon Kara
Thanks ☺️
I love seeing the try and try and lose confidence and try again, it's a good reminder for me that learning is supposed to take lots of tries!
Absolutely!
Well done, Kara! 😊
Thank you 🤩
I like the persistance, well done.
Kara, please don't get yourself seriously hurt!😢
I’ll be careful ☺️
It hurts a lot less if you continue on anyway regardless of the pain. Well done.
Congratulations Kara. I hope you didn't get hurt too badly. Greetings from Colombia.
nice! we were working on this same stuff today at a local park. Super useful skills especially with working on moving your body weight around on the bike. Id love to see another manual practice/progress video!
That crash though 😂
Need to play around on a trials bike for a few months to learn to hop and twist the bike about.
You have to get more aggressive and attack it.
Need more speed to get a bit further up the ramp then in turn you'll roll back quicker which will aid better balance. Maybe even try it sitting down.
💯 way too slow and sitting down even at full speed is much better
I mean, that's pretty much how learning this type of thing goes. I have slammed because of a caught shoe lace a couple of times. This is one of those things that requires persistence and you seemed to improve each time and that's what matters. The key now is to not wait a long time to work on this again. You gotta get back and keep trying it until you get consistent and it becomes second nature.
Great effort Kara. I need to work on my fakies but I have been working on my manuals still. But you got the one hander track stand too. That's actually pretty impressive.
Jordan Boostmaster caught his shorts on his bars ,crashed and broke his wrist and he was on cam loop with 50 gap jumps ! 😮 you got off lightly 😂👍🏾
