as someone who's been using serval + kafka for overworld farming: the fact that kafka herself keeps stuff shocked allows Serval to just basic attack, hit 2 targets thanks to eidolon #1, you can hit 2 enemies, proc her talent on everything shocked Serval basically just handles AoE/trash clearing while Kafka focuses on single target Serval is there to proc Kafka's passive and be a SP battery the addition of Serval's dot is just a small benefit, the frosting on the cake as it were so honestly while people say Serval isn't a good match with Kafka, I find they actually do have some level of complimenting each other in a party. is Serval as good as having Sampo? no, but I think Serval is compliment to Kafka. More so them a lot of youtubers are giving her credit for

my Kafka is 154 speed and she always wastes her first turn because she goes first. She gets another additional turn on the third cycle but that's only one cycle sooner than 134, and past 4 cycles most enemies are dead anyway.
@@tienluuquyet5069 in MoC the technique only hits the first wave of enemies. When the elites spawn, the cycle resets and she's up first again with no dots to trigger. Also you can't technique on weekly bosses or caverns.

This might be one of the worst Kafka guides ive seen so far. For everything from the Build to the comps. The fixation on break effect, which is one of the worst stats on her. Along with you stacking an insane amount of energy regen and not going space station set. Energy regen on her makes like no difference. Saying Serval is strong with her, when she isnt. Shes redundant in the comp and adds nothing. Her shock extension doesnt do anything, cause Kafka has 100% up time and like you said, shit dot damage. Plus the team comp part was a cop out. You kiterally just showed her with sampo and serval lmao. When two incredibly strong comps are Kafka/Asta/Tingyun and Kafka/ SW/ Tingyun. You actually didnt even mention Tingyun once lol. To each their own, but this guide was very phoned in. And didnt even show gameplay, to show performance.
I mean the dude is a whale so the build works for him, this is why his perception of a character is so warped that he believes er set is good on kafka. No f2p or budget player should follow his guide but unfortunately people will and then wonder why it does not work for them
I was going for Serval E6, holding the 100% banner chance to Fu Xuan, but Kafka wanted me to have her so she dropped herself with 50~ pulls. I can’t complain. The amount of dot team comps we can do with her is insane, and will continue to be the dot mommy, otherwise they’d just be releasing a Kafka copy which they won’t because she’s fkin Kafka ❤

Huh, I was farming the lighthing set for so long, got just a couple decent pieces for Kafka. Didn't know two piece speed set would be good as well. Thanks for the info, I'll be farming the speed set now because I definitely need more of that for my supports
Speed set is universal as almost everyone use speed. If you have finish farming just stick to lightning set. Especially if you already can reach the speed break point.
5:30 Actually, it was tested and Welt's LC does seem to affect all of Kafka's damage. It's roughly equal to S2 GNSW at S1 in calcs. Also, there are some earlier speed breakpoints too for getting extra actions sooner in your cycles. Here is a list of notable speed breakpoints early on: 120, 134, 143. 146~148 speed are all okay too if fights start to drag on a bit longer as you do get some bonus turns a bit sooner deeper into the fight on like cycle 4, 6, and 8 respectively. So, speed can be pretty nice even at some of these lower speed breakpoints too. It's a rather solid stat.
This is basically "Misinformation, the guide" for optimal builds but hey whatever works for you who am I to tell you how to build your character as long as you have fun doing it
I think she's the best investment in the long run, when new 5 star DoT character drops, she's honna be more relevant. Not to mention that you can just farm few atk% relics and stop at it and then farm her mats to max her, it far more easier than farming crits relic for hyper carry.
Supposedly someone made a breakdown for most meta stats, and it looks to be: Atk rope and Lightning damage orb (SSS set for more atk) Speed boots, Atk chest, not sure what set though. 4pc lightning? Since thats what everyone's rocking. Maybe 2pc lightning/speed Substats is EHR till you hit 30%, speed>atk Break effect is fine too, though Kafka seems to be the biker/damage enabler. You'll probably get the most out of stacking attack and speed. And light cone is obviously signature>fermata>good night/eyes of the prey/Welt 5star cone maybe?
My first and only e6s5 character. I won't do that to myself or wallet again. Lost 1 50-50 on both banners and only hit pity 3 times which was really luck but dang expensive for my taste. Don't regret it since I'll never do it again
@@xGerardStorM not that much, typically if you build her about 28 eff hit rate from the start, it like to have 95% applies on elites. You don't need 66.7% because you will lose other stat as well
I run her with Loucha, Sampo and Asta because my relic speed substat is pretty bad and Asta work pretty good with DoT team. 70 pull 1 Kafka, 3 Sampo, 4 Serval and no Luka but since SUShang break physical pretty good so i don't really mind if i don't get Luka.
With Luka I think it’s actually refreshing not going with something as predictable as fire, destruction. Because one we will be getting a lot of destruction characters in the future already, two variety is better if characters all fall into predictable paths (in another game electro is a lot of tall women, anemo is short guys) then they don’t cover all their bases and it becomes bland (Im salty Clorinde was predictably electro needed her to be tall women anemo dps)
1:30 I think Code kinda explained it in a previous video, but I still don't quite get how the effect hit rate formula works, what does he mean by rolling a 0.8%? I'm mostly wondering cause for the first time yesterday my Silver Wolf's skill actually failed to implant the weakness when i was fighting Phantylia, when I have 97% EHR on her and her traces at level 8 (so 82% base chance for the weakness implant). From what I could find Phantylia only has a 40% effect resist and no special resistance to Silver Wolf's skill, so I was trying to figure out just how low of a chance it was that Silver Wolf's skill failed
The chance of missing the implant is 3.1% for your silverwolf. Real chance = base chance × (1 + effect hit rate) × (1 - effect res) So 0.82 × (1 + 0.97) × (1 - 0.4) = 0.969. 96.9% chance of hitting the implant. My silverwolf actually missed her first implant on the phantylia too lol.

Just keep grinding relics. You get 180 fuel every day which is about 4 rolls on a relic set. Don't even think about relic substats as that requires even more rng than the relic main stat you're looking for. Trust me, just stay patient and do your dailys, an e6 Serval is insane and should not be passed just because you don't have enough relics to go around. If you need any advice let me know, sorry if it sounds like I'm scolding you ahah
I currently have Fermata III on my kafka but also have good night, sleep well I. Should I keep buying fermata duplicates to max the light cone or just swap it for gnsw?
@@thecriptkeeper No problem. Do note that Fermata S5 will still edge out gnsw by a tad at S1. You also have to maintain three debuffs on enemies to get the most out of gnsw. But the more superimpositions you have of it, the better it gets. Gnsw S5 is the best budget option bar none.
I honestly think energy rope set is better because every 2-3 turns you pop ultimate and to make up for the damage lost from using the ATK 12% set equip all your other characters with The Xianzhou set for 8% ATK increase so in total having 3 of those on your team you'll get 24% ATK.
@@AB076 true but I think it makes up in damage if your able to get Wind stacks 3-4+ and additional debuffs from either having Silver Wolf or Luka. On your 2nd or 3rd turn you’ll just burst them down fast and you’ll probably be 40-60% full on ultimate ready to Ult the next turn to proc the previous stacks. I think it’s pretty cool😂
@@RuTo94 there are scenarios where 2 turn ults are possible with attack rope if you kill mobs, so the upgrade isn't that great and you can't even guarantee 2 turn ult with recharge rope so it's not even consistent.
Yeah probably. Kafka enables Himeko using burns too. I think youd have a hard time with skill point economy tho. Kafka and hook will need lots of SP to work at full power. Have you considered raising other characters like asta for burn + speed utility?

depend on the enemy weakness but for me i will built luka over sampo, bleed are way too broken because the dmg depend on enemy HP%, with kafka u can neglect the enemy weakness for bleed lmao. luka pros against sampo: luka is ST focused, 100% base chance meaning need less EHR% than sampo 65%. 1 stack bleed is way easier than 5 stack wind shear. also break effect have more dmg. SP friendly. luka base SPD is higher than sampo if i'm not mistaken also e6 luka will have more dmg than e6 sampo
Why do you use a lightning damage orb? Since her debuffs scale off atk, wouldn't it be better to have full an atk orb? Or does the lightning damage bonus apply to dots as well?

I think energy regen robe is pointless because you still cant get the 2 turn ulti.
People have done calculations and it's only viable at e4 Kafka and even then atk% still preferable but code likes it so whatever 😂

Lightning 4pc set gives you 20% more attack for one turn when you use your skill so basically a permanent 20% attack buff

Welt's lightcone's bonus 24% dmg affects the dot dmg I tested.
Kafka only needs like 11 EHR from relics if you max her traces.
28,3% is enough hitrate to never miss any enemy with your shock

Isn't it better if they have the same relics? You farm relics for both of them at once. Serval wants the crit pieces while Kafka wants the Atk pieces.

Is your gnsw S1? It comes close to Fermata S5 at only S1, and if you have it at higher superimpositions, then gnsw is a no-brainer.

basically she can use with almost all harmony, nihility characters and anyone has dots on their kit and she still perform well enough.
